Store itself was not bad. However the bearded gentleman that works behind the counter really needs to learn normal human interaction basics. The pumps here are 20 years old and I guess not able to be adjusted so it is done by gallons not dollars. However they probably should tell customers that. When my wife questioned it the man behind the counter flew outside and began to curse at me in front of my three year old daughter. When told he needed to stop cussing he flipped my whole family off and stormed back into the store. I personally will never stop here again after this unacceptable treatment over a simple question.

Nice little market that carries just about anything you could need if you're camping or staying nearby! I went in for a half gallon of milk and left with the milk, some postcards, a couple of crystal/mineral specimens, a bottled frappucino and a surprise toy bag😃🤣👏Lots of beverages, snacks and food items and fun souvenirs!

I was working around the area temporarily and I'd go here for gas and snacks! Guys at the counter were always chill and helpful. Kudos to the red beard dude , you're a life saver. I love WeeWee the cat 😺🤙🏽🤙🏽

The people who work at/own this store are amazing! I had some car trouble and they went out of their way to do whatever they could to help. If you are going through Cougar, please stop and buy something. Even if you don't really need anything. This place deserves your patronage. If I could give more than 5 stars, I would.

This place is the balls - we met this guy in the parking lot and he showed us his fish that he just caught in his trunk, like maybe 6 lbs! He was stoked. We then went in and bought all the goodies we needed to make an excellent meal, the fellow at the counter was awesome. Bought ingredients to make a better meal than the Cougar Grill across the street who didn’t have the time of day for us.

Was up camping near by Cougar this weekend and stopped in for a few items. The young man working behind the counter was Extremely unwelcoming and made very snarky remarks to me multiple times within the maybe ten minutes I was there looking around. Then he verbally questioned me at checkout on some of the items I bought in a super condescending way implying I was dumb and didn’t know what I needed for my own campsite. Would recommend stopping in at The Lone Fir Resort that is the right before this store as the gals working in the gift shop/store were amazing!

The only store I'll ever go to in Cougar. For some reason, somebody opened another store in this small small community. What's the point. All my life coming over here, I've only gone to the reliable Cougar store. Always friendly, always there when I need them.

My brand new motorcycle broke down at their store, they were extremely helpful and went out of there way to help me get a tow truck to save me. since I had no cell phone service and had to make several call son their business phone. Really appreciate their help!

its a fun old school gas station where you can buy bait, cheetos and a bigfoot sticker. staff is nice, nothing fancy, and sure ain't no quick trip, but thats sorta the point.
