Their soup of the day was AMAZING. Best soup I’ve ever had. They said it was a “rice and beef” soup, with tomatoes and such. Definitely get a soup instead of fries. The burger was alright. I got the mac and cheese burger with blackberry compote, like another reviewer suggested. It was great, but the mac and cheese didn’t have much flavor at all. My Oreo shake was delicious, but my blood orange cider tasted more like an alcoholic orange seltzer (wasn’t a fan).The seating area is super fun, with cornhole spots and a stage and tables among the trees in a truly “outdoor” space. It was very pleasant eating here and the employees were so kind.

04.2024 the bacon, mac dog was delicious. Cant go wrong at this place. Never had bad food here.Outdoor area, dog friendly, great food & service. Went for a concert, well shaded for the hotter months. Games outside, covered area, with patio heaters.

For what it's worth, where do you find juicy, fresh and yum burgers when you are in North Cascades?Birdsview Diner gives you everything- views, chill outdoor and indoor place, peaceful, and convenient location. We stayed at KOA which is right opposite to this place and enjoyed our dinner. Lot of options to choose, it takes 10-15 minutes to decide lol. Stop by if you are visiting Cascades, trust me! :)

We were staying the night in Concrete and our cabin had no power when we arrived. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise because the manager of the inn mentioned this diner had power. When we arrived, the place was hopping - both because of the power outage and because it was a Saturday night. I ordered the fish sandwich and it was one of the best I’ve had. The waitress, although busy, was attentive and refilled our drinks on cue. We laughed at the “best burgers in town” sign because we aren’t sure there are any other burger joints, but if their burgers are anything like their fish sandwich, I’m sure they could be located in a big city and still offer that acclaim!

Family friendly and good food. Awesome outside eating area. Small beer selection but good local stuff. The staff are friendly. Inside is tight but has a small town family vibe with little toys to keep the kids busy. Menu is great for regular diet but not a lot for vegan or vegetarian (chips and beer counts, right?!). We have eaten her a few times now and have not been disappointed.

We had an amazing experience at Birdsview Diner during our trip back from North Cascades. The blackberry bacon burger they recommended was a taste sensation I've never experienced before—truly one of the best burgers I've ever had. The fries were perfectly crispy and seasoned, making the whole meal absolutely delicious. The ladies there were super friendly and attentive. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting. Don't miss out on the blackberry bacon burger—it's a must-try!

A roadside diner you've always driven by but never stopped at, this is the diner you have to stop at. Cozy, quaint seating you get to choose yourself. Ample menu choices from salads, wraps, seafood and big juicy mouth watering burgers with one incorporating blackberry compote. Quick friendly service at a decent price. If you like small diners you have got to make this one a destination. Located on the gateway to the Cascade mountains.

Well, Swamp water Soup is Delicious! Great staff, friendly atmosphere, puzzles and drinks and tasty diner food. A welcome respite from a busy day, and a great place to meet up with friends!

Ordered bird burger, cod with slaw, kids corn dog, and bbq pork. Great place in the middle of nowhere. I was hungry coming in so maybe this review is a bit biased but that burger was fantastic. I haven't had a pulled bbq pork burger for a long time too and it really hit the spot. Cod was decent, fries and slaw were decent was well. No complaints about any of the food here.

Seriously amazing Rueben and fries. Everything that I saw looked equally as amazing. I love the idea of the classic roadside joint but so often it's a letdown or a tourist trap. This place is the opposite. Everything about the sandwich tasted perfect - they clearly use high quality ingredients and it was just cooked perfectly. Highest rec!

Pretty cool place to hang out with games for young and older “kids”.We had the pulled pork sandwich which was good, maybe a bit small on the burger buns but it came with a good amount of fried.The chicken sandwich on the other hand was bigger and also came with fries. The fries we supper crunchy, I believe they fry them in batter.There are tables and metal stools outside which are tall and uncomfortable to seat on, but we ate pretty quickly and played some of the games so that’s a big plus.At last you order and pay at the door and you’re given a buzzer. It’s pretty self served from that point on.

What a wonderful restaurant this is. Found it on our way down from NCNP. We were looking for a quick bite and found this place on Google Maps.Their food was delicious, and their service was amazing. The decoration and atmosphere were so cozy and inviting. I don't travel to that area often, but I would definitely visit again if I had the opportunity.

Good food, kind staff, convenient location just beyond Baker Lake Rd. We stopped here after our summit of Mount Baker. I had the Bacon Mac and Cheese and as a side salad with blue cheese dressing; also a vanilla strawberry milk shake. You can mix two flavors for milk shakes. They close at 8pm for taking orders, but you may sit outside after that.

A total gem of a place that is worth a drive out from wherever you are traveling. Totally awesome sandwiches that will make you yearn for more and your cardiologist gasp. It has a lovely outdoor area and a really cosy indoors. The owner is lovely and super friendly as are the locals that make this place tick in the off-season. Highly recommend visiting.

We came on Labor Day, and already expected it to be busy. It was pretty busy, but the ladies inside were doing a wonderful job getting all the orders taken and getting the food out as fast as possible. You need to get the Mac and Cheese burger—it was amazing! Loaded tots were awesome as well. You need to try the dirty birdies too!. So much food we couldn’t finish it all. Great shakes to complete the meal.

Not a lot of "fresh" going on here. Frozen and coated fries etc. They could do so much better as a diner. I'll drive by next time. Service was very good. A dollar charge to use your credit card. I'd give the place an "ok" because the service was very good. The kitchen needs help !

Absolutely fast service, and exceptional customer service. I’m not sure the name of our waitress but we worded from the window at the beginning of February 2023 and us and our autistic son enjoyed the speed and the the care of this establishment ❤️ We will be a forever customer!Parking: Lots of areas around the establishment! If new to area it could pose a interesting challenge however to those who know the area the drive through is the best porky of you are not there for a rest or live music!Kid-friendliness: Oh absolutely. Just a good family place!

I would go out of my way to eat here; it’s that good!Friendly staff ✅; kids menu✅; We arrived around 4:30 and found the place pleasantly UNCROWDED.The food arrived quickly and was DELICIOUS! A special recommendation is for the pulled pork sandwich: according to my wife, it is so good that it’ll “change your life.” (Bacon burger is pictured… it was good too)The bathroom was clean, but there is this weird second door to the bathroom that appears as if you can’t lock it from the inside. It goes through to the kitchen.They have outdoor seating as well; dog friendly outside.

Mostly what one might expect from a roadside diner, but more. The owner and staff are very friendly and accommodating. There's a small seating area inside, but the big attraction is the outdoor area--a large wooded backyard, with cable spool tables, covered stage, and a large sandbox play area for the kids. My burger was really good, and the batter-dipped fries were delicious. Overall, great experience for the price. I'll definitely be back!

OGM! It’s the best burger place in Washington! Burgers are amazing, big variety! They even have a fish burger! Friendly staff and gorgeous view!
