I used to make a 50 mile round trip to shop here but have since gone to Super 1 as this store rarely has a checker available and self checkout doesn't pay me for doing their work. Good store but forcing self check out is a pathetic excuse for customer service. Super 1 always has people at a register with friendly service.

How is it possible to always get bad/poorly-made/expired/moldy food every single time I try to shop at this safeway? I try to avoid this place like the plague and have been able to the last few years but now with it being the latest open store sometimes there isn’t a choice and every time LITERALLY I get bad products and it usually smells like sewage through the whole store which has been a problem for YEARS. How is that not fixed either?

Other than wal mart this is the largest grocery store in about 100 miles in any direction. There is super one foods, harvest foods and a few others but if you want a bigger store and want a chain store this is it. There is a Starbucks inside. There is ample parking and it does have a gas station. Prices this far north from Spokane are any where from 10 to 20 cents higher. The store is clean and employees friendly.

Good produce, good variety of Asian and Hispanic foods, back in 2015 two of the managers were having an affair with each other. Great bakery also!

I try to always buy my meat from safeway because of quality. But tonight the meat that got is rotten inside. It stinks so bad. I am trying to pick through the good meat. But I think this is all trash. Side note (I took awards in FFA and 4H for meat judging) I know when it has a bad stink and just a meat smell.

I would like to thank all of your employees for excellent service. I am disabled and most of your people are professional and I won't waste your time complaining, my saying thanks is more important. Thank you also for the electric shopping cart, I could not shop without it, even after being injured by it. I could have started a lawsuit for enough money to buy a car 🚗, but I accepted an offer for only $100., I figured that it was enough instead of having to file a lawsuit just because I could. The only thing I have to question is the obstacle course navigating the aisles. Your prices could be a bit less too. 😆 Sadly you have discontinued some of the "signature" items that are quality such as Grape/Cranberry juice , is not the same as "Cranberry/Grape". Your produce is excellent and I love 😘 the sale prices. Your handicap parking 🅿️ spots are arranged very nicely too. Keep that happy 😁 smile on your faces. Cheers!W. D. Smith

The store is overall very good. The pharmacy however the worst I have ever seen. They are slow, they all are almost rude. Whatever the problem, someone else is at fault. I have actually been told for three days running that they haven’t had time to work on it and come back the fourth day. and told it was put back for failure to pick up. If you enjoy lines, frustration, people looking at you with a deadpan stare this is your pharmacy. Have a great grocery shopping experience in the market but get your pharmaceuticals some where else

Their parking lot is an accident waiting to happen! I have watched several people including myself struggle to walk from your vehicle to the store and back and using a cart is near impossible!! They don't seem to have plowed this winter.Their customer service out weighs the terrible parking lot but I hope no one gets hurt trying to shop there.

Love this Safeway. They have a great bakery selection. Also amazing cheeses and meats in the deli. Produce is fresh and prices aren’t bad. Make sure you download the Safeway app and create an account to clip digital coupons. Saves you loads of money. Can be cheaper than Walmart if you use the coupons. Got grapes for $0.99 a pound the other day. Usually pay $1.99 a pound

Moved to this area just a couple months ago and I'm stoked that I wound up living near this store so I'm able to walk there in 5mins anytime. The fruit is always fresh and every item you find here is always the highest quality food products. The staff are friendly and welcoming and its just something about the warmth of the store that reminds me of being home with family during the holidays - euphoric in a sense! Great store, great staff, great food, highly recommend it!!

The older gentleman that was working the checkout lane was really crabby. I hope that the rest of his day goes better. Other than that, it was ok. About what you'd expect from Safeway.

My all time favorite grocery store. It's clean, employees are friendly and very nice. The groceries when they're on sale are awesome because then I can afford to eat for the month. Being on a fixed income makes it kinda hard to get by sometimes.

I love coming here. They have more deals on stuff. the customer service is amazing, I love most of the staff here, Gwen is my favorite cashier, so informative and helpful. She always has a great attitude when I come through her lane. Keep up the amazballs work

I've never had the best experience here. There's never enough cashier's so you're always bound to be waiting in line into the aisles. It takes forever to get service at the deli and not everything is kept fresh. I once ordered a sandwich, got back to work and the bread had mold on it. Another time they didn't put one of the meats on my husband's sandwich and they argued that they did. And that's only naming a few issues I've had here. If I want this type of service for a better price I'll go to Walmart. For better service and much better doughnuts I'll go to Super 1.

Semi friendly and helpful staff. Deli food is very disappointing compared to other Safeway and albertsons stores we go to in other towns. Definitely get the you need us we don't need you vibe there. And most people I talk to say the same.

This Safeway is always very clean and well stocked. Great variety in all departments. Prices are excellent, sales are honestly a good deal. Bakery and deli are clean well organized. I ordered deli trays during the Christmas holidays and was delighted with content and price.

Don't have a complaint or awesome review for Safeway. Other than its a pain to have to make sure you have clipped your "coupons" in your app yo not apend way more than you expected.

This Safeway is consistently inconsistent. Almost always out of major staples in the grocery department. Displays are inadequate and often have large holes where sale items should be. The Starbucks department is frequently understaffed or staffed with untrained employees. Finding employees on the floor can be difficult but employees are always friendly. The produce and bakery departments are almost always well stocked and look nice. With other options in town, its hard to justify a stop at this store with such inconsistent and numerous out of stocks.

Love Safeway's reliable discounts, especially for loyalty rewards customers. Just discovered that the parent company, Albertson's, is one of the largest USA-based buyer of beef raised on pasture wrested vua deforestation in the Amazon Basin. Won't be buying any meats that aren't raised in the USA. Shop here regularly, especially for those items not readily available elsewhere. Stocked like a cross between a regular grocery store and a specialty grocery. With gas prices so high, I appreciate that reward points I earn on my all my grocery purchases give me discounts on the gas I buy at the Safeway station.

What a hopping Safeway. Store was crowded with both people and parking. Long lines at 5:30pm in the evening, makes me think they are a bit understaffed. Had a great deli section and customer service. Fresh flowers, well lit and the fruit looked pretty good too.Scored some soup from the front and the deli counter helped me get out quickly.

A special thank you to Khalil, who has twice gotten our pick up order ready for us.I am currently recovering from medical treatments and can’t come inside because of the lack of adherence to both the vaccination and masking requirements that would protect my immune system from Covid. Khalil is courteous, professional and goes the extra effort to have our order ready and then loads it quickly and efficiently so that we spend as little time as possible completing our order.He is an asset to Safeway.
