Hands down the best place to get feed and hay. The folks there are always polite and help load you up. They always have good advice on how to save money when it comes to feeding your livestock too. I won't shop anywhere else but here. Love it.

We buy layer mash, rabbit pellets, horse grain, and alfalfa pellets here and our animals are all notably healthier on Kaniksu feed. Our horse who has had issues with ulcers is putting on good weight with the mare, foal, and senior feed along with alfalfa pellets. Our chickens and ducks lay much more since switching feed.I like their quick, no nonsense but still friendly service. I’m in and out of there fast than the quickest coffee stand lol.Thanks, Kaniksu

We've been getting our livestock feed here for several years. We did stop briefly and used the Tractor Supply in Old Town. However, our chickens in particular struggled with the feed quality and so we went back to Kanisku. The little bit of savings we are getting at the Old Town store is nothing compared to the quality of the food that we get here. The staff is always very friendly. This is a locally owned and ran business.

This is an excellent small business. Yes one needs to pay attention to their hours of operation but as a small business owner we understand to keep prices down they can’t be open like chain stores. The feed we buy from them is the best quality and the employees are always wonderful! I have never experienced anything but kindness and we buy monthly and have for several years. I highly recommend this business.

I love this place! The guys are so very helpful in answering all my questions regarding game feed. I like the fact I can get bagged feed or bulk feed. They are locals with great prices. Will continue doing business forever.

Newly opened. The quality of the grains available here are so much better then any nearby feed store. Every bag I have gotten has been great. Consistent quality and great customer service. Also supports other local farmers! Just got a bag of locally grown and stoned milled flour and berry lemon bread mix. If you have cows, goats, horses or poultry ect.. I suggest checking this place out!

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Always lend a hand loading the car, even if i don't ask. It's better than any store bought feed, better priced, and you're supporting a local business! Win win.

Very disappointed in these guys right now. They do have very good feed but their customer service leaves something to be desired I was on my way in and called them that I would be there right at closing if they could wait for me. The gal I talked to said that's fine when I get there one minute after closing the doors were locked and they refused to sell me feed. Will be talking to owners on the next business day see how that goes

All the staff here was very helpful and friendly. They even came out and helped us load. They actually even ended up almost doing all that work once they saw that I wasn't as much help as I thought I would be for my husband🤦. Went so far as to even go and grab more people. I am very grateful to the staff here! Thanks again.

Great feed. But follow your posted hours of business!!! I've gone, out of my way to get feed here and they're closed. Yet online and on their door is posted that they're supposed to be open. I understand things come up and small town etc... but its happened a handful of times and makes for a huge inconvenience

This is a good feed shop. Newer ownership. They mill their own feeds and will mill special mixes to order. I buy all my rabbit, chicken and goat feed here. Neighbor swears by their horse feed.Owner is a friendly guy and a fellow beard wearer!

No corn, No soy they claim in the chicken feed, We bought the Mega layer in 1/2 ton totes at nearly $400 per. After about a week I noticed Full kernels of corn. So I called Ron (the owner) and he denied it, claiming most people mistake yellow pea for corn. Yellow pea and corn look NOTHING a like. I post pics on his FB page and he msgd me saying it was human error but refused to fix the problem. Pictured on a paper towel is an idea of what we got. I don't even know what the pellets are... And his hay is always MOLDY! Have fun feeding that to your animals.

There website says they close at 5:30 we were there at 4:45 and they were closed. Even called to make sure they had what we needed. I think they need to change there time on there website It not like we live close by.
