I love it here, my family actually owns one of the cabins out of the hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of cabins down there. The whole community is nice. But in the summer and spring you can walk up to the store or pizza place and get yourself a treat or some delicious pizza. Seriously, some of the best pizza I’ve ever had.

This is a fantastic campground. One of the better ones I've been to. It's owned by PacifiCorp (like Beaver Bay and Swift Forestry Camp) but run by American Land and Liesure sho it eas well kept. The bathroom had a shower and were clean by campground standards. Availability? It's crazy popular. It's also close in, 40 minutes from Vancouver. It's a small campground. You need to reserve wayyyy ahead of time. Forget about the weekend if you want to drop in. I had to make a reservation in February to get a spot in August. I got spot 39, which is one 'on' the water (at least it usually is). It's one of several that have access to the reservoir. I could only get it in the middle of the week Tuesday to Friday because it was booked solid the rest of the week until the campground closes Labor Day. The price. $23 a night. The other campsites are pretty spread out, but you're still close to your neighbors. Some sites are more secluded, but most are close together. Sizes are generous. There was a burn ban so no campfires. The water level was way down (at least 50 feet) so the water was quite a walk from the campsite. It was still nice, but you'll be fighting the wind for a few hours on some sites on the water. It's definitely worth a stay. I usually drive a couple hours or more to campgrounds, so it was nice leaving the campground at 1:20 and being home by 2:45!

Very reasonable price, very nice people, BUT.... MAKE SURE YOU RESERVE A SPOT... DONT do what I did, and think you can just go up there and hope 4 the best. The campground last night was completely booked solid... but man that was a GREAT idea... and just one night, it was l8ke I NEEDED it.

Great view, close to many water access points. The water front area here is pretty rocky. You do need to drive to go find a place to hang out by the water. However they were full online and I showed up and they were able to accommodate me. We will be back next year

We loved it. My husband use to stay there growing up. This was my first time. I really enjoyed it. The place it so clean. Easy access to the Lake, trails, and restrooms. There's a playground for the kids too. Unfortunately the ramp was closed but there were other ones available within 5 mins. The Camp Hostesses were wonderful, especially Patrick and his wife. You won't meet better, more down to Earth people. Thank you

I would have given this review four stars or even 4.5 if the camp enforced it's quiet time rules. The campground is located on a bay so noise is going to carry and its a campground- there is noise right? I certainly make noise and expect others will too. The campsites are set up so as to be very friendly with your neighbors, which is appealing to large groups of friends and families. We happened to be in the middle of two such groups who were having a great time with their friends and families until well after midnight, one group even ran their generator until 0100! I ended up leaving my tent and sleeping in my car because the noise from the campers was so loud. The campground itself is nice, clean and the facilities were clean and well stocked. There's a trail to Beaver Bay within the campground and it's well maintained and a nice walk. Ape caves are nearby as is access to some hiking trails. I would stay here again, but I would bring ear plugs for sleeping.

Magic. Great site hosts. We ran the battery low in our vehicle. They jumped us with portable battery. Close to Vancouver and wonderful.Fun place to take a photo of your dog and a Bald Eagle.

Good views and not too crowded campground on a lakeshore. For some reason, they do not permit to drink alcohol inside. However everyone we saw did just that :)The only concern is that gate is closed at 9Pm, which may be a problem if you are driving from Seattle.

I thoroughly enjoyed staying here we were camping in a tent and there was ample room for our tent and camp gear. The bathrooms were very clean with showers that were very clean and hot water. The staff who ran the place were professional and friendly.

This was such a cool place to go to. So affordable, super friendly, they have wifi. Their spaces are so huge. We had a really fun experience here. It was our first time going here and we want to camp here in the future.

A great cozy tent only campground. This is the perfect weekend retreat. There are a couple great beaches to play on or launch kayaks from.Be aware, the low level is very low this spring (2023) to the boat launch isn’t idea and the dock is still about 25 feet out of the waterline. For showers you’ll need to use the main facility near the Group campground as the interior facility doesn’t have working hot water (spring 2023)

Nice place if you like being 10 ft. Away from next site. Campground host acts Like its the best and seems happy to tell you their booked . To bad for me. Just don't understand why company's hire people with no personality or people skills. I give it a -1 star.

Camp host's were awesome, campground was well maintained and the sites were great. If you can grab one of the lake side sites you might get one of the best sites in WA!

I love this place! The scenery is beautiful and the camp host were very hospitable. Clean showers and bathrooms. Handicap camp sites and parking. Very clear clean lake water. Trails to hike and minutes from the ape caves. In case you forgot anything cougar store is just around the corner for ALL your needs. The only down fall is the boat launch there is never accessible because of low water. If you want to launch your water craft you have to drive around to Beaver Bay or Yale Park which is free to launch with your camp site ticket.

Great spot for a swim if you're only passing thru. $3 per vehicle for day use. The lake is a beauitful clear blue and surprisingly warm. Plenty of room to spread out. Watching the sailboats dotting the lake was relaxing as the kids found a submerged tree stump that made for a perfect diving platform.
