This place met our needs for an overnight stay. The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean. It’s not a bad drive to the Paradise area of Mount Rainier National Park (about an hour or so). The complimentary breakfast was convenient as well. We didn’t explore the town so I can’t really speak to that, but we felt safe.

This little motel exceeded all expectations. Extraordinarily clean (except the Keurig machine, whoa how was dusty), comfortable and quality bedding/linens. Nice updates luxury vinyl plank flooring and new bathrooms. Convenient location (just a bit over an hour from Mt. Rainier, it also felt very safe). Friendly front desk - coffee and yea at the lobby. Reasonably priced for what you get in return. I highly recommend it. It was a comfortable stay!

Everything was great, we had a friendly check in, our room was clean and large,TV was huge with lots of channels. Wifi super super fast!A little noisy from the karaoke across the street, and people in the room above us jumping around,Otherwise fine.There are a few restaurants in the immediate vicinity which is good because breakfast is not included.

Great motel.Rooms were clean and cool for this hot summer day.Our room had the most comfy beds. We had plans for dinner but the comfort of the beds made us forget everything, even our hunger and we slept for 10 beautiful hours.Spacious room, had a good size fridge, reminds me of the one I had in my dorm. There is a microwave as well. The TV size was a good one.The only thing that was an issue was such a minor things but we made due with. Our toilet kept running so we fixed that.Also our shower drain was clogged so we just had to wait before we each showered for the water to clear our.Nearby activities: Mount Rainer can seen from our room.So many activities can be done here.Walkability: The town is just to the left a block away. Great places to go and do some shopping. Many restaurants along the way as well as bars.

Pretty dead location, not much around at least the days that we were there but it’s great for a simple stay if you are doing Mount rainier! The staff was very helpful and went above and beyond to accommodate us. I noticed they must be Re-renovating because there was some work going on around the hotel which made me happy to see improvements and care. The bed was comfy, and it was a perfect one night stay.

Very comfortable place to stay on the way to Mt. Ranier National Park. Great little town. The rooms are nice and roomy, bed was comfortable and bathroom was nice and clean. My only complaint is that when turning on the bathroom light the fan was horrible noisy. Really convenient to everything in town. From the front door of our room we had a beautiful view of Mt. Ranier. Don't miss Bruno's restaurant right next door. Great for breakfast and dinner.Food & drinks: Nearby Gypsy Wagon Espresso is to die for (coffee and smoothies). Very walkable from Motel are Bruno's, which was GREAT, Puerto Vallarta Mexican, and Subway.

Location and service were great. The room looked great, the wood floors are a nice touch. Floor needed to be swept and/ or mopped a little more. The beds are very firm. My hips and shoulders were killing me all night. I probably wont come back due to knowing i wont get a good night sleep.Maybe offering a mattress topper so those who need a little give in the bed can have an option.

This was a very nice room for the price. Everything was very clean and comfortable, there was plenty of parking, and the location is very convenient ( right next door to one of my family's favorite restaurants, Bruno's).Would definitily stay again! Kudos to Alan for his warm welcome and great customer service.

I'm currently staying at this motel and it's very nice. Room is in extremely good shape and clean. Bed is comfortable, and overall, the property is in very good shape and looks well maintained. It's an old school type motel where you park right next to your room, so packing and unpacking your vehicle is very easy. They don't have breakfast anymore, but there is a subway that opens early, plus plenty of breakfast options walking distance to the hotel.

Out of date and millennial run. Lazy owned dirt hole with outdated everything. It has a couple of good restaurants next to it but that's the only thing. Forget everything you know about service and contemporary lodging. This place is a step towards demolish and putting in a 7-11! If your coming here for the hikes and adventure, perfect for you cause the mattresses alone have a valley you can climb out of!!! Smells like sewage and smokers!

So, for what it is - it's a solid 4 rating. The rooms were clean and well sized. The bathroom was adequately sized with the sink located separate from the bathtub/shower. Our king bed was comfortable and set with four pillows. The AC was frigidly cold (brrr) and a bit difficult to dial in to a consistently comfortable temperature.The Continental breakfast was small but had all the offerings just limited variety which included breads, hot and cold cereals, scrambled and hard boiled eggs, juices and milk and of course coffee.

