First off, I have been offered zero incentives to write this review, nor do I expect to receive any.I've been at the Ridge for almost 2 years and I love it here.It is classy, updated, kept up very well, and a breath of fresh air to get out of the hustle and bustle of Spokane.I have deer strolling by my patio in the mornings and evenings and have seen a plethora of other wildlife just down Hatch Road! The pool is always clean and well kept and is open early in the spring to late in the fall! The workout room is clean and offers 24/7 use with your own key. There is a reeeeally nice dog park at the entrance with benches for the 2 leggeds to relax while the 4 leggeds run around like maniacs. There's also a walking trail that goes all the way around the complex and a cutoff to head down Wandermere road. I love it out here!!šŸ˜ŠThe groundskeepers are fast at putting out ice melt in winter and they keep up the property and apartments well. Never any garbage laying around. The lawns are extremely well kept, sprinklers work and older trees were taken out last fall and young healthy maples and flowering trees were planted!Honestly, no Apt complex is perfect but this is the nicest I've found for the price!!šŸ˜We never have car break-ins. There's cameras up for safety and there's no riff-raff wandering through! The Ridge also offers garages or carports for an additional fee but parking spots are more than sufficient for the size of the complex.Oh, also all apts were updated 2 yrs ago with hardwood floors, granite countertops in kitchen and bathrooms and new sinks and faucets. And Most importantly the apts are CLEAN!! NO BUGS EVER!šŸ‘€My sincere appreciation to all staff and management at The Ridge for making my stay here incredibly wonderful!!šŸ˜‡God bless!Melody A

Heads up they are offering incentives for a positive review so take those with a grain of salt. This complex has ruined my life they literally have me trapped because of my rent increase and now they just denied the rental assistance I got approved for. These people hired me had me do MONTHS of backed paperwork and fired me when I reported a tenant had been out of hot water for three weeks. I stressed that it was hugely illegal and instead of handling it they fired me at the hands of a drunk who no longer works there. They cannot keep staff at all and the staff that stays is indebted to the owner Cary Snow so he essentially has to use his own personal circle to run it at this point. They have discriminated against me and served me ten illegal notices. I am low income and since they moved me out to Colbert to work there onsite and then Fired me they have paralyzed me financially. They have me paying close to 1600 a month for a 700 square foot one bedroom apartment. I canā€™t afford a lawyer because they take every penny I can scrounge up to keep my home and now that Iā€™m absolutely out of savings and behind on rent they are refusing my state assistanceā€¦. These people must want my life on their hands. I cannot believe this.

Take all 5 star reviews with skepticism. They offered discounts for good reviews to tenants. This apartment is so outrageously expensive while being one of the worst places Iā€™ve ever lived. The appliances broke constantly, the paint is carelessly applied, cracks down the baseboards and under the counters. It was absolutely filthy when we moved in and yet they had the nerve to charge us a cleaning fee when we left despite the fact that I cleaned it far better than it was when we moved in. The management has been a rotating list of people who can barely do their jobs. For example, this 900sq ft two bedroom apartment cost 1900$ a month. And it was in the worst condition. Iā€™ve never lived anywhere more expensive and less worth the money. If we had been able to move out sooner we would have because I hated everything about this place EXCEPT for the maintenance folks who were always kind and helpful even when management tried to nickle and dime repairs. Our dish washer was broken for months before management finally approved a replacement. It was moldy and made the ā€˜cleanā€™ dishes smell like dog breath. Please live somewhere else this will be a bad decision if you move here.

