I always shop at Ace in Cheney because it’s the closest hardware store by my house even though it’s still out of the way. I was on the north side of Spokane when I seen an Ace and stopped to pick up a seat wrench for my faucet. I gave my rewards number like always and left. Unfortunately it didn’t fit so I had to return it. I went to the Ace in Cheney to return it and they said they couldn’t return it because it was bought at a different Ace and they are all privately owned. No where does it say that. I will no longer shop with them. They have lost our family as customers!

Went with my son to buy a water softener unit they were the only ones to have it, the manager was very knowledgeable about them and gave us really good information about what we needed to get it installed. Took about an hour or so but simply to do just read the instructions

There’s nowhere else that even comes close to Jarms. They usually have exactly what you need and they go out of their way to help you. My husband is always finding excuses to go there 😂 What would Cheney even do without Jarms!

Not happy to see that they are charging sales tax on a charitable contribution to the children's hospital.Sales tax that I am sure does not get handed to the hospital. They right off what they donate then keep the sales tax for what they donate?? Sounds like tax fraud to me.

Great little place..found a great deal on a 3/8 Dewalt drill..fair prices..a bit higher than the HD...lot to look at and have a little bit of everything..definitely worth a stop when in Cheney!

Store has easy access with lots of parking. Their fastener selection is outstanding. This is your typical Ace Hardware store stocking most any tool or hardware item you might need. Staff was very friendly. Nice place to do business.

Place is awesome. Always get great service and seem to always have what I need. Some items are a tad bit higher priced, however I'm usually shopping for multiple items so if I'm able to get it all here, that's perfect. Also, this location is convenient.

Usually I come in spend about 400 for my job and leave. I came in today and was made late to work because the girl behind the counter had to keep calling people up to get an ornament off the tree to look for a drill etc. She couldn't do anything by herself. She made us extremely late to work , 24 minutes to buy 2 things. Sad to see someone who can't use a stepstool but is selling them... hope they get some better more knowledgeable staff. It took so long just to spend 100 that I didn't shop for anything else . That girl lost her corporation hundreds of dollars today

I've been shopping at Jarms for a couple decades now (R.I.P. Ben Franklin). I'll find excuses to visit here and leave with way more than I intended to. I recommend talking to Becky for good stories and advice. They have a dedicated Stihl isle, wide variety of fasteners in the back and impressive outdoor plant section. You really don't have a choice to go anywhere else in town and they still keep the prices low. They can also order pretty much anything.

Needed a board cut to put under the fridge, first employee nice and helpful then I go to checkout and the clerk says they can't charge for partial particle board and I stupidly paid 44 for 2'6" by 3' piece of particle board. Why have wood cutting if you can't charge for what you get. Just go somewhere else if you need specific dementions because they will scam you.

Went in looking for an adapter for a ball arm shower arm to standard. I had already done my research of what I would need but wasn’t sure of size. Once in store I quickly realized the inventory was off and they didn’t have the part but I asked for help from an associate to help maybe order the right size. She had to call another associate who then proceeded to argue that the part I was looking for didn’t exist (after showing him the photos and diagrams) and that I’d have to replace the whole arm. He continued to argue so I told him that I would take my business elsewhere to someone who maybe had a clue what they were talking about. A half hour later the wonderful associates at The General store handed me the right part and an hour later it was installed no issues. Probably time to train your employees that Google might be a bit more intelligent.

Short and sweet of it:Pros: Very helpful/ knowledgeable staff. Wide selection, for a small town store. Awesome people who will get to, not only know your name but the kids, your parents, etc..5 starsCons: VERY limited on choice of wood, most of it is warped, cupped and/or bowed. Slightly higher prices compared to most other retailers, brick and mortar & online. That is because it is a small town store and the gas savings kind of balance out the prices, on most things. 3 starsAverage it out, 4 stars overall.

I always have a good experience here.All of their staff are super pleasant and very knowledgeable, and if they don't know the answer to your question, they will (right away) find someone who does. The staff genuinely want their customers to have a good experience. Also, the wait lines are always fast, never a wait, quick and efficient.It's a 'hardware store,' but it's so much more; very cool stuff...Go check them out!Always a pleasure to visit this ACE.

Store has changed a lot since we first moved to Cheney. All for the better as far as more space and efficient layouts. One thing that hasn't changed is the quality of service provided by the staff. Always friendly, courteous, and professional.

Love this place. I don't usually shop but we come here every year to see Santa and we're never disappointed. We absolutely love coming to see him, we find the quality of pictures are better, not just that but they're free and you usually get it printed, digital or like today both. Highly recommend seeing Santa here your won't be disappointed.

Nice hardware store with most everything you need on short notice. Prices are reflective of convenience. Lumber is very skimpy. Otherwise what you would expect to see in a small town. Helpful staff and neat odds and ends. Go there frequently and reminds me of a mom and pop true value I worked at before college.
