The store is generally dirty, understocked and overpriced. There is always a nasty smell coming from the double doors to the back area. There is often bad produce, like literally rotten, on display. Two stars because the employees are nice.

Probably the best overall grocery store option in the Eastern part of the county... Although there aren't very many to choose from.

I hate what this store has become! I was just in there to buy dinner and they had good prices advertised but I couldn't get those prices because I didn't have a phone that is discrimination. If you don't have a phone for some reason or another and not everyone can afford a phone or have it everywhere they go and if that be the case you can't get the cheaper prices so sorry guys if you can't afford a phone then you have to pay more for your food at this store I guess not everyone deserves to get discounted prices in this awful time when food is already at outrageous prices. I won't be shopping at what use to be a friendly home town store.

I love visiting different Red Apple Markets and Thriftway stores. Each have their own flavor. This Red Apple is a gem. It's old, but I love that. It feels like a grocery store. There are relics all over, old security CRT monitor still on the ceiling, classic section/aisle signage, and any item you could really want. Nice little deli section and hot food. Not nearly as expensive as I was expecting, chicken was a good price, as was pork and some beef. The staff was friendly and helpful. Produce was displayed nicely.I miss small town markets like more and more, I gave a local Red Apple near me (Dominic's) but I can't wait to visit Albert's again when I drive through to the mountains.

My first impression as I came into the store was of the worst run down, dirty Dollar store ever. The floor was terrible, the place was dirty, and the prices, well these days we can't really comment on prices as they are ridiculous everywhere. I would not feel safe buying meat or produce here. I am glad there is a store for the locals but I think they deserve a clean store at the minimum.

Super friendly staff. Great selection considering it’s in a super small town. We went in a few times for what we needed and always found new things to try. A bit $$$. Recommend for sure!!The parking lot is a bit weird… hard to see the lines.

Convenient little store with everything you need. Could use some cleaning and upkeep, but it is what it is. Very nice employees! And the best part—no masks! Love to see people living normally again. Thanks!

Just had an attempted charge of 17.50 for a six pack of Elysian. I'm spending easily 800 dollars per month here and that is over. The checker told me that's tax on a 12.00 six pack.I won't bother you with the details.I'll just save money, and buy gas Mt. Vernon.

Red Apple is the only grocery store for 35 miles. The prices are high. The store is outdated and well warn but it's pretty clean. The staff are pretty nice and helpful if you ask. It's clear that they work hard and doesn't seem to be much turn over with employees.

This IGA store is almost small, but not quite, and it has a great selection of all the basics, plus a section of fishing tackle. Best of all, their prices are the same as you'd find at bigger chains in the city. This store has a GREAT location...it's right on the highway, easy in-and-out, and good parking. There are a few shops nearby, 1 being the best place for coffee and ice-cream.

I went to purchase fruits and vegetables at the Red Apple yesterday. 5 out of the 7 things I needed at the store looked completely haggard, with three different vegetables having mold and rot on them. Unfortunately the quality of this store is going down. Really nice folks working up front, but the produce manager or whoever is in charge of produce needs to be sat down and talked to. Your standards are disgustingly low. I dont want to be one of the locals who will not go to Red Apple for anything ever but its getting to that point.

This is the only grocery store in the town of concrete, everything was ridiculously overpriced, but since we were camping and had decided to buy our food near our campsite, we were stuck paying for it. The service was all rude, which seemed odd, it wasn't one rude clerk, it was every single person, employee and other customers. I've never been anyplace where the whole population seemed so unfriendly and unwelcoming.Next time I'll buy all my supplies in shoreline and avoid the town.

-Scathing Review- The owner of Albert's Red Apple Market has used their rural location and their monopoly as the only grocer within a significant distance to charge well above fair market value for all of the products in this store. To put to bed the obvious argument that as a rural grocer it costs more to deliver to this location and as a result the costs of the products must be more, is not accurate. The small increase in the cost of delivery of products from wholesale distributors does not justify the 50% to 100% markup of many essential products in the store. The owner of this location is obviously using their monopoly to gouge the community. A community who many of its members live at or well below the poverty line and suffer from a lack of education and opportunity and while this statement is not true for all members of the community it is true of a significant portion of it. People who may not have the means or the financial ability to travel to the nearest grocer which for some is over an hour away, forced to shop at this store and have their meager finances consumed by a predatory business.Next time you shop at this location and see the prices, keep this in mind.As for the employees of this location, I have found them to all be helpful and exactly who you would hope to meet while shopping in a rural community.I highly doubt that their paycheck and benefits reflect the extreme prices being charged at this location and they themselves are just as much a victim of a predatory employer as the community is a victim of a predatory and monopolistic essential business.

The prices were very high, while the interior was dirty and very run down. None of the staff and half the customers weren't wearing masks. The atmosphere felt very unwelcoming. We just moved to the area from Seattle and will make the drive to Burlington instead.

We travel full time. We were staying nearby and stopped in for a few items. The produce was the best I have seen in months! If we weren't in an RV I would have bought more. The best tasting fruit I've had in a long time.Great little store.

This is a market with friendly helpful staff, that is well stocked with the foods that my family needs. I can request items that they don't have and they do their best to get them for me. I'm thankful t that we have this market in our community, keep up the good work guys and gals.

Over priced and under stocked. Your basic small town grocery store.

This is my local grocery store. Because of location, prices are a bit higher than they are down river in Mount Vernon & Burlington. But still affordable. Good produce, good meat department, liquor, beer, & wine, fishing gear, minor hardware items, and pretty much everything else you would expect in a grocery store. The "Store Brand" is 'Everyday Essentials'. Currently the store is having fulfilment issues with thier supplier so stock is sporadic and they frequently out of a lot of items. I'm hoping this changes soon. Although, I have discovered that the store brand products don't quite compare with other store brands like Western Family.

A great market to buy provisions before you head up Highway 20 on your way to the National Park. Good selection of meats and produce. Fair selection of craft beers. They also have an ice vending machine in the parking lot for a quick ice pick up!

We stopped in here while camping at nearby Lake Grandy. Nice little grocery store. Wide selection and easy to navigate. We were also able to get fishing licenses.

Red Apple serves towns off the beaten path. I mean small towns where residents might not know everyone in town but have probably at least seen them in passing. The "everyone is a neighbor" attitude carries over to you when you stop in. A good place.

This is your typical country grocery store. It's a little dirty, but that's what you would expect in this kind of place. Not sure what they had going on, but my card got declined twice there despite having more than enough money in my account.

I have sworn off your store forever, having gotten moldy cake, and rancid cheese balls, and after going in there the other day, and smelling nothing but fried chicken, with a slight smoky haze in the air...after 5 minutes inside, my eyes were burning, and my lungs were on fire!! I left my food in the cart, and left the store.