My family and I just moved in last Saturday and we are loving it up here. This apartment complex is such a dream to live in. All the space, luxury appliances, wonderful views and amazing staff have us incredibly thankful and happy. Megan, Amanda, Garret THANK YOU SOO MUCH for all your help since day 1 touring the apartments, listening our requests and concerns and helping us through all the application process and signing. Your professionalism and kindness is outstanding. THANK YOU

Decent place to live until it came time to move out. We needed to terminate our lease early due to buying a house, and we were told it would cost $2,700 to do this. Completely reasonable I thought. Much to my surprise I was charged $4,200 the next month. Management was at best incompetent throughout this process, and was completely unwilling to work with us to lower the cost of trying to move out. To add insult to injury we received only $200 of our $520 security deposit, a month and a half after we had moved out. Reasons cited being miscellaneous cleaning fees and to replace a couple cheap plastic window shade pieces. We kept no pets, kept the apartment clean, and vacuumed mopped and dusted the place before we moved out. Over the 15 months we lived here we spent approximately $23,000. And about $5,000 of that being in the last month. One hell of a parting gift to good renters who just purchased their first home.

Had an expedited move in (within the week we had signed a lease and got keys) since then we have had a few minor needs touched up, and they were very timely and accommodating. For instance, prior to moving in there were new counter tops installed and due to that our washer/water hookup wasnā€™t turned back on and Slade (one of the awesome handymen) knew exactly why it wasnā€™t working and fixed it on the spot. Definitely recommend this apartment complex, the new management is making this place great.

My roommate and I moved in about a month ago, and have been loving the apartment. The staff is excellent! as soon as we showed interest in moving in, Celi immediately jumped to our cause and helped us gather all the information we needed. It took some work to get us signed onto a lease, but it was well worth it in the end.

Management makes a difference!!! A couple months ago, this place was a 5/5. Now - I would give 0/5 stars. Nice apartments? Yes. Management/Front office? Terrible. They are extremely unorganized, gave us our lease and then promised they'd honor a lower price (that they accidentally sent us) and then brushed us aside and charged us the higher price, and they don't listen to any concerns. For example, when I wanted to file a complaint regarding our upstairs neighbors, their response was "Are you okay with going to court over this complaint?" They do the bare minimum and it's extremely frustrating! They also lose paperwork left and right - they put a notice on my car THREE times that I had to park elsewhere or I'd be towed...and I pay for a carport each month!!! Had to go into the office each time and remind them. Such a joke. Can't wait to leave at the end of our lease. Would not recommend living here for a bit until there is a new management in place.

The new staff, makes this a better living environment for all those searching for an apartment, me and my boyfriend moved here a while back with the old staff and they were horrible, yet ever since they left and we got these wonderful new staff workers, its been great they help out with any of our problems we're having in our apartment and make sure to fine and answer to our questions. I honestly really enjoy living here it's a much more nicer environment now and I would rate this place a 10/10 to live or start off.

10/10 Great management, friendly, and very safe neighborhood! Not only are they located in the top school district but have so many fun safe activities for kids. The fenced in play area, outdoor pool, trail around the property, and fun grass area with a wonderful view. The staff is always on top of fixing things or helping with any questions. They also offer short term lease options or longer! Definitely worth looking into if your looking for an apartment.

I love it here, beautiful area. Garett is amazing and understanding.thatā€™s the biggest reason Iā€™m giving this a 4 star. The other star missing is for the landlord, upon my encounter with her she has been unprofessional. Also Iā€™ve lived here for over 3 years but due to market prices my rent is increasing by 40% for a 6 month lease and by 30% for a 12 month lease. $1300-14000 for one bed room? Especially that unlike the new units being rented out for the same price everything in my apartment is old, terrible carpet and 10 year old washing machines. But if you have the money to spare at least get a unit with a view; it wonā€™t disappoint. This is a safe neighborhood and the nature around here is gorgeous.

I rented an apartment at the Ridge at Midway from Summer 2016 to Spring 2021. I moved out because of work changes. I enjoyed my stay in the complex. Management is professional, very available and responsive with genuine, reasonable folks working on the maintenance staff. The neighborhood is safe and clean and all-in-all provided an excellent environment for my exercise walking. The renters have a wide cross section of ages and family situations, except for relatively few of college age. I recommend signing up for a parking garage, as I found this to be very convenient.

