Nice store ! Like the stores name it has great variety! Hats,glasses,bandanas,cards,games candy,bracelets,all kinds of swim items, clothes,toys,outdoor play stuff, coolers, some cooking and camping things ,make up,polish,shaving gear,unique items you dont see everywhere lol etc,etc my favorite chelan store!!!

Really neat place, a little bit of everything! It was just what I was looking for as far as a souvenir store, but it had so much more! Friendly staff. Lots of choices for Lake Chelan clothing in just about everything.

Beware. I spent $40 on a sweatshirt less than a month ago and washed it only 2x and the lettering came off the word “lake”. I unfortunately didn’t keep the receipt and they won’t allow for even an exchange. We have a home here and shop there often, but I won’t be back. I understand the need to a receipt, but to not even exchange it when the product is defective is poor business. They’ve lost my family as a customer.

Cute store has lots of things! Pretty much every water toy you could need or desire. Lots of tourists gifts, knick knacks, sweaters, dresses, even some suits. Pretty sure they had towels too! Snacks toys. Just a great variety of things. Even puzzles for those rainy days

Immediate one star because whoever the old white lady is that was stocking the hats and shirts between 11AM-12 PM on August 18th, 2023 decided it was best to tell my wife that she should gain some weight since they didn't have any smalls left. Pure projection of her own weight insecurity, but completely uncalled for in a professional setting. I will come see you if we are ever back in Chelan.

The best “everything” store in Chelan, with very reasonable prices! I love the very thorough games section, they always have lots of new and old options. BEST prices in town for craft supplies, plus a great selection of yarn, thread, sewing supplies, etc.

Who I am assuming is the owner, attempted to aggressively guilt me and my friend into buying a toy car for rolling it on the ground. This business relies on tourism yet has no respect for them.No, we did not buy the item and no we will never shop again at this establishment

Great deals on t shirts!! Lots to choose from! They have everything you need for swimming as well. I had trouble finding a 3x shirt for myself and had given up. The cashier knew where some were and helped me find one I liked! She went above and beyond. They were busy! We got shirts for the whole family!

Want the best floaty selection in town, need a cheap cute bathing suit they have you covered, want something to remember your trip by, the Variety Store has you covered! Love all the fascinating things you find there!

We didn't even visit the rear half of the store, but it looked like clothing on one side. We were in the toys, beach toys and swimming sections, which had lots of floaties, (childrens)masks and squirr guns for pools.It says Variety on the sign and it delivers. Perfect for getting needed pool gear or taking toddlers shopping for toys!$.25 quarter gumball machine directly inside, FYI.

I visited the variety story today with two of my friends. We were looking at toy cars for fun and one of them rolled it on the floor to then be yelled at by an employee to “put an end to it” ok so we leave that area. We looked at some hair brush’s because we did need a hair brush. To then see the same employee staring at us from a corner. I told my friends that were unaware of what was going on. She then proceeded to yell at us again saying “I saw you brushing your hair you can leave if you keep it up. (None of us brushed are hair with the hair brush.) we checked out are items and left. The worst experience I have had my hole life in a store…

I love this place! You can get anything from baby dolls to wiffle balls to beer. They also carry all of the Lake Chelan souvenirs, t-shirts and sweatshirts, not to mention all of the beach gear, swimwear and super cute cover ups. Truly a "variety " store.

It's a nice store for tourists. As for locals, unless you want clothing that doesn't have Lake Chelan printed on it then you're pretty much out of luck finding something you like. Also, very expensive!!! $$$$$$

Great little big store with all kinds of fun stuff from clothing to camping to cards to games and toys to stuff for the lake like floaties and towables. It is a packed store with a lot of VARIETY!

Needed a few things for our trip to slide Waters. They had it all for a fare price. Would give 5 starts but when I walked in the only adult working was rude as hell to me. I understand she was upset with someone parking in the handicapped area that wasn't. But that wasn't me.

Thanks for making me explain to my children why they have to wear a mask and your employee doesn't. I don't care how convenient your store is when I get to spend the next 20 minutes explaining to my kids about inconsideration, ignorance, and breaking laws.

Everything you might need or want for a lake Chelan vacation! Lots of t-shirts, swim suits, sweatshirts, souvenirs, puzzles, toys, boating and sporting goods, picnic supplies, toiletries, greeting cards, pool floats, etc. Big place, lots of parking, conveniently located next to Starbucks and two doors down from Safeway, friendly staff.

Very nice place the are a little high priced but if I cant find something at walmart I'll go to the variety store and they most likely will have. Something like yard stuff and engraving art and some toys that walmart doesn't sell.

Needed a pair of sunglasses. Ran in to get some and I did, plus some other stuff i couldnt live without.The service was fantastic. Very friendly and fast.

This place is like an old 5 and dime store. So much cool, unusual random stuff. They also play great classic rock in the store. Great place for souvenirs from Chelan.
