This is my second time shopping here. I will start by saying, I know it’s a tough area to work in. I came in quickly and saw only one employee it’s 9:00 pm. I said hello and she didn’t respond which is ok, then when I checked out she looked annoyed and was throwing my things in the bag. Thought I’d share because the world is bad enough as it is, we all need to have some grace, compassion and kindness. I won’t add her name.

The cashier a lady and is extremely rude and racist. I had a basket full of items.I was about to purchase.I asked her a question about something.She rolled her eyes and told me she did not need to answer anything because she did not like the way I was dressed. I was not wearing anything inappropriate.It was a nice day so I had a dress on the actually came to my knees with no cleavage. I we'll never return and i will let more people know how you get treated at this location when you want to buy things from this store

Worse Walgreens I have ever visited. I think they hand picked workers here to be rude. I asked if I can get cash back since their ATM wasn't working. She said no. Other lady said $20 then didn't authorize on my purchase cash back. I said let's return the hair color and purchase again she said can't do return. I bought another item again same thing. She return the second item. Ripped my receipt in pieces. I checked my bank charges are there no return. She said it will take 11 days. I asked why she ripped my receipt she says so I don't steal and try to return again. This is insulting. I think she stole my $17 + and did not want me to have records. I don't understand who they are dealing in this store but not every one is there to steal

NEED NEW STAFF WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE SKILLS. I know the manager won't do anything or would better then 2 star rating. I stopped in here to get wound dressing and other items for patient. I am a care taker. While shopping I had a bad tooth ache only thing that help is something really cold so I got some mint ice cream. Continued to get the things I need took couple bites of ice cream. Lady comes up to me asks me not to eat in store. I asked is this a rule or personal reason. She told me its personal. Regardless I put up and continued to get the things I need. 10 min later another employee comes up to rudely says grab my things go up front to pay. I don't have everything I need yet. He tells me I didn't pay for the ice cream. I said I did pay he says no you did not so showed him receipt. Continues to harass me mind you I have not touched ice cream since the lady asked me not to. He tells me im trespassing and he going to call the police. Never have I been traspassed or do I steel from stores. He refused to stop harassing me so I left myvstuff and went across town to a better walgreens. I told him I would talk to management about my treatment. He laughed and said he'd love to hear from me. WALGREENS YOU NEED NEW STAFF starting with new Manager.

Kent Des Moines didn't tell me until I paid for 30 dollar portable charger they don't do refunds I said what I find something better somewhere else? I looked at me in his foreign accent (not being mean) that they been having thefts that steal and return to other locations so we don't do refunds...well I said refunds ok? He said yes until the lady came by and changed his story I'm like how im going to steal if they locked in a case and and you go straight to register? And don't give receipts? That's suspicious don't go there they will steal your money and he said he can't exchange it and was feeling like I was going to do some stealing with a purchase I paid for I didn't even touch the merchandise until I paid it makes no sense to me!

Your pharmacist who does vaccines should probably learn to be more professional and actually help the patients who come in order of appointments not decide to loudly skip someone to hang out with a friend and gab for a decent period of time then realize they are being both listened to and watched while the person waiting sits and wonders why make an appointment if you aren't going to be helped.

Cashier says they have a public bathroom then my young daughter goes to go to the bathroom and this old manager yells at her and tells her they don’t let customers use their bathroom. Right when she is about to go in. And she has already been holding it because McDonald’s closed their lobby. What is going on in this world!!! Someone help meeeeeeeee figure this out. Does there need to be some kind of government intervention, you have customers you have to have a bathroom.According to capitalism you just don’t spend money there and that is how you make the change, so we didn’t buy anything and left. Boooooo Walgreens!!!!! Come on everyone let’s boycott this underperforming two star rated Walgreens. Dont go here!!!!! Find a new pharmacy new liquor store new cosmetics store!!! Go to this Indian restaurant instead, Indian Bistro, pictured in review! I bought a full meal here because they were the only business that let us use the restroom!!!!

