We stayed at the Nordlig Motel for 3 nights while visiting relatives near Springdale. For those visiting the nearby casino, this location would be perfect. You certainly can't beat the price. The hosts were cordial, the coffee was good, the rooms were clean and the beds were great. I suffer from hip and lower back pain, but slept very well while there.

The Nordlig Motel was wonderful. From the parking area to the bathroom, everything was clean, up to date and functional. I loved our stay and have already started planning our trip through Chewelah next year. We chose the Nordlig due to the positive reviews and could not wait to leave our review. We loved it.2023- We loved our stay at the Nordlig enough last year we brought another four couples this year while passing through on our motorcycles. Same clean rooms and welcoming owner. We were offered rags to wipe our bikes down and a room where we could play cards and watch a large screen TV together. We walked to town for dinner and groceries. Great place to stay and very accommodating when traveling with a group. We will stay at the Nordlig next year as well!!

Stayed at Nordlig after a wedding. Bathroom was a bit small but we didn't spend much time in there. 😂 Super clean, fantastic price and comfortable! Highly recommend!!!

In the midst of a skiing road trip 10+ years ago, we came across this cozy little motel. The skiing at 49 Degrees N was great, and we decided we needed to make this an annual event. Based on the proximity to the ski area, the cleanliness of the motel, and the exceptional customer service, we have stayed at the Nordlig motel for 10 straight years and have also brought many friends and family with us. Considering I am 6'3", a slight larger shower would be nice, but I am more than willing to compromise, because the benefits of the hospitality continually exceed my expectations.

Our stay with you was a delight and wish it was a little longer. Everything was super clean! We had extra pillows and big, fluffy bath towels. There was even a small dressing area right outside the bathroom. Lots of little touches and updates. The beautiful quilts added country charm. We will be back and will always recommend you to our friends and family.

It's not a 5 star hotel. For an inexpensive stay, it is a 5 star experience. The family that runs the Nordlig is very friendly and responsive. The rooms have everything you need, clean, and pet friendly. It feels like a "real" place with some personality rather than just another comfort inn or whatever. Perfect base camp for a few days of skiing.

I had the pleasure of staying at this pet friendly cozy Inn over the weekend. The room was clean and comfortable. The owners were VERY accommodating with my pets. They gave me all kinds of informations about the area and restaurant choices. The Mexican restaurant was wonderful. The pet area was great well maintained and clean. I highly recommend Nordlig Motel! I hope to come again soon!

I visited Chewelah for a two-day skip trip and chose the Nordlig for my accommodations based on reviews. Andrea made me feel welcome right away on check-in, and because my traveling companions could not make it she offered me a ground floor room with a single bed instead (at a savings from the double-queen I had booked upstairs). The newly refurbished, well-appointed room was sparkly clean and exceeded my expectations, especially for the price. Since it included both microwave and hot pot I was able to cook breakfast and dinner inside the room (would have loved to go out but was also being cautious due to COVID). Paul was very friendly and helpful on day two when I requested more supplied, telling me he had updated the room I was in along with four others and has plans to do more. The bed was very comfortable and the bedding like new. Wi-Fi worked great too. Very quiet location off the main drag. I would definitely stay there again and can recommend to others.

I had a situation trying to return to Canada, my COVID test was lost at lab and I had to scramble to find a place to stay for the night, with all the recent evacuations and fire fighters taking up every place in area I would like to say thank you so much for basically coming to my rescue when you heard my situation so I wasn't stranded. Paul the owner was very nice, helping me check in after hours. Happy to say I was able to get another test done and am now back in Canada finally! Thanks again! Btw Room was very clean, OJ & muffins in morning were delicious!

Very nice..clean ...comfortable. Smile on the owners face would make a person feel more welcome when your being questioned about smoking and pets. Real short. The stay itself was great. I would have the eateries up date their menus in the rooms . No breakfast menus or info on where to go for breakfast in the early mornings. People downtown were very nice and helpful. Thankyou

What a great overnighter at a quaint town! It's not your over priced chain lodging, so it has great, small details that make it a great place to stay. When we arrived, the gentlemen who runs the front was friendly and informative. Then, we got to our room which was very clean and cozy. The mattresses weren't anything to rave about, but the hand-quilted comforters made for a comfortable night. The continental breakfast also wasn't stellar, but we weren't there for the food (there's some great places in town). I normally don't give out 5 stars unless the business offers something extraordinary, but I honestly had low expectations. When I met the friendly staff, slept like a baby, and was able to hit 49 Degrees North within a 15 minute drive, I have nothing but good things to say. My wife and I will certainly return.

Very quaint and quiet. Clean establishment and an awesome little town. We went in due to the snow storm. Even at midnight the lot was safe and the walkways clear of snow and ice. We had a great sleep and woke up a bit late but they never hurried us out or even minded we had overstayed. We will travel there again.

Was cozy and friendly stay, but there was advertised a continental breakfast with baked goods and fruits in the breakfast room but when I went into the room I did not see any goods or fruit, just a coffee pot with cups, sugar, creamer and straws and a mostly empty vending machine. The motel room was very clean and nice but falsely advertised breakfast

Fantastic little motel. Great place to come home to after a day of skiing at 49 deg! Hot shower, fast WiFi, and fridge/microwave. Very comfortable and clean. Also, checkout the breakfast room with coffee and homemade treats! Great for budget travelers.