This has been my favorite apartment complex to live in! The staff is always really friendly and helpful, maintenance is really responsive, the apartments are nice/modern, it's quiet and I have always felt very safe. Also a great location that is close to a lot of stores. Really happy to be a resident. : )

WARNING: this complex does not care about their tenants. I lived here with my sister and she was physically assaulted in the parking lot and we had video proof. The apartment took months to get the man evicted even though their lease states they have to evict anyone who is violent. The man then assaulted 3 others, severely injuring one. The complex did nothing. They claimed theyā€™d be in contact and refused to call back or pick up their phone. They only responded when I went to talk to them in person and even then they wouldnā€™t give full answers. I also had a different man ask me what apartment I lived in after he blocked me from leaving the complex and almost hit me head on with his truck. The complex again did nothing. They added an extra $400 to our rent after the incident as well. Do not trust this place it is unsafe. Not to mention the management is horrible and extremely rude. They belittle their tenants.

Cely and Megan were excellent! So friendly and helpful. Cely gave the tour and was so helpful with making sure I got what I wanted in an apartment and answered all my questions. Great service and gorgeous property. Freshly upgraded units with beautiful views, flooring, appliances, etc.

This place is hands down the friendliest staff around. The office staff go above and beyond to help. The girls are caring, compassionate, and truly want to help. If you are looking for a clean place with friendly and accommodating staff, look no further. They will go above and beyond to meet your needs! Super clean as well!

Selly... (SP) was so amazing at helping my fiancee get into an apartment. She went above and beyond when all other places would deny and that was their final answer. I am not the one renting the apartment but I went through the whole process with my man. I am so grateful for you! Thank you!We already love this place!

From the moment I toured the apartment homes, the staff at The Ridge at Midway have been professional and friendly. After I moved in, the maintenance team were not only responsive, taking care of the few items needing attention (within days of my request), but the quality of their work was impressive. I'm so glad I made the choice to live here!

The girls in the office.. omg.. it's like a high-school cafeteria in there.. the leasing agent hung up on me before I could say who I was.. I've done some investigating into the property since that time.. the owner of the property is clueless about what goes on. To make matters worse he is a developer so it's obvious the complex is an afterthought. The office manager is someone who I suspect drinks on the job.Their maintenance program is very poor... I wouldn't suggest this place to anyone.Edit to respond to their reply.. if you studied your cameras in the office as well as you claim to have looked at the logs.. you'd see what really goes on...you can see their response is to insult people's intelligence...

Apartments are nice, walls may be a little thin and can definitely always hear your upstairs neighbors.Management/Maintenance team has seemed to last longer than normal this time. Going on 3yrs of living here with 3 different companies/teams. Some staff are friendly and some not so much, I do believe the remaining staff are friendly at this point. The downfall of this place would be the amenities were closed throughout Covid with no compensation. Now this year the pool is closed on Sundays? So for the residents who work the normal Monday-Friday job your two days off to relax at the pool are cut to one and itā€™s only open during business hours the rest of the week? Not to mention the pool is now closed on the 4th and the day after. Why would the pool be closed on national holidays? Every resident gets their own key to pool, so remove the padlocks and do your cleaning during a weekday rather than take away a weekend when families actually have time to spend together. I know thatā€™s how it use to be here at the ridge.I personally would consider other apartment complexes before signing a lease here as it seems to continue to go down hill.

Due to my job, I move every 1-2 years. I have been very impressed with the courtesy of the staff here and the management. Very friendly and quick to respond. The grounds are kept very clean with areas to walk your pets if you have them. With apartment living comes the knowledge that you will normally hear your neighbor but rarely do I hear any of mine unless Im outside. The onsite fitness facilities are very nice and well kept. I love the location as well.

I absolutely love the new maintenance men, Slade and Caleb. My refrigerator wasn't working. I put in a maintenance request and they were at my apartment within a half hour. Both were kind and professional. Fixed my refrigerator and the light in my stove. I also showed them some of my nice clothes that were ruined from our washing machine due to oil. I had a new one the next day. Now, we just need a good lawn mowing service!!!