Signed up for the auto refill and receive texts when the prescriptions are filled. They are definitely a very busy pharmacy since bartells closed. I am satisfied since fred meyer no longer has a contract with express scripts. This is convenient location to home. Glad they have a drive thru, it took no longer compared to the fred meyer pharmacy drive thru.

The photo department is less than useless. Do NOT bother getting your photos printed here, especially with the Picta app. They will not get get your photos and will waste your time. Customer service was terrible.

Absolutely horrible. They say they have my prescription, but won't fill it. I waited on hold for over two hours. It said I was next in line. Then they hung up on me. I called again and it said there were more than 3 people in line. I called the store and explained to her, she didn't listen, transferred me, and hung up on me again. If I don't get my prescriptions and have to go a day without, it's this pharmacy's fault. Go ANYWHERE else.

Pharmacy at this location is consistently TERRIBLE, go elsewhere. Multiple times, Walgreens acknowledges receipt of a RX, then status stays indefinitely "in progress" for days on end. No out of stock, no delay, no progress. When you try to call, hold times can be an hour or more (literally an hour), and they often hang up on you before you speak to a human. On the rare occasion you actually reach someone, they look up your medication and then say, we'll have that filled for you tomorrow. Okay, what was the hold up then???Recently, when I gave up and tried to switch a prescription to a new pharmacy After waiting 4 days for a RX that was supposed to be ready same day, the new pharmacy was unable to complete the transfer, because they could not get through on the phone to Walgreens, either.In summary, holding a patient's prescriptions hostage indefinitely and refusing to communicate is not only unacceptable but should be illegal.I'm done. Walgreens, you have lost this customer (and many more from the sound of these reviews). Good luck.

This is a review specifically for the pharmacy at this location. They are severely understaffed. The drive through window is closed indefinitely. Lines are long and very slow. They don't call you back if there is a problem with your prescription. They lose prescriptions. It takes forever to reach them by phone. One afternoon, during open hours, I waited on hold for 30 min and the system hung up on me. I called right back, waited another 30 min, and got hung up on again. By that point it was time for the pharmacy to close. Finally I gave up and switched to CVS. I don't blame the staff directly, they have always been courteous, but come on.

This store used to be awesome just a few short years ago. All the employees worked here forever. Something changed, something happened, now you never see the same employees here for long. The parking lot is covered in garbage. Homeless people are all around outside.Walgreens needs to seriously fix this store or close it. Walgreens customers deserve better than this. This store is abominable.

This is a disaster of a pharmacy. Unreliable and very slow to refill. nearly a week (and not because they are out of stock). Also closed on weekends?!?! WTH?!? They really should just permenantly close this pharm location and rely on other stores. I went elsewhere and got the refill same day. Need same day, next day or 3day service? Forget about it at this location, not going to happen.

Unbelievable experience. Nice people who work there but....I submitted a prescription request about 6 days ago but didn't receive a notification on it being ready. But it is a common medication (amoxicillin), and I had another one to pick up also. I go to wait in the drive thru lane at 1230pm. I wait almost an hour until I am at the front of the line the be helped and they say they are going to lunch. At 125pm. I thought they went to lunch at 130. She still looked up my order to see if it was ready, and she said it just needed to be put together and that they would be back in 45 minutes. So THAT was annoying. Apparently, waiting in line at 1230 doesn't guarantee you'll be helped.I come back after their lunch, and I find out they only have 5 of the 28 pills I need. I could have been told that BEFORE they went to lunch. How do you only have 5 pills of something you should have hoards of? I don't understand.Also, I tried seeing if I could pick up the rest of my pulls at another location, and I CANNOT transfer my order to another store now that I picked up a partial order. That is asinine. I can understand if I was trying to use CVS instead, but I should be able to transfer an order from store to store. It's not even like it's a controlled substance.What a lousy waste-of-time experience. I'm going back to Bartells. And I thought the Bartells Des Moines location was going going the drain...wow. don't use this Walgreens.

