I drive by for work weekly and I decided to try their burger today, I was not disappointed! The Burger was huge and flavorful and cooked perfectly. The French fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The staff was very polite and brought the food out to me in my car while I did my work. I would give this place a 10 out of 10!

Not the average corner store, a nice stop if you're camping in the area, even worth a bit of a detour in my opinion. Has about every selection of drink in pretty much every flavor. I got some chicken strips and they were made of actual chicken unlike most. Adding to the cool factor, they even have functional vintage gas and diesel pumps. Not bad prices imo.

Excellent customer service, staff was very polite and attentive. The selection is very extensive. They have almost anything you might be looking for, all the flavor options you can think of! The hot food is fresh and absolutely delicious, definitely would recommend the chicken tenders (REAL CHICKEN) and Joe's. Definitely will be going back 😁

Bought a 6 dollar burrito. Lady said it was bean and cheese at 2 pm. Instead it was a cold potato, bacon, and egg. I hate eggs. I do not eat eggs. Your overpriced burrito went out the window. U suck

Well we would have said something if we would have checked our order first but we trusted it would be perfect as it usually is. I posted so you would be aware of the problem not to be rude. And I know you handed it to my husband that wasn't the problem. The problem was that the food was not acceptable. And I'm sure you wouldn't have been happy spending that kind of money and not being satisfied either. So take the positive criticism and make some changes that would be the smart thing to do. Have a great day!!!

We stopped by, welcome grocery store on our way to Artists point at mount Becker. This store has everything one needs for any given day, starting from mouth watering hot food like onion rings, potato wedges, chicken wings etc. to beer and alcohol to get one cooled on a hot sunny day.They have a wide variety of items and easy to spot on the side of the road. There is a gas station attached to this store which makes it even more convenient. There is enough parking space Infront of the store.The staff are helpful and the restrooms are clean.

Great little place to stop by on the way back home. Exceeded my expectations for a gas station grocery store. The employees were extremely friendly and helpful. Ordered burgers and fries for 6 people and it came out fast. Nice little patio area to eat on. And the food was so much better than I thought, crispy fries and a well cooked burger. Even had ring toss and a Frisbee game out back for the kids to play on. If I'm ever in the area again looking for a quick bite, I'll definitely stop by !

Had a job at Caynon Industries today. Stop by this place on the way out, i had the deluxe cheese burger, a lot bigger than I thought it was going to be, and it was amazing. The amount of frys that came with it was way more than i expected. I will definitely be stopping by there more when I have work out that way.

We didn’t end up buying anything here as we were trying to find a place to buy a NW Forest Pass so we could go hiking and NOT get a ticket. They do t see them here BUT the lady working here was so nice she called another convenience store in next town over Maple Falls and found where in that town we could get that pass. She then described how to get there, what and we’re to look to get to the right place. Good people and nice store inside. I HIGHLY recommend you stop here if in the area.

This Place Has Everything You Need...Gas, Propane, Beer/Wine/Liquor, Ice Cream, Convenience Store, a Kitchen (Love the Philly Cheese Steak Meal and Bacon Wrapped Jalapeños) Regular Coffee and an Espresso Machine to Make Lattes, Mocha, Hot Chocolate, ETC...Soda Fountain, Ice, Firewood, Outdoor Seating Area...Very Convient Place to go...Staff is Friendly and Helpful. Stopped for gas and a little snack and found myself not wanting to leave! I swear this little store has been there since the start of times or at least my time! I found myself cought up in listening to some local gossip, all of which was important. Before I knew it, I was pointing my own finger in the direction of a 1/4 mile. I processed to tell a story from 1971 where my Grandfather without missing a beat in his story, reached to the 30-06 in the back window and let fly 2 rounds at a coyote! My ears ring everytime I think of that at the age of 10 and gas sold for $0.29 cents a gallon!That's the kind of feel to expect from welcome store

This is hopefully enough information to help achieve a 5 star rating in my oppinion.I ordered a bacon hamburger, specified no cheese, it has some cheese on it, as if it was a mistake, I could see smeared cheese. I tried to pick it off. Bacon was fed to pups as it was not even close to being cooked. Burger was barely done, very pink. Fries were to die for! I have a dairy allergy, so about 10 min after my meal, I felt ill, and unfortunately, my entire meal came back up. I called in to inform them of the situation, not wanting anything in return, and the gentelman who answered didn't have a clue how to take the information and wanted to hand me off to the cook. It was a simple call to let them know that I was less than impressed by the meals and didn't even get a valid response. Like, "gosh, I'm so sorry to hear this. I will pass this information on" i got, "uuuhhhhh, i can let you talk with the cook."(The bacon cheese burger my wife ordered was made with the same level of care, or lack there of. Bacon was not edible, her frise were great, and her burger was far too pink for her to eat. Dogs ate well.)As far as atmosphere, you can't use 1 of the doors to enter the building because theres a red bull fridge in the way. Too much stuff stuffed in the front.I have eaten here many times since it was re-opened 8 ish years ago. In past times, I would have given it 5 stars. Local beef from mommas garden, etc. I look forward to re-visiting in the future, with better communication, on both sides.With respect, to the hard work it takes to keep a business afloat in these hard times, in a rual area none the less. You are appreciated!

Very nice clean store. It has everything you need, they thought of everything when they filled this store. The Owner is very friendly and inviting. The deli is awesome. Going to the mountain stop and check it out. I think the gas is pretty reasonable too.

They have great food (even if it's just a fried food/burgers kind of place) in their deli and the beer selection is the best on Mt. Baker Hwy. Even the fuel prices are fair. Welcome Grocery is our go-to during the ski season and when we make the occasional summer trip to Mt. Baker.

Amazingly delicious hamburger and fries. What a find! Hamburger patty is hand shaped and ample size. Then burger is loaded with all the fixings. Fries are some of the best we have eaten if not the best! Did I mention soft serve cone that is both economical and delicious. Definitely a great place to stop.

Order a simple burger with cheese. It took over an hour for them to make it. Meanwhile people were leaving the store with orders that were made before me. They made me wait outside of the virus. I finally went in and all the staff were polite and respectful. Especially the young lady working the register and the cook. They refunded my money.

The welcome store is such a great place! They catered a dinner for 30 plates at my work, the Black Mountain Ranch, and it was fantastic. All the workers are very kind and helpful. The food tastes wonderfully and it isn't overpriced. Everything I have tried from here I have enjoyed. I highly recommend if you are driving by to stop in and try their food!

The owner and staff of this place relly have done a great job of Turning this once abandoned building into a thriving marketplace. It’s a great place to stop weather my way to a hike, taking my motorcycle up to baker or just having a mini vacation in my backyard. They even have hot food too. Check Them out. You’ll make it your regular stop, every time you head toward baker.:)

I stopped in for some dinner the other night. Oh my gravy it was delicious. I got the burger and the Philly and my husband and i split them. We tried the bourbon bbq sauce which I will for sure be going back for on the ribs or maybe the pulled pork sandwich. The gals were so awesome!!
