We’ve stayed in the both the cabins and have also done tent camping. Quickly becoming our favorite camping spot in eastern WA.For us, an overall better experience than a state run campground like Sun Lakes because it feels more like an intimate, family run and private experience compared to others. The staff are all amazing, super kind, treat you like family more than guests and work very hard to keep this place clean, sanitary and ready for every stay. They frequently check restrooms all throughout the day to make sure they’re clean and ready for use. Grass is always watered, green and trash free. There’s a store with anything you need, boat rentals, hot showers and a spacious place to camp whether it’s tent, RV or cabin. If you’re looking to get away from the busy, hectic state-run camp grounds, but still keep the full amenities of camping, then give this place a try. You can’t beat the hospitality, scenery, amenities and experience of this place. It gets better each time.Rooms: (Cabins) Clean and homey. Has a stove, refrigerator/ freezer, beds, cooking pots and utensils, showers and running water. 100% would stay again.Nearby activities: Fishing from shore, boat/ paddle board, kayak rentals, nearby caves to explore down the road 5-10 min, Sun Lakes state campground down the road 5-6 min, Super Walmart is 30 min away in Ephrata, Soap Lake, Deep Lake and Banks Lake all close by 10-20 min.Safety: This place does not really attract rowdy crowds. Family friendly, couples, small groups are common. You feel safe with a coded gate to get inside, people are friendly but also respect your space as they want the same experience. Life jackets are provided for rentals.Walkability: Whole campsite is walking-friendly, store, bathrooms/ showers are within 10-200 feet. The whole property is pretty much lake front.Food & drinks: Store has cold energy drinks, Ice cream, alcohol, snacks, camping/ fishing supplies and more. Reasonable prices too.

Excellent service and hospitality from Johnny and the Staff. When we arrived we had a normal campsite and I asked if it was possible to move to a waterfront spot. They immediately moved us to the water. My girlfriend and I felt very welcomed and taken care of. They checked in to make sure we were enjoying ourselves, they brought us fresh fruit and offered us gear for fishing. A nice quiet campground with an awesome view and even better staff. We will absolutely be coming back as much as we can!

Updated review for anyone who saw my recent post. We had a great experience there, and a bit of miscommunication upon checkout that resulted in a low review from me--within 12 hours we heard from the owners and we appreciate them reaching out and working to resolve the issue. We loved the campsite, we loved the hosts that were there and had a beautiful experience, and now that we have heard compassion and understanding from the owners we are happy to change our review back to the 5 stars I had intended to leave.Great place for kids, fishing, boating, and very comfortable beds!

My friend and I spontaneously stayed here as part of a week long trip and we are so glad we chose this as our first stop! We stayed in one of the waterfront cabins and it was amazing. The location is beautiful, the hosts were extremely helpful and kind, and the accommodations in the cabin and for water activities during the day went above and beyond expectations. We will definitely be coming back to check out the domes.Noteworthy details: Tent camping is windy as an fyi :)

This is a wonderful campground with an amazing view on Blue Lake, glamping domes, boat launch, tent sites, RV sites, kayak rentals, a general store, a laundry room and clean restrooms. The staff is genuinely friendly and caring. Thank you Johnny and Angy and staff. The best in the business. I will return. A hidden gem in the Coulee City area. Thank you for the kindness and hospitality on Day 14 of my run across America

We stopped here for one night during a road trip and were absolutely blown away! The views were stunning, the service was amazing - everyone was so kind!! - , all the accommodations were so cool. We stayed in a cabin and it was perfect! We will definitely be booking the glamping domes next. Had the best time and can’t wait to come back!Noteworthy details: Exactly what we were looking for. So happy we found this spot!!!

I’m conflicted - the hospitality fromJohnny, Esmeralda and family was 5 stars! They tried their very best to make our stay wonderful, and we loved getting to know them! The bad: WiFi was advertised, but non-existent. Normally not an issue but I booked precisely depending on WiFI for one work call. We needed to specifically ask for a BBQ, propane, a heater, and some utensils (website could have more details). The shared kitchen area is in ruins so we ended up doing dishes in the bathroom sink, which had a very strong sulphuric smell. Chiggers left welts all across my feet for weeks.Other than that, it’s beautiful location with warm hospitality! We stayed in a dome, but would consider staying in a camping site if we had our own gear.