Not much to look at from the outside but a decent place overall. Checkin was quick and efficient. Front desk staff is very pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was nothing to rave about but reasonable and well-stocked (bagels, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, sausages, gravy, cereal, juices, yogurt, waffles). Rooms were clean and comfortable. Property was clean. Good dining options very close by. So overall a decent place to stay if you are visiting Mt Rainier.

What an underrated gem! When it comes to being close to Mt. Rainier, this place is unbeatable. I must say, I was super impressed with the incredible value I received for the price. From the breathtaking Rainier views to AC, and WiFi, were great (phone service in general in Eatonville was great especially when compared to Ashford where I spent 2 nights before here). Everything exceeded my expectations. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the room amenities like the mini fridge and microwave added to the convenience. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Stayed there while visiting Mount rainier. The motel is really clean for being a 2 star motel. The front desk lady is really nice, they also serve hot and cold breakfast in the morning. They do not have elevator so have to carry the luggage upstairs and walls are really thin, you can hear people outside and downstairs throughout the night. Also the price is a lot for motel.

My wife and I stayed here the past 2 nights. Pleasantly surprised! Room was spacious and clean. Service was very kind and helpful. After hiking all day I was sore and they provided me with an extra bag for ice and offered some ibuprofen if I wanted it. Breakfast isn't anything to brag about but it is always hot and there is a variety of choices. Would recommend a stay anytime.

Lots of parking on an excellent looking lot recently done, friendly staff that are always welcoming and willing to help, beautiful drive to get here and a beautiful view. Been fantastic here and would recommend to anyone, nice and clean hotel which looks lovely inside and out. You can see some fantastic views and the pictures speak for themselves there. Breakfast that is included is one of the best selections IV had and is always toped up and ready to go. Staff have seem lovely and can't help enough. Have another two night here but happy to do this review now as it's been one of the best on my trip.

We stayed here May 22, 2010, on a trip to the Mt. Rainier National Park. The motel was very clean and the room had been recently remodeled. Beds were very comfortable, and the location was quiet and conveniently located to some good restaurants. The staff was very courteous and helpful and answered all our questions about the area.Our only complaint was that the breakfast was not quite what the web site advertised. Instead of "pastry and fresh donuts from a local bakery" they served prepackaged pastries from some commercial bakery in California. They weren't bad, but were certainly not what was advertised. The waffles, however, were delicious, and the breakfast also offered hard-boiled eggs and sausages, which were not mentioned on the Web site.

Stayed 4 of 5 nights so far. Good varieties for breakfast. Beds are not great but typical. Nice staff. Good views of Mt Ranier from 2nd floor on one end of the property. Close to several restaurants with a good variety of cuisines.

We'd driven in from Seattle and were looking for a place to sleep cuz the road to paradise was closed and we didn't want to drive back all the way.The room was very neat and had good fixtures. The beds were clean and comfortable. Breakfast is complimentary and is served from 7 - 10. (waffles, bagels, cupcake, banana, coffee)Parking space is ample and there are restaurants and bars nearby if you wanna hang out. We loved our stay there and would recommend this place to anyone who wants to spend a night close to the park.

Way nicer than I expected! Having stayed around the area, we were pleasantly surprised by both the motel and the town. Clean, fairly modern room with nice beds, tv (hey, it’s nice to zone out) and great ac for a summer visit. The city isn’t huge but it has charm along with a few fun restaurants, a market and a number of retail shops to explore. Will be back on my next Rainier trip!

Mill village might have been a respectable establishment once upon a time, but we booked two rooms and both of them smelled, one like piss. Also the toilet seat fell off within 5 minutes of our arrival, and they didn't even bother to put it back when they refreshed the linens. They also didn't replace the sheets, and there was only one kureg cup in the room upon arrival. Apparently they are cutting back on the basics, and that isn't good.I will say that their continental breakfast included some of the best Belgian waffles ever. Small victories.
