Having arrived at night , we went in and asked the lady working if this was the only grocery store on the island . She responded Yes.Turns out she's a big liar and the main grocery store is directly behind this one . I don't mind ridiculous prices but you don't have to be a bold faced liar . She knew I was new to town and thought she had me fooled.Needless to say we won't be shopping at the CO Op again.

Best store I’ve been to stateside. Super curated selection of natural, organic, tasty, top of line products, from drinks you never knew you needed to try to Icecream choices for kids, sugar free natural chocolate bars, high quality candy, and my absolute fave - deli options. We got the frittata two days in a row, breakfast burrito, kale salad. If you’re into clean eating, it’s a must shop. this spot saved our trip with all the restaurant options being sparse (low season and covid). Keep up the great work and awesome place.

Great little grocery store with a wide selection of in season, local foods as well as organic and specialty foods. There was a sweet dining area upstairs with big windows and an outdoor roof patio! A nice surprise.

This store was so cute and I would come back everyday if I could. I loved their Deli. Best wrap I have ever had. So many GF and vegan options I’m in love. The staff was so nice too :)

Adorable and extremely helpful.!!! They had a product that is hard to find in co-ops all over Puget Sound!! (Hot cinnamon bears treats)Thankyou, ....parking can be a pinch, so park at the 'other' grocery and walk half a block over.

Went here on a Sunday morning for lunch after there wasn't anything else open that wasn't donuts/bagels. Glad we did. Great sandwiches and soup. Place upstairs to eat with balcony outside.Good grocery store, I'd shop here if I lived nearby. Prices a little high, comparable to SF bay.

Ok so the coffee here is excellent and really really really well priced for the island. Same with the hot food - well worth a visit. PLUS they have a seating area upstairs where you can hang out, eat your snacks and drinks your coffee, and escape from the rain. I always make a point to stop in when I'm on the island - you should too! ❤️

Great deli, rustic breads, excellent produce and bulk Goods! The sandwiches are made to order if you want in the deli and are extra good if you get them grilled. There is a spot upstairs you can eat, as well as free WiFi

While I share the principles this coop claims to uphold, the people working there are among the rudest I’ve ever encountered. It’s apparent that the only people they have any interest serving or respect for are themselves and the small group of people they know personally. I would not waste your time here, even if there were redemptive qualities. These hypocrites don’t deserve support.

Very proud of our local Co-op. It provides local stability on so many levels. Very reasonably priced too compared to the Market across the street.Local, sustainable, organic. It doesn't get dialed in any better than that.

The coop serves the community with reasonablely priced groceries and staples. They emphasize organic goods.

Went in there because it's a co-op, but came out empty handed and with a case of prejudice. Wanted to order 2 sandwiches, lady making the sandwiches sees us and doesn't bat an eye and turns away. 2 other guys who happened to be Caucasian walk up next to us and she is quickly to take the order and here is where it gets interesting. Guy orders 2 Rosario sandwiches and she was sure "I will make your sandwiches". There were no special orders made for the sandwiches just 2 Rosario. So after taking their order she moves quickly turns around and walks back, even though we had inched closer to the counter. She then comes back and ask us what we wanted. I put my order a Cubano sandwich and then my girl order her sandwich. A Rosario, she quickly says there should be some Rosario in the front of you. We were stumped for a second and she then proceeds to explain to us that sandwiches are made every morning and we should grab one of those. The time was 130pm no thank you we don't a sandwich that was made in the morning. Most importantly how come you didn't tell the 2 guys before us to grab those sandwiches. Maybe I may be reaching but both of us don't think so. She had no problem making fresh sandwiches for the 2 guys and was okay to tell us to have the old sandwiches. Terrible experience, but it is to be expected around this area and time.

Orca's Food Co-op is a breath of fresh air.It might seem small but don't underestimate what all you can find.Locally made products from soaps to jams can be found here.I appreciated the variety of bulk, gluten-free, vegetarian, and vegan products offered there. The produce section has organic and conventional choices with a sizeable portion being sourced locally. In the back you can purchase cafe drinks as well as ready-made sandwiches, salads, soups, and other small bites.I'm a fan of this small business and I hope it thrives! With cookie-cutter superstores everywhere it's so good to see character and community in a co-op.

The prices are a bit spendy here but we found a nice table to sit down and enjoy our food outside because we couldn't take the dog inside which was a bummer.

I am not an ardent organic shopper, but the Co-op made me question my thinking. The produce was really fresh and colorful. Great variety of meats and cheeses! Coffee and wines as well.

Cannot comment on the prices or selection of the coop's groceries, I only visited the deli service counter. Enjoyed the Cuban panini, wild rice soup and one of the veggie salads. The staff overall were very friendly.

Great little grocery store with a well-stocked selection of local and specialty food items. While masks aren't required anymore, I appreciated that they had a box of them available at the entrance.

Went here for a sandwich. Waited 20 minutes before realizing it was going to be at least another 30 min. They were completely disorganized, understaffed, and chaotic. And slooooow! And not customer focused whatsoever. But will give them another try next time in the area!

This is a nice little co-op. Good variety of items. Typical fare if you've been to any smaller town co-op. The prices are market appropriate which is great considering they are on an island.

Basically a mini PCC. Healthy and responsible products and food. Everything you could need for home and a cafe/ deli with room to eat and relax upstairs. Good beer and wine selection too.

Delicious deli and plenty of local and organic produce to choose from. The carrot cake was moist and had just enough sweetness to trick me into thinking it was a health food.

There's only a few co- ops we could afford to purchase from and this was one of them! Great shop with a wide selection. Fantastic home town feel as well.

An impressive food coop for such a small town/island. Fresh, daily oysters and clams were a nice, local touch along with other locally made foods featured.

Fantastic local cooperative I'm a member of. I live on San Juan and will still always stop by Orcas Food coop whenever I am in Eastsound. They make one awesome Cubano sandwhich! Great views of Eastsound from the upstairs dining area too! A fantastic merging of food, community and civic pride! Kudos OFC!

Decent over priced food with certain cashier who likes to yell at women. Might consider supporting other establishments. They don’t seem to accept all people.