The staff here at this trailer park are very nice. They are young but work hard. We rented a cabin for the labor day weekend. Lets just say the cabin was really gross. When we walked in we found the cabin dirty, and full of flies. There were fly traps and fly swatters all over the place. The water pressure is not existent and it smells of sulfur when people shower. Paying $300 a night I feel like I got ripped off. Lets just say I would never return to this place. Also the internet is worthless it doesnt work anywhere on the property. Cell phone service didnt work their either.Im sure if you have your own rv/trailer it would better. To me this style of vacationing in gross conditions are not for me. I would rate the cabin at a one star. Ill spend my money elsewhere next labor day!

I've been going here since 2000 when I was a kid with different owners, loved the original owners but the new owners have changed a lot of things for the better. We just went for the 4th of July in spot 26, I can honestly say the service and kindness of Jonny and his family /staff is the best we've ever had. The girls in the office we're amazing but I didn't catch their name. They were so accomodating and helpful. They didn't sell flower but gave us some for free so we could finish our breakfast, sold us worms at 8pm even though they were closed, answered phone at 11 PM when I was planning on just leaving voicemail. We will definitely be back!! Only downside is it can get extremely windy without much notice, we had Verizon which is enough for texting or a phone call but not for browsing YouTube or something similar. My wife has att which seemed to work better. We love Bluelake!!

I have been there in July. And i can say that this is the best resort i could ever have. It was my husband's birthday and I wanted to give him a surprise. I called the owner about the decoration, and instantly he ordered all the decorations from Amazon. They had less staff but still they managed to do it for me. And i am so glad that I choose the best place to stay over. They had all the facilities like fridge, microwave, AC, heater, fancy vanity mirror, grill. They complimentary give us beer to cheer up for birthday night. The staff is helping, we had mostly conversation with the manager and he is polite and kind helpful. We enjoyed a lot there. And i would definitely plan again for vacation. See you soon blue lake resort 💙

This is a beautiful campground and cabin rental resort. It feels like everything is fairly new built, our rooms had a spa tub and deck overlooking the blue lake. A great breeze in the morning and a beautiful view of the Canyon, and blue lake just as described on the website. We had a lot of fun by doing boating, fishing, swimming all week. Wonderful robes and comfortable bedding made for a relaxing stay. The store was pretty good but not a big store. The staff was super nice and helpful.

We didn’t have anywhere to go in the middle of the night with our kiddos after getting caught in unexpected traffic for hours. We called and not only at 11:30pm did they answer but got us a spot! After we arrived and we’re unpacking our dogs locked our truck while it was running getting stuck inside. Luckily and thank goodness Jesse not only answers the phone again but had a tool to unlock our vehicle and save our puppy dogs! He’s our hero! Because we didn’t get our kiddos to bed until 1:30 after our ordeal Jesse let us know that check out was whenever we needed, absolutely gracious of him. It was great to not be treated just like a dollar sign. We absolutely appreciate the service we got from this place. When we awoke we had breath taking views of the cliffs right on the lake!!! Recommend them!!

Had a waterfront spot. They don’t have sewer, only water and electric. Pretty view of the lake and easy to fish from shore. Almost no one there keeps their dogs on leashes. Our 7 pound morkie was mauled by two large dogs. Got the same old song and dance about “my dogs don’t usually do that”. We told the office staff and they did come talk to people which always causes problems. Their problem becomes your problem. No one leashed up their dogs even after office talked to them. Very frustrating since everyone signs an agreement which includes keeping your dogs on leashes. Very expensive per night for an ok place we thought. We’ve paid alot less for premium rv parks with lots of amenities. Wouldn’t stay there again.

Such a great place. I took my kids here for vacation after not being able to vacation in a couple years and we had such an awesome experience. The resort has everything that you need. Playground, store, docks, boat and even jet ski rentals. Also, the cabins are AMAZING. I highly recommend Blue Lake Resort!!!

We loved it, staff was very helpful. The park was very clean. The kids had a blast. We kayaked on the lake, There was mosquitoes which we expected because we are by the water. We brought bug spray and was fine. We left the campsite as clean as before we got there and would hope that you do too if you go. Check the wind speed if using a pop up tent trailer because it really cranked one night!

We stayed here for the Memorial Day Weekend and truly enjoyed this campsite. Hosts were very nice and accommodating, did their best to keep the place clean, bathrooms and showers were clean and tidy. Beautiful view of the lake, easy to paddle board right out of the campsite. Fire pits available with wood for purchase. Highly recommend for tent camping (or RV).

We stayed in one of the glamping tents. It was clean and right on the water. Friendly and accommodating staff. Bathrooms were clean and you can tell they are continuing to update and improve their facilities. One thing to note is the wind at night is or can be intensely strong/ loud. If going back I would check forecast / bring earplugs. Overall was a nice getaway.

