I have stayed here numerous times and LOVE it! We usually have a group of friends with 2 to 3 trailers and it is always a fun and relaxing time. The bathrooms are large and clean as well as the property. The spaces are large so you feel like you have some privacy without others too close. The staff is super friendly and helpful and the owner is very hands on. Good people that have become good friends!

The staff were welcoming and friendly when we stayed the first week of June. We loved the cleanliness of the area and buildings. They have the cleanest and nicest bathroom facilities we have ever experienced. Quick access to forest and trails through the park. And a nice dog wash in the facilities that made pup clean up easy. Definitely will be staying again next time we are in the area.

We just returned from a week-long visit. Be aware that if you've never been here before, you have to be careful not to drive past it. The sign says The Driftwood RV Resort, but you may be expecting Copalis River RV Park. Also, the sign is somewhat obscured by bushes depending on which way you are driving in from. It is across the road from Echoes of the Sea.We reserved three spaces total for our group. One with a river view, and two in the wooded area in the back. It was a really beautiful location. We enjoyed wood fires each night. Wood can be purchased onsite, and $10 gets you a good sized bundle delivered to your site. There is an old community building with Foosball, and a laundry. There is an old bathhouse, but also a second new building with private toilet/shower rooms. There is even a pet bath, just be prepared as the machines had a sign that notes $10 cash.During our visit there were eagles flying above, a deer ran through our site...and we had an unplanned visit from crows and raccoons. Do not leave any food or garbage out unattended.I'd recommend this RV campground. There are several sites for RV and tents, the key card gate for entry adds security. I'd like to return again in the future. There are still a lot of things in the greater area I'd love to explore!

My wife and I stayed there for a weekend getaway and it was good. It was clean and well taken care of. Full hook ups and good wifi if your near the pole. No phone signal at all (T-Mobile) and no beach access only a river near by. The only down side we faced was we were near some tent campers that got kinda loud and they didn't keep their dog on a leash. We will go back.

This resort is amazing! The sites are separated by trees so you are not on top of your neighbor. It was very quiet and peaceful. The landscape was very well kept and clean. The bathrooms and showers look they have been recently renovated and it's nicer than my bathroom at home!! There are hiking trails which go to the Copalis River. This is our new go to spot when we go to the Ocean Shores area. I almost didn't want to give this review because I know once the word gets out it will book up fast!!!

Beautiful smaller camp ground. With trails next to the river and a very short drive (could walk if motivated. 😉) to the beach.Great hospitality from the host. Improvements being made regularly. Would love to come back to visit from Colorado and camp here again!

We stayed in pull-through spot #1. We liked the hook ups, and the pretty landscaping next to our spot. We didn’t like that we were basically right up against the highway, so we would opt for a different site if we were to return. The RV park is well maintained and the staff were very friendly. We were close to lots of beaches and enjoyed the local pub for a bite to eat and cocktails. The drive-thru espresso stand down the road was great, and we just enjoyed the Copalis and surrounding areas very much. We had drama a couple spots over, from one of the park’s longer term residents, but the local EMT got her off to the hospital and she returned later that day seemingly no worse for the wear.

We love this so much!! It is our new coastal destination. The hookups and facilities are prime, the spots are nestled in the trees so you get that camping feel I am often missing at other parks, the owners offer Nordstrom quality service, couldn't be nicer and more helpful and the quick walk down to the mouth of the Copalis and short 4 mi. drive down to Roosevelt Beach are stunning. There is also a great trail network that winds in and out of the forest, it's just beautiful. Super dog-friendly, which I also loved. We can't make it back soon enough!

Beautiful campground. Well maintained grounds and updated hookups were nice. New restrooms and showers are the nicest I've seen for a campground. No worries leaving to site see, as the park is gated, we felt secure while away from our RV. The staff is friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to assist us, we had problems before arriving, very late, but they gladly found a solution for us. We were grateful for that, and enjoyed our time there immensely. Highly recommend this park for your next trip to the area. You won't be disappointed.

Had a reservation at another campground that was absolutely awful, we left and drove to driftwood hoping they had an open camp site. They did and we were so happy we made the drive to check. The property is absolutely picturesque! You can really notice how the owners have put time and effort into the details of their campsite. The bathrooms were clean and functioning, hot water and good plumbing. The host was really accommodating. Would definitely recommend anyone stopping through to stay here!

We have been coming here for the last few years. Watched the changes and improvements happening and are pleased each time we go there. Its a nice quiet park with large roomy sites for trailers etc. The staff are friendly and helpful, the owner has always been very easy to work with and I just love coming back every year for my relaxing visit.

