Well maintained, affordable state park on the lower lake. Clean restrooms, functioning playground, on-leash dogs allowed. Easy lake access, walking distance to gas station and restaurants.

Nice park with plenty of room be between campsites. Clean shower facility. The only real downside here is no Wi-Fi and no sewer hookup for RVs ut there is an on site RV dump. The Wi-Fi wasn't a bad thing for me, I actually kinda enjoyed it...just letting YOU know that it isn't there.

Hadn't visited in about 9 years. Beautiful area and brought back good memories. Stopped at the 'Sit and Bull' for an order of fries and mug of beer. Hope to camp at this state park in the future. Looks to be well taken care of. Photo is of upper reservoir.

My family has been spending time in this little town nestled in the eastern slope foothills of the Cascades for 50+years, so I'm kinda partial!Conconully State Park has changed a little over the years and just keeps getting better and better! With the addition of rentable cabins with electricity and a wonderful play area for children (and parents 🤣) and an updated bathroom with multiple stalls and showers that are phenomenal (no charge) there are plenty of fish in the lake adjacent to the park and another lake less than 1/2 a mile at the other end of town. And many, many of miles of good condition road's to explore further into the Cascades on side-by-side, ATVs, 4x4s and pretty much anything people get a wild hair to drive into the woods. I've personally seen a really nice Camaro up above Salmon Meadows out towards Tiffany mountain, which is definitely not a trail you expect to see a nice Camaro. You can also drive from Conconully in any car a route through the woods all the way over to the Methow valley to Winthrop WA and go over baldy mountain pass which is a beautiful 40ish mile drive through the woods. Any which way you choose to take advantage of the many recreational activities in the area, Conconully State Park is a beautiful maintained space to have as home base for all your adventures!

We stayed in one of the cabins. It had a queen sized bed, and a full sized bunk bed. There was power, an AC unit, a fan, running water nearby, and clean bathrooms a short walk away. It was hardly camping, but it was peaceful and quiet. Deer wandered through the site, the lake was serene, and each night the stars were incredible.

Nice and well maintained parkThe north part has access to the lake and a small beach though it’s more rustic. The south part is bigger, lot of space to run, newly playground, ranger station and even cabins

This park was nice, but not worth the drive. The main attraction was the water, but the park is mostly situated on the swampy end of the lake, which was so murky with goose feces I would never swim in it.

I loved this campground. I went in the Fall, so it wasn’t busy. The cabin was so nice, especially for the price and the campground is more like a park.Extra bonus, it’s on the North Cascades Scenic Route and makes for a great base camp.I couldn’t have had a better experienceRestrooms: This was my first experience staying at a State campground. The bathroom was impressive. Single user, lock on the door, warm in the late Fall, super clean. Great shower.Dog-friendliness: My two dogs had a great time here. Stayed in the one dog friendly cabin. The area is like a park, so it was easy to walk them. Walked around the town as well. I couldn’t imagine a better experience.

This park was partially flooded when we arrived in late June. Park staff switched our reservation to a nice dry spot when we checked in. It was easy to find right in town on Conconully Reservoir. There are three campgrounds – main, south camp and west camp. In the main campground wites have straight level gravel pads with picnic tables and firepit in grass beside pads. Easy to park and hookup. Grass was mown, and the park was well cared for. Lots of geese, large picnic area with playground and old trees for shade. Small boat launch at west camping area which was tightly packed with small spaces. The west campground was very rustic with rustic boat launch and large parking area. Lots of people riding ATV’s on park roads and public roads nearby. No signs in park about ATV trails but there must be trails nearby. Water and electric sites were just as nice as tent sites with lots of room but not much privacy. No real beach area.

There are 3 camp areas at the park. Two on the lower reservoir and one on the upper lake. All are "condo camping". Spaces are very close to each other with little or no separating features like bushes or trees. Poor signage to upper. The upper site is newer. Beautiful lakes.

Nice state park. Costed $25 for one night to set up tent.had water and fire pit with grill. We set up next to greenbelt and about 5am 5deer trounced by. Did not like getting woken up at 2 am and again 4 am by sirens which sound like air raid sirens but was the volunteer fire dept. Fishing was not good. Better lakes nearby. And amenities nearby limited.

One of the nicest places in the world! It has a Mayberry RFD vibe! It is quiet and peaceful, not much has changed in 40 years!

Lake was super gross. Maybe just an algae bloom occurring? Can't imagine people wanting to go in this lake. Paddled the entire lake- it was throughout.Stayed at first come site 66. Nice views, not much privacy. Bathroom was very clean.

It's a nice spot for family getaway. Definitely come prepared with all utilities although there is a small gas station which has some staples. But it's a very far away drive from Seattle and for me wasn't worth it. Doesn't have a lot of hikes nearby either. There are probably better places to camp at.

Not a bad little state park. The best part is it puts you in great proximity to trails and lakes. Dear walking around everywhere. We

Nice little park to go and relax, not great for swimming on the park side though due to all the milfoil. Other than that it's a great place to eat and watch the deer. It's also got a nice play area for the kids.

It was ok.We rented an ADA cabin for a few nights. The distance from the cabin to the bathroom over bumpy uneven lawn was difficult to traverse, I am not sure a person in a wheelchair would’ve been able to travel it. The cabin is split into two rooms one which is taken up 90% by a very low to the ground queen size bed. The other room has two bunkbeds where the lower bunk is on the floor. If you have someone with a mobility disability they may not be able to get in and out of bed. Also if you are there in the summer months and are running the air conditioner the second room with the twin beds in it doesn’t get any airflow, so One room is freezing and the other is sweltering. It was a beautiful park and had great swimming-a little hike from the cabins.

Stayed in cabin 1 over Easter weekend, it was one of the best camping experiences our family has had. Facilities are clean and well kept, cabins were warm at night, deer and wildlife right outside. Great place to stay and relax. Stayed 3 nights, wish it was a week.

A quick bathroom break and leg stretch on the road trip to see state parks along Hwy 20. The play structure is fun to run around on. Being able to see a replica of the county courthouse was nice. We got a kick out of the hole drilling competition rock.

Wow! I wasn't expecting much. All campgrounds were packed so I took a chance and drove a few miles out of the way. Large willow trees, flat spaces. Biggest park ranger I ever met. This guy is tall! Great value!

I was only in and out real quick like this time.We were camping it "rough style" in a real tent just outside of town and 5 days is just too long to rough it and not shower, so I snuck in and got a quickie here at the park and was able to get through the next couple of days.In this case, it was a life saver.Remember, you need a Discover Pass to use these facilities...Playground: Lots of climbing setups to play on.Restrooms: Clean and cold like most restrooms these daysDog-friendliness: Leash requiredPicnic area: Multiple picnic tables all around.

If you are going for peace, quiet and relaxation this, unfortunately is not the place. Growing up we came to Conconully 2 or 3 times a year for camping, biking, boating and fishing. You can still do all that, but you will be surrounded and taken over by the addition of atvs, motor bikes and quads running non-stop. I’m sure they are super fun, but the disregard they have for everyone else is sad. Did not sleep while there. Had 4 nights planned, left after 2nd night. Very Sad!
