Orcas Island Market has it all: great wine/beverage selection, stocked deli with hot/cold salad bar, coffee shop, and a fantastic meats section. You can find a lot of locally sourced seafood, meats, dairy, and produce as well as local artisan items. The team is friendly and helpful always. The store is clean and well organized, although I still sometimes get a little electric shock now and again. If your lucky you’ll get a little shock too. 😉 If you know, you know!

I can assure anyone who ever stumbles across this review, that Orcas Island Market is the most well-meaning, family/customer oriented, & environmentally conscious grocery store in the history of grocery stores. Their loyalty to not only their customer, but also to their staff is unparalleled. It's an amazing store for the Island community & conveniently located directly above the center of planet Earth.Orcas Island Market - the standard has been set.

Visited this store while on a road trip vacation last fall. Was amazed at the selection and quality available on a ferry served (unreliable) Island. I only wish the local market in my small Colorado town was as good.

an interesting place.my friend and I come here every Wednesday during school lunch to get one of our favorite foods— mozzarella sticks. I’ve had mozzarella sticks before but nothing compares to the ones served at the Island Market hotbar. they’re so juicy and warm and delicious. they are what keep us going throughout Wednesday’s afternoon classes. getting them is the highlight of our week.however, this past Wednesday (12/13) there were no mozzarella sticks at the hotbar. their label was gone and their space was missing. we asked around and heard that we would not be seeing mozzarella sticks at the market again. holding onto hope, we checked the frozen section— perhaps there would be a frozen alternative to satisfy the customers’ mozzarella needs? but no luck. there are no longer mozzarella sticks of any kind in this store. we are very disappointed that the thing that brings us together has been snatched from us.

Unless you have been on the island you wouldn't believe the difference between Orcas Market and shopping on the mainland. Sure things cost more on the island that's too be expected. What's not expected is the level of personal service you receive. More like what you would expect in a 1950s store. Very good service and literly the hub of the community.

Much appreciation to the staff for being kind to obvious visitors. The visitors like myself clearly stand out from the locals just trying to shop in peace. Tried our best to not be in the way. I imagine island food is precious, and we debated bringing more groceries with us so as to not overburden the community with our needs. A lot of food just doesn't travel well though, so we really, really appreciate this market for accommodating travelers.

Good island grocery. A wide selection of dry goods, produce and meats. They have typical prepared foods and coffee. Big selection of wine and beer. Prepared foods as well. They have very friendly and helpful staff on site.

Orcas Island itself is obviously a beautiful and an island that is spread out as far as the small towns. So it was very helpful to have a place like Orcas Island Market to be able to grab things needed while on vacation without asking to driving to town every time.

Biggest grocery on the island. Decent selection, baked goods, booze, ice cream, deli, meats, and usual stuff. You'll pay a pretty island penny, but what do you expect.

Hey this market has 4 flavors of kombucha on tap! The blackberries were so sweet, they were not organic but really wowed me. They offer bundt cakes from Cafe Velley that are so moist I am amazed they dont liquify. The staff there are all wonderful as well.

We didn't shop very much just a few things to last a few days. The market was bright and clean offering pretty much anything you'd expect in a major city. No sacrificing here. And the prices were reasonable when factoring the remote location and volume. Their selection of fresh meat, seafood. And produce was impressive along with their liquor stock.

You can end up spending lots of time and money here... not a bad thing. One of the only grocers on Orcas, but well stocked. You can find anything. I was there just for snacks, but $50 later.... Lots of local goods and bulk foods. They have a coffee/beer place inside.

It's the only supermarket on Orcas but it's clean, big enough and friendly. Prices are steep..(Island Life problems).. it's handy, easy to get to. Oh and the ladies in the coffee bakery section were so friendly. The baked goods were yum.

Very nice store well stocked even sells liquor and wine and good selection of craft beer. Nice bakery good coffee cake and tarts. Lots of fresh produce and fresh fruit. Overall not a small town feel I was very pleased with the selections. Because as you know it is a small town. Nicely done!

For a small supermarket on a modest sized island, this place is fantastic! They have a nice little beer and wine section with a bunch of different wines and about 14 tabs so you can sit down and enjoy a nice beverage or take home a growler or growler of whatever beer they have on tap and they have great beer on tap!

They have a generator!Lights are out on the Islands and very few locations have their own power.The store had everything we needed to get through the outage.Great place to shop in any condition.

Very nice, clean, well stocked grocery store. The gentleman at the meat/fish counter was friendly and welcoming. The fish was exceptional quality. The produce was excellent quality. Whenever e sail into Eastsound, Orcas Island market is our must visit favorite.

Best grocery on the island. Very new feeling. Has everything you'd need - not a scaled down grocery store. Great beer selection.One note about their deli refrigerated take and bake pizza. We tried the supreme and a DiGiorno pizza side by side. The DiGiorno was much better.