This place is great! We've been here three times now and we will continue to return year after year! The park is about fifteen minutes from the busy tourist town of Ocean Shores so you can go do the whole beach town experience then return to the peace and quiet of this awesome little park! It's nice and quiet with a few permanent / semi permanent residents in the central section. In my personal opinion the preferred RV/ trailer sites are 6 through 10 then 18 through 23.The park also borders State land with decent network of walking / bicycle trails that wind through a gorgeous Forest of Sitka Spruce!I highly recommend Driftwood RV Resort and Campground!!

We enjoyed this clean and pretty camp spot. We have a 22ft RV and we stayed for 4 nights. The spots are spacious and there are trees in between each so as to add some privacy. There are also nice trails that you can trek along Copalis River. It is also gated which is nice. They also have brand new, free shower rooms and bathrooms that are really nice. There is nothing close by but a general store about a mile away and a 2mile away beach front.

Such a beautiful camp ground! The owner Charlie goes above and beyond to make his guests feel welcome. He offers free firewood with your stay and from what i can see there is all new hooks ups for your trailer. Super close to beach access and Charlie knows the area very well giving excellent recommendations. We will definitely be staying here from now on!! Thank you for the wonderful weekend away 😊

Best campground on Washington coast. Such a beautiful setting. Impeccably maintained. The bathrooms are to die for and I'm super picky. Wifi worked well. I was able to work from the trailer. We were there during off season so not much competition. Verizon cell had only one bar of service.

While the weather on the WA coast is less than ideal in January/February... we loved our two weeks at The Driftwood/Copalis River RV Park. Large, level campsites, gravel, clean and well-maintained, with new hook-ups and amenities. Scenic trail access to a gorgeous sunset over the river every night. Close to beaches & fun in Ocean Shores. Whimsical art and handmade, decorated birdhouses throughout the park. Super nice staff!

Cute little spot with spacious sites. We stayed in 21 which overlooks the river. The sites have a fire pit with wooden chairs and stools that are sturdy and cute. Wood is free for guests. The bathroom needs repairing, but since we had full hookup, we didn't need to use it. The camp host, Frank is one of the nicest, most helpful people I've ever met. We definitely will come back!

This is my first experience camping in an RV park and I could not be happier! I have a little Chalet AFrame and there's plenty of space between RV's so I don't feel at all boxed in. The facilities are clean and very nice. Copalis River is a very pretty place to visit and explore. The people are friendly and eager to help. I highly recommend 👍🏕️

We loved this park! You are not right on the beach but when we visited sites on the beach we realized that those are much less desirable. This camp is secure, clean, well spaced, wonderful facilities, great trails with beautiful huge trees and exceptional owner/staff. After seeing the other campgrounds, we will come back to this one every visit.

We have stayed here 3 times and plan on coming back many more times. Best service from the friendly, helpful staff. Landscaping is great! Charlie has taken an old run down park and turned it into the best RV Park! Your not sardine camping here! Nice wooded nature trail to walk or sit in some nicely placed chairs and look out onto the Copalis river.

Where do I start? My family and I reserved a tent spot here last minute and they were very accommodating. The prices are great and the people who work here are AMAZING! Very nice, genuine people. We were asked how we were doing both by the owner and the woman who helped us to our site multiple times both very very sweet people! The grounds are great and only to be improved! Everyone there was very nice and all the other campers very respectful and quiet! Tent sites are amazing, great seclusion in each one. The trails are great, my daughter and dog had a blast running up and down the trails over and over again! It was the first camping trip for both of them :) The sunsets beautiful out at the end of the trail. Beautiful spot to star gaze at night. Bathroom was immaculate, always clean! They have a sink to wash dishes along with washer and dryer that takes quarters! Only 7 miles from ocean shores which is great even though my family and I loved it there in copalis more :) Great little grocery store right down the way that has anything you need! We are already planning our next trip back and cannot wait. Thank you very much to you all for making it such a great experience! Just what the family and I needed. Will see you again soon!

Great place to camp!! The Owners are very nice, it's dog friendly, quiet and close to town without being full of tourists. Sites have a decent amount of space between them. The new bathhouse is beautiful, and the water pressure in the showers is far better than other campgrounds.

Lovely place to stay! Amenities are really nice too, having the option to do laundry was handy! Location is nice, not too far away from town and the beach was is very convenient! My one con of this campground was the Chevy truck that sounded like it was straight piped or had its exhaust cut off. It was very noisy and vibrated the trailer sometimes as it drove by. Other than that I recommend this campground!

We stayed here during the summer. Charlie is a great host. We saw him go out of his way to accommodate people who came off the street even though he was full. Somehow he found a place for them. The campground is quiet, clean and the people are friendly. Can't wait to return to see all the new improvements, expansion and landscaping
