So I was doing my normal shopping. And I kept noticing someone following me. Then I realized it was security. Like seriously I said "just cause I have face tattoos and a backpack doesn't mean I'm stealing anything. So stereotypical so I didn't end up buying anything. I just left. There's nothing worse then going somewhere and people judging you when they know absolutely nothing about you!

Overall shopping experience is pretty good. Not usually a lot of staff at check outs compared to how many registers they actually have. Mostly have to do self check out which wouldn't be so bad if when you actually need help with something the guys at the self check outs just stand there and stare at you instead of asking if you need help. When some of the staff are pulling/pushing their bins to restock, they kind of just push their way through without saying excuse me.

No deli, set up is very different than most. My cashier was very friendly and there seemed to be plenty of workers. There is room for truck parking. Need better security

While shopping at Covenington Walmart today a female Filipino employee started helping me. While helping me your employee turned her back on me and started helping another female Filipino shopper. Your employee was rude, disrespectful and needs training in customer service. This happened around noon today, April 30, 2024, in the men's department. I demand an apology or I'll start shopping at Fred Myers across the street.

It has practically almost all your need, even pinata, all shapes and colors and sizes 😂Good wine selection all in all, better in value than a couple of other brand outlet - pricewise^^The best go to grocery stores so far, imho.This establishment also has lots of self-checking out stations, two lines each in the right and left side of the usual chasier.Its restroom area is also clean, it is locked with safety pins.Although the parking lots is huge, it will be quite difficult to park at the nearest entrance, as it offers quite ample slot for disability drivers.A little tip and trick is that, always make your purchase at least a week before the holiday, any national holiday and specifically long ones, as it may put you on a super long checkout queue, the items on isles are in a quite disarray state as well 😅Imagine 30 minutes standing in line for your Christmas shopping 😁

Conveniently located and great for quick shopping needs. I love that it opens at 6AM in the morning, that saved me a day when I had to buy some stuff for my kids crafts 😀

Rude customer service! I was returning items I bought all yarn that didn't match my project and the customer service woman accepted my one return and the other she wouldn't. Neither were from her store and that was her reason why she wouldn't accept my receipt. Didn't make sense. And now I have to drive an hour to return the item and the correct store according to her , she said well u were there when u bought it you can go back and return it then. Wow

Went here on April 6, 2024 7:30 AM and needed to purchase baby formula. The formula was locked up behind a glass case with a button to call for assistance. I pressed the button, which makes no sound, and waited for 5 minutes when no one came to assist I pressed it again. Another minutes past and no one came so I held the button down for another 5 minutes. Now 2 employees show up and tell me "I need to press the button and not play with it" , to which I replied "I wasn't sure it was working since I had to wait well over 10 minutes for someone to unlock the baby formula." Very annoying to see what I assume is a manager who apparently was annoyed to do actual work. Will be notifying corporate as well.

I do in store pickup a few times a month and probably 1 out of every 10 orders has something that’s sold out. Considering I do the same amount of orders at Fred Meyer and QFC and about 99% of those orders have multiple items sold out Walmart is doing a pretty dang good job. As frustrating as it is to order something and have them pull it off the order I can live with it when it’s as seldom as it is here. I would only shop/order from Walmart if this particular one had more grocery items. The people that bring your order to the car are always pretty quick and friendly the employees inside seem rather useless and unpleasant, hence my doing online ordering. Otherwise it’s Walmart, prices are decent stock is okay and you get what you expect.

Won't take returns back bought with cash. My disabled daughter was in tears about her new bike being broken on Christmas. Don't bother buying things with cash here. Its a nasty gross location anyways. Tons of drugs and shady people in the parking lot. I feel unsafe often and I won't let my wife shop here. Staff is rude, store is dirty, carts broken, and prices are wrong.

Staff is friendly. I am able to get in and out with all my staple items at a great price. Sel check out is easy and fast. For "Walmart" this is a pretty calm, not to crowded, drama free location. In "My" experience.