Wow this place is so family friendly! We loved it! Just so nice, the other campers were very chill and nice too. Safe, clean, convenient family camp ground, very pet friendly. My 7 year old grandson caught over 10 fish too. Great swimming and boating (non&motor types there) Love the lake front sites! There's even wind so kite/windsurfing/sail boating seems possible.

A beautiful place where we can get lost. Cabins are well designed , especially the lake view white tent cabin. When we wake up it’s a beautiful view from the bed. Management is so friendly and helpful. I will definitely visit again

Where do I begin? I'll start by saying I normally do not leave lengthy negative reviews. There were, however, a few positives:1) The campground itself was clean and kept up pretty well.2) The lake area was a little small but all in all was great for the kids to get in the water, there was a dock. We enjoyed playing at the lake.3) The views around us were awesome and the stars were of course, beautiful at night.Other than that:-We made reservations for 8 people (4 of which are children under 9) and was told by the lady working in the office that if my family got there first we could just tell the office the name of our friends (whose name the reservation was in). We get there and the camper (number 14) was not the one that we were told we'd get. We let that go and worked it out anyway.- The smell that would intermittently come throughout the day in the camper and right outside was atrocious.- The toilet was leaking from the back.- The oven and stove were not working.- The camper was not clean when we arrived, the floors were dirty, there were cobwebs and dead insects in the corners of the camper and on all the windows.- The drawer and cupboard was broken, etc.My friend talked with the management after the first night and the owner came and tried to fix the leaking sewage hookup and said we could stay in the camper next door the following night for free to make up for the mix up with campers and other issues. We thought that was a great gesture and appreciated it.While the next camper (number 12) was bigger and the stove and oven worked, the electricity in half of the camper did not, the AC did not work worth a darn for about 6 hours, the toilet was grimy and had obviously not been cleaned in ages, the drawers were all broken and the so-called "bunk bed" in the 2nd bedroom that folds down did not have a mattress- it was just a piece of plywood. I have added pictures of camper #12.As if that weren't enough when we went to check out the office lady said that she never knew there were that many people in our group (when we'd even called it in AND included that information in our original reservation) then proceeded to charge us $10 per person per night over 4 which was Not disclosed to us beforehand even though she tried to say that she told us. We would have just found our own place to stay if we'd known that. And when my friend told them the extra charges were not a part of the agreement they had the audacity to say "Well we gave you three other camper for free the second night you shouldn't be complaining." So really what they did is try to make up for their "loss" even though the other camper would have been empty anyway. The only "surprise" there was on our end for them is my nephew decided to come at the last minute. I would have been 100% okay with paying an extra fee for him since he wasn't part of the original plan.If you have your own camper the campground is nice but other than that, I'd avoid this place.

We have been to this resort last weekend. We have stayed in newly built cabin. Cabin was very clean and had all the amenities. Full kitchen. Resort is owned by new owner now and very well maintained. I have 15 and 10 yrs old girls. They had super fun. lake is just front of the cabin. It’s shallow enough for kids to play. Best part was motor boat and Kayak. Owner had kayak and motor boat for guest for free. My girls loved it. There is a deck area to jump in a lake. And they had life jackets for guests. Very convenient location to soap lake downtown which has plenty of food option. We went to coulee dam as well which was 40 mins drive from there. Driving was beautiful.Rupali

We made reservations far in advance for a holiday weekend. New owners bought the place, canceled all existing reservations under the guise of 'closing for the summer to remodel'. Then almost immediately opened reservations back up at 3 times the price. The same weekend we had reservations for that they had canceled, was re-opened for others to make reservations at a higher price. Meanwhile, they left us with no opportunity to find another place at the last minute. At least if they had been telling the truth about closing for the summer and had not been open the holiday weekend we had booked, that would've been better than lying. I won't support a business that operates like this.

we frequented this place for years and loved it's reasonable prices ($30-$35 night all sites including waterfront). But new owners came in and tripled the rates to $75-$90 for anything near the water, $45-$60 for everything in the field. Far more expensive than other resorts on the same lake (which are $40)waterfront with trees, so we've been forced to take our money elsewhere. Sad they're not pricing comparable rates for the region, they're losing all their established customers, and when all the newbees return their RV's and the fad is over, they'll wish us old dogs were still going there.... just sad. ...to add, their explanation is they've gone All INCLUSIVE, and don't charge for pets, laundry, boats, extra vehicles....Items we NEVER had to pay for in the past since we never used those items, so now we'd pay more for items we'll never use...and yes, $90 was the fixed rate for waterfront that we paid $35 for the year prior with old owners. Overpriced, unfair pricing, not comparable for the region, chasing away previous loyal customers