I do not recommend this pharmacy at all. I’ve always had problems everytime I needed my prescription to be refilled or they always try to charge me when I never had to pay before since my insurance does cover it full. I always have to tell them to double check before charging me & they end up not needing to charge me. They are not reachable as well, I am usually on hold for 40 minutes before I give in and hang up because the wait is too long. I gotten to the point where I am switching pharmacy since I never can get a hold of them nor do I want to go through the hassle of getting a refill. This pharmacy seriously needs change because this is people’s medications that are in your hands!! Most people need their medications on a timely manner as well, this pharmacy makes it very difficult to make that happen.

A Pharmacy in theory. Not so much in practice. Often understaffed or randomly closed. Not open on Saturday and Sunday. Medication refills that should happen automatically now seem to require near Devine intervention. I want to be empathetic towards the staff however it is seemingly less and less possible to get them to acknowledge you are there. If you need medication in order to remain in good health I would recommend using an actual pharmacy and avoid this.

When we entered the store we asked the front cashier where the restrooms were located, and they pointed to the back of the store and gave us a code number to unlock the door. After entering the restroom we were approached by the manager who rudely yelled at us that the restrooms were meant for the staff and off limits to the customers!She ordered us to “Get out!”, and continued her tirade as we walked to the counter to pay for our purchases. We are devoted Walgreen customers and we don’t deserve this kind of treatment!

If I could rate the most consistent in not filling my prescriptions on time ,this is the worst ,never answer the phones, I have been going to this pharmacy for nearly 20 years, and I get treated like this. What happened to having a relationship with your patience? This was the very best store in this area, now it looks like a third world country outside, and homeless thieves inside robbing the store in front of me. I have been getting the same scips here for at least 10 years straight, now I can't get my pain medications filled here for two weeks after I drop them off, always a excuse, last time it was 18 days till they filled my pain script, and only filled half of it, telling me take it or leave it. I am understanding that they are having staff issue's but try to help and communicate with your patients, dont make it impossible for them to get there life giving medications. Very frustrated with them because I just get excuses. I hope that this store can get back to the family friendly store I remember, were the staff knows you by name and smiles when they see you. I don’t recommend this location! Disrespectful, unorganized and not following mask mandate! I placed an order online for a 8x10 canvas. Once I got the confirmation email that it was ready I headed over. At first the woman could not find my order by my last name. When she asked my first name she looked at me impatiently and confused and said “huh?” In not a very nice way. My name is unusual so I said it again and spelled it for her. She looked in the back and finally found it. Besides this disrespectful attitude towards my name I was disappointed to see the woman was not wearing her mask correctly. She was wearing it under her nose (fully exposing it) which does not serve her or me. I also noticed that employees were not enforcing the mask mandate inside. There were customers with masks lowered and not social distancing. I understand that they can’t be expected police every single person, but several employees walked passed customers with lowered masks and said nothing. On top of all that my order was printed in low quality!No thank you. I won’t be going back and I don’t recommend this location.

The cashier (mindy) gave us the wrong medication. Laughed that they do it all the time. Was very arrogent and rude about it and tried to refuse fixing it. She also, after pulling this stunt, didnt fill out the second prescription we needed. Said to come pick it up tomorrow then never filled it out so we couldnt get it. Made us waste our time going out there the next day too. the manager who fixed out problem was nice but the woman with brown hair who handles the counter inside was nasty, arrogant and entitled . Avoid at all costs.

This pharmacy should win a first place award for worst in the nation. If you try to call them, expect to be on hold longer Than the California DMV. Allow 8 hours. Call when they open at 9 and hope to be lucky enough to talk to a person before they close at 6. Make sure to take the day off work if you go there. I usually bring a fold up chair, colored pencils and something to do, like knitting or a fully charged phone with a movie on it. And never expect your medication to be there. They run out and won't "try to reorder it" until you go to fill it, so don't fill any life sustaining medications here or anything you can't go a week without when they "run out." Always EXPECT a problem or mistake on their part. Never expect things to go the way they are supposed to and you might be ok.