Costomer service is a joke, security is a bigger joke.but hey being bagless makes it harder for the receipt checkers to know whats on the receipt and easier for someone to not scan something at self checkout so you just made it easier for someone to steal something lol but that's there problem

Had to take back some lampshades that did not fit and asked if they could send someone to lightning that i could talk to. Very good customer service!! This was the Covington location. Would recommend

I am BEYOND tired of having to prove I've purchased what I've purchased at Wal-Mart! 🙄 I shop, then I self-check, then I have to pass through a security checkpoint. Come ON! I understand loss prevention, but I will be taking my business to Target where I am trusted that what I have purchased is what I have purchased. Either invest in cashiers or invest in better security, but I'm NOT a Walmart employee, and I will not scan and bag my purchases (because they NEVER have enough cashiers, and Christopher in Covington is a joke. He seemed like he was working at gunpoint. 😒) and then be made to prove I did the job of 2 full-time employees. I'm sure Walmart will continue to survive without my coins and I'll pay a bit more at Target, but as my Momma used to say, "You get what you pay for." 🤷🏾‍♀️

This is probably the worst Walmart I've ever dealt with. There are always open products on the shelves, products won't be placed under the right price tag, there's never more than 2 cashiers at a time and some of the ones we've encountered are just rude. This store is constantly being stolen from with no repercussions, it takes them at LEAST 15-20 minutes to get to whatever door a thief walked out from, usually the side doors! We have seen thieves WALK out of the side doors with carts full of stuff and you don't see a worker come out til way after they're gone. But yet they don't put their security guy over there or anything, its like they don't care. We spend well over $100 for ONE bag of groceries, not even a full bag, just to find out the groceries we got werent what we thought we were paying for. We've also had their security guy follow us around the entire store, for no reason. The stockers are messy and forever leave their top carts in the middle of the aisle (moreso the evening/closing shift) and putting pallets in the middle of the aisle instead of the bigger spaces outside of the aisles. This store is atrocious in every aspect aside from a few very sweet workers. Do better or shut it down. Honestly.

They racially profile and don’t care if stopping to check that one black person paid means that 10 white people just walk out of the store not needing to show a receipt. If you have someone checking receipts at the door, you check all receipts not just select people.

Wow, update 7/11/23 - thank you to the store for moving all the carts out of this area, we can now use the bike racks as intended.This is a well-run location. The point of sale has been greatly improved by the self-checkout stations. They seem to do a fine job of crime prevention as well, lots of cameras and door staff. The only thing I must ask is that the staff start leaving a few feet on either side of the bike racks. They're blocked by spare shopping carts and the only access point is essentially a smoke break area for the staff. Not pleasant breathing that in. It's a big enough rack, just leave some space for customers and employees to use it, please!

Covington Walmart is seriously the best Walmart around I feel like. Even though it's not a super Walmart they still have a lot and most items are always in stock and not picked through like a lot of locations. I'm not sure about you, but for me at other locations like Renton I get cart rage when trying to maneuver through all the people. And trying to do it while having your children trail behind you is a complete fail because of it being so packed. So I much rather go to the Covington location at any given time!

Got to love everything you find in Walmart!!Always check prices just like in a store but they have great outdoor items from outdoor products and other things you wouldn’t find elsewhere like an eagle onesie or maybe around Christmas time you’re looking for a Christmas sweater!Lots to choose from

I think Walmart is underrated in some ways. The company needs to improve in terms of product quality and trying to offer far more biodegradable and "buy it rarely and have it last well" products. However, this store does appear to be relatively neat, well tended, the self checkouts are always functioning well, etc. I'll be back, though I'd like to see Walmart flexing its retail-giant muscles and pushing product manufacturers to design more thoughtful (for the world) products. Overall, in other words, this store is a good Walmart experience for the customer.

I just absolutely love the Covington Walmart tonight I had this incredible employee Terrence who of course offered to go above and beyond the employees there always make you feel like you are valued and that they are happy that you are there it doesn't matter that they have to work harder or search more or do more because you're there and they're grateful and they love their jobs. Kudos to the manager there for finding such amazing individuals to run his store. On that note I have to give kudos to another really fabulous employee there her name is Karen my daughter absolutely adores her my daughter is 9 years old and autistic and very selective about who she will interact with she looks forward to going to the store just hoping that she will get to visit with Karen for a few minutes and Karen always takes time to address her and make her feel special.

It's Walmart! This one is fairly clean. Sometimes I have found discounted expensive items (DSLR camera) that was cheaper at Walmart than anywhere else. It's great to use the online app and pickup. Pretty convenient.

Smelly, rude and not one of their employees mind their manners or they business yell at the top of there lungs so I can let another rude set of dirty hands aka employee dig thru my bags I just paid for and had 2 other workers dig thru ,more sticky nasty fingers. Thanks for covering my brand new items in more germs before I can even use my products,,
