We have been a customer of what was originally Big R and is now North 40 before it came to Colville. Big R always gave absolutely the best customer service and made you feel valuable as a customer. Ever since North 40 took over the store, it’s been a steady decline in attitudes and customer service. They have made it more and more difficult to do business with them and we now go out of our way to shop elsewhere. Unfortunately they have some good sales and prices and inventory but corporate has has implemented many unfriendly customer rules and only a few of the employees are very knowledgeable. Many are borderline rude and could care less if you were there or not. This seems to be the way of a lot of retail establishments these days. I now shop North 40 Colville as a last resort.😖

This Place is like "Holiday Shopping" Year Round! Mechanic and Carpentry Tools, Sporting Goods, Camping Gear, Clothes, Boots/Shoes, Flower & Garden Seeds, Yard Art, Toys, Candy, Animal Feed & Water Trophs, Buckets, Nails, Screws, Storage Bins, Various Size Safes, Lawn Furniture, Hunting/Fishing Equipment and Licence's....AND SO MUCH MORE!!! This "North 40" is absolutely Huge and ALWAYS CLEAN!! ANY Employee Will Assist you in locating whatever you are looking for. The Employees are very kind and patient. I enjoy shopping here, always! They also have "Gift Cards" Available!

Dont buy batteries from here. Its from 7/23 abd now its 10/23 batterie is no good and that wont do any thing about it. Need to have reciept and they didnt put other date tag and blame me for it. I might just not shop here anymore easier to order online from homedepot at least they will take care of return right away

I've been in a bunch of so called outfitter, hunting, fishing, tractor, farm, camping, or for what ever you need store. This one is all that and then some. Throw in a staff that is super helpfull, knowledgeable, friendly and likes working there. I wouldn't go anywhere else. Ever.

Love this store! Friendly helpful staff and lots of cool stuff. We've bought everything from clothing, boots, fencing, livestock supplies, pet food, chicken feeders, to canning jars here. You never know what you might find that you need or don't need. Great store!

Gentleman at the ammunition counter was knowledgeable and courteous, young lady at the front counter would not break a $20 bill, she also wanted my phone number when I refused she said" seriously"! Not certain if I'll return to shop here.

Beware if you don't keep your receipt (who would keep for bird seed, who would suspect that is was mold infested inside?), especially if you used a gift card, you will be treated as a if you likely stole from the store. Additionally, other than folks in the yard, I've never experienced anything other than indifference to my presence in the store. Not hostile, but not pleasant.

Like Clothing an camping, hunting plus fishing supplies... Along with tools!!! 🤘 power tool to hand tool you name it.. anything you need stop by. So when you think where can I find 🤔 it no matter what it is.. chances are you'll find it here at North 40 Outfitters right here in Beautiful Colville Washington where the staff couldn't be more helpful or friendly if you need help with anything they'll be glad to help.. from heavy lifting or making the right choice of products.. don't waist your time anywhere else.. just come on in an see for yourself..Cause at North 40 Outfitters they keep you in the right direction with your selection 😉

They seem to have exactly what I'm looking for almost every time I have gone there for different items.. A great all around store for your needs. And their prices are very reasonable. Or at least the items I have purchased there seem to be reasonable...

I was testing the sensitivity of a Fenwick rod that was $120 and it snapped in half right above where it pulls apart into 2 pieces. I wasn't trying to break it and it snapped so easliy. One of the associates came up to me and was implying I would have to pay for it and said he was going to grab his manager. I guess the manager told him I didn't have to pay for it. But then he proceeded to give me the death stare and tried to babysit us for more than 5 minutes making me feel very uneasy. I went to grab another rod and he immediately said don't test it implying I would break another one. What's the difference if I took that rod out and it breaks and then come back and return it? I'm not some Hoodlum going out and breaking rods for fun. I'm not sure I will go back there again. I guess all good things must come to an end.

Good ...freindly customer service...Good selection of goodies for just about everyone...and we a store like this in a remote part of this country...instead of driving to the big city...just wished they had an off grid section with knowledgeable people who know their products...but kudos anyway...
