I went into the store to buy a pair of vice grips. Asked for help and the lady asked Lenny to help me find them, instead he crouched in an isle talking to himself. I had no help and the tool I needed was behind the cashier that sent me to "Lenny".

I spent over 2 hrs waiting for 3 different employees to try and mix up black paint. They dared to ask me to let 2 separate customers cut right in the middle of "trying" to mix my paint. The first gal took only about 5 minutes other one was a guy who needed paint matching but didn't know what paint he wanted. I was appalled! After about 10 minutes I mentioned it wasn't okay to keep putting me off to help others as I was there first. I had been there for over 2hrs at this point. I was turned away about 5 minutes after I addressed that situation. After 2 hours and about 30 minutes 6 gallons of paint were turned into various shades of Grey, Never did they ever figure out how to mix me up black paint. I think if I was left alone with that machine for about 20 minutes I would have been able to do it myself. It's not hard to follow instructions!!

It is no longer ACE Hardware. It is now Henry's. It has a much nicer staff, always friendly and helpful. It's still a little pricey, but you pay for convenience, or at least I do.

I dislike participating in a self fulfilling prophecy, but many locals try to avoid this store.Honestly, I have pretty good luck here, but, I don't always feel like customers or employees are appreciated.Other Ace stores have a different vibe, So it's not the Ace part.I want to like it here.I recommend you try it out, and decide for yourself. It might save you a trip to Spokane. Though.... you might find what you need in Loon Lake at 4 seasons, or the Newport Ace.Best of luck.

Did not have bad service. But today heard an older gentleman who seemed to be the supervisor/management bad mouthing another employee pretty harshly and loudly with another. Was at least three isles away. Very unprofessional. Rest of staff was amazing. From what I've read management needs a full revamp.

The employees are generally friendly. I dont trust the owners of this store in the community. But sometimes you need something and can't get it without going to Ace or else you need to drive to Spokane.

Spot to stop at if in need of something small quick. Would recommend calling ahead to see if what you need is in stock. Salesman derek was very nice and and extremely helpful. I had a problem with my sink and he was a real life saver and was very knowledgeable on the plumbing parts and piping.

Horrible customer service... Gave this place chance after chance trying to support a local business but after hearing nothing but excuses we are done going to this place. We have to drive to get there anyways so the surrounding other ACEs will be getting our business. Complaints include bad customer service, high staff turn over, poorly labeled and priced items and even if it shows available online for their store many times they don't have it. Save yourself and go somewhere else.

The majority of the staff are nice. A few managers/supervisors are unprofessional and rude. I am an animal lover, however, this is a place of business. Why are you allowing a cat to lay all over your merchandise? And an open litter box next to the public restrooms?? 🤢 Seems this place goes through a lot of different employees, maybe there is a reason for this???? This place would do so much better with new owners and a clean up of their staff.

Every time I can't find something at a big chain store for a project I'm working, I walk into my local Deer Park Ace and there it is sitting right on the shelf! Now I just start there and save time! People are pretty great there too.

I had an issue with a load I was carrying and was not able to travel on without help. Manager Cody I believe his name was stepped up without hesitation. I literally would not of made it home without his generosity. My new friend is a great American and a fantastic role model to the other employees. Kudos Cody!

I needed something and literally got there 15 minutes before they closed. I received great service! My questions were answered and no one rushed me out the door. I also got my purchases loaded into my car for me. Talk about great service! I'll be back!

Staff is friendly, store is in poor condition and product selection is not as good as the Wandermere Ace. Unfortunately, I see a closure in their future as soon as the Deer Park Tractor Supply opens.

I forgot my mask and a lot of stores will give you a cheap mask to shop. Not Ace. But will sell you one. Sounds like the management doesn't care. But they are finding new ways to make a buck. Management suck. Employees are helpful.

I needed some parts to fix my sink drain and I was taken right to the aisle where the piece I needed was and they showed me a couple other options to fix it too. Some of the things were as good as what I wanted but at a better price and then they let me choose which one I wanted. Again they asked me if I needed anything else and if I did that they would be glad to help me. I said no and told them Thank You and to have a good rest of their day and they told me to do the same. That's why I like to shop in a small town where you know each other VS big city shopping where everyone and everything is in a hurry and no one seems to be able to take time to really even talk to you let alone smile at you.. Because of the exceptional customer service I received that day at Ace in Deer Park I will return there again and again and I won't worry about if it's cheaper in town.👍🤗😊

Over priced, Employees have difficulty finding things, inconsistent management, Confusing instructions from owner and daughter, Extremely hard to work at this Ace store.Huge turnaround. Hardly any Ace brand merchandise.,! Way over priced$$$

Sure, the "big box" stores have more selection. But as far as customer service and convenience are concerned, Ace is the best. I've always found their employees to be knowledgeable and helpful; when I need something but don't know where it is (or exactly what it is), I just ask somebody and they take me to the exact place in the store. That, along w/not having to drive into Spokane, is a true blessing.

I will never go here again. I waited in line because no one would answer the phone for the curbside delivery. When I got to the check out they had no idea who I was or what I was talking about. When I asked for some help they just sent me down an aisle. When I came back again to ask more help I asked THREE different people for help and they ignored me and kept walking. I had everyone in line looking at me like why won’t they help you. I asked one last person and spoke really loud and clear and he shook his head at me. I walked out of there crying my eyes out. The owner of the place seen everything and still did nothing.

Costly. I would drive to Spokane, rather than deal with the man behind the desk by the door. After getting my request on what my ashvacuum filter problem was, he just ignored me and left me hanging to dry. My $$ wasn't good enough? Left it to an elderly gentleman, Rocky, to deal with me. He's v understanding.

Great hometown store. Friendly and competent staff. We really appreciate having a store with this array of products in Deer Park. We recently bought a defective door lock and had to return it. There were no questions asked. Money was refunded with only a signature on a voucher.

My only problem with this store is the time it closes. It closes at 5pm. Normally people get off at 5 so either you have to take off work early to get there before closing or go on lunch break. It would be nice if they were open even an hour later. Other than that very friendly employees.

I would have given this location no stars but it wasn’t an option. I came into the deer park ace hardware wanting to return an item I bought and they acted like I was a nuisance rather than a paying customer. Manager was called to come handle the return after being treated like garbage by the clerk, just to have the manager continue the same treatment. Incompetent and incredibly off putting people. I will never spend money here again.

I always start there before ever having to go to the city, the workers are very helpful ,knowledgeable of the parts needed. More than happy to educate you on how to apply or work your problem out. Deer Park crew are the best .