I was at the Ridge for 2 years. It was nice and safe. Never had any issues with theft or anything else. Parking is crowded if you dont pay for a spot. That can be annoying if you come home late. I went through two sets of front office companies. They were mostly friendly. Kids can be loud outside but overall a good place to live. Maintenance guys were always nice as well. Out of town and I would say most people that live here are looking for a quiet, safe and decent place to live. It is worth paying a bit more. I got 550$ back on an 800$ deposit. I think that is pretty great after 2 years. They were super fair to me. Honestly best apartments I lived in.

We really enjoyed our time at The Ridge at Midway. The managers, Garrett & Samantha, are super-kind and really helpful. We had really nice neighbors. The apartment complex is clean, dog-friendly and near shopping areas. We definitely recommend the apartment complex.

Staff was available for viewing. The move in process was seamless and easy. Anything maintenance issues were remedied quickly and staff wore mask. Top notch apartments are hard to find but I think Iā€™ve hit the jack lot by moving here.To the staff: keep up the good work

This is my 3rd year in this community and really enjoying my stay here. Nice staff and friendly maintenance team. Nice landscape well maintained community and all the time we received immediate response. In my busy schedule, few times my 11 year son approached staff for minor maintenance work and we got Immediate positive response.

Ground floor apartments have patios shared with toilet areas for dogs. These areas are ground level apartments' view and fresh air "amenities" of the living room. Suggestions/requests to management for 2 + years have gone misunderstood and misplaced in the effort to be "dog friendly" It could be a courtesy to: Please Comment in Residents' Newsletters: to ask dog owners to "step to the end of the building" to toilet the animals. Huge, nice areas exist away from the sidewalks and between buildings to run and relieve animals. It is unnecessary to occur by an apartment patio door..or right by sidewalks for little kids to run through. Responses have included that "it is a dog friendly complex". Got it.Owners' recent response to the above is appreciated and residents look forward to positive considerations for ground dwellers. Walkabouts to view the complex grounds show beautiful, new green grass sprouting. this spring..very refreshing after the long winter. How telling (and sad) it is to see yellow/brown/bare potty spots in front of..and quite near..most ground floor patios. Lots. The spacious areas between buildings show neither the amount, nor sizes of said toilet flags. Yes, convenience is right off the stairs, but unsightly and unsanitary near residents' ground level "balcony". It could be so simple to say: "down the stairs; turn right or left and walk to the end of the building." For the number of ground dwellers who have this consideration, it would be nice to have a people friendly complex.

I'd give five stars but it is a little spendy here and the floors are not well insulated for sound (3rd fl can hear downstairs really well). I'm not sure why this place would get bad reviews. In 7 months here not much to complain about. Quiet, clean, away from foot traffic, close to shopping if you drive, in the Mead SD, garage parking for extra (recommend), playground, pool, A/C, W/D, DW in units. Kids here seem to range from elementary to HS.Edit: Dropping a star here. I thought it was pricey before... After completing one year here I get a letter thanking me and congratulating me on my anniversary and kindly letting me know my rent for a 1 bedroom for 888 a month, would be going up 75$. A 1 bedroom apartment!Edit: Thanks for your response. I find it disingenuos. Your management company determined new stuff was needed in apartments and on the ground and simply passed the costs on to the renters. Charging almost 1k a month for a one bedroom is simply gouging people. There are much lower rental options available with the same quality.

I lived at the Ridge at Midway for close to three years. While there I greatly enjoyed the amenities offered by the complex. The landscaping was always well maintained and after the windstorm they cleared fallen trees immediately. Solid complex with a number of college students and older population waiting on homes to be bought. I never heard any noise from the highway and enjoyed the view. 10 minutes to Wandemere shopping and 12 minutes to Whitworth University. Great location.
