Beautiful, quiet park to get away from it all. Full hookups, primitive sites, equestrian sites, and a new shower house (not quite open yet, but really close). It's off the beaten path, but close to lots of beautiful sites. A must is the fire lookout straight up the backroad from the campground. Excellent place to see the Aroura Borealis (Northern Lights). Definitely a place to check out. The sites are extremely large accommodating most rigs.

Brand new campground! I believe we were the first group to stay in it too. The campground is spacious with a good amount of room in between camp sites. The tall trees are lush and the campground should be absolutely beautiful once some of the landscaping gets established. There is a timber frame pavilion with a stone fireplace where our group had dinner and the pavilion is completely awesome! As far as I could tell there was one bathhouse for the whole campground which has 4 bathrooms with showers built in. In the morning when 4 people shower, no one else can get in to go pee or whatever.. makes it a little bit hard. Also there is a mill nearby which operates seemingly 24/7 and the sounds of the mill kind of disturb the quiet. Still..a great campground all in all. Make sure to venture into the town of Darrington too! Sweet little town with friendly people.Restrooms: 4 really nice clean bathrooms, each with a shower.Picnic area: Fantastic pavilion!!! What a great gathering space.

Brand new, very clean and well maintained county park campgrounds. Our site had full hookups and a nice, level gravel pad. Each site has a concrete pad with sewer, water and electric in a configuration that is well designed and helpful. But, it is surprisingly expensive for a county park. $50 per night is more than we’ve paid at RV parks with many more services. Sure, the place is new and clean and has great views, but I was shocked at the price. No staff, no credit card payment system, so you have to stuff $50 in cash into an envelope and put it in the iron post.

New park so it is clean and everything works. Once the trees have grown it will be very nice. There are only porta_potties here, not only the full hookup portion of the park is open so far. We were accidentally here on opening weekend and have been back 3 more times this summer.It's nothing special, just a mostly quiet place to down the weekend. The road up to the mountain bike park can get loud with dirt bikes though.Restrooms: New real restrooms to replace the portables now that the tent side is open for business.

Beautiful campground with amazing scenery!! We think this park is off to a great start! Cannot wait to see the finished campground in another year. Tons of places to walk and ride your bike. Took a ton of beautiful pictures and wish I could share them.

Wonderful and quiet campground. Only 18 spots, full hookups. Quiet and no lights and yet only a mile to town where there is a great coffee shop. Also Whithorse trail is a close by too.

Once the park.is finished it will a stellar destination. The trails need to be connected. The large rock covering each site should be limited to parking area. Tons of potential!!

Beautiful setting, quiet and clean campground. We used it as a jumping point for hiking on the Mountain Loop Highway. Can't wait to visit again.

Excellent host, very clean.Restrooms: Locked by code access only keeps them safe and clean.Dog-friendliness: Dogs welcome on leash. Lots of room to play.
