We love Dr. Fehr and her crew. We’ve recently have had multiple visits with our cat, KikiDee. Other than the annual visits with our cats, they offer Sani-Clips for KikiDee. They shaved her fluffy bum for kitty hygiene, because Maine Coons are big and fluffy. Dr Fehr has also helped us with treating KikiDee’s aggressiveness towards our other cat which now they’re buddies 99% of the time. And just recently they helped us out when we were going out of town and KikiDee had to be on antibiotics twice daily, let let us board her for a couple days so KikiDee didn’t miss her doses. Compliance is the key when taking antibiotics. Also I need to mention that the Village Veterinary also promotes the beautiful felines that need a home that are captured in the Chelan Feral Cat program. Thank you again for your wonderful professional services in Chelan.

Always friendly staff. Treat our pet as if it were their own. We recently had to put our best friend of 13 years put down. The staff was very thoughtful in our time of need. Best veterinarian in town. We would go back to them and have with our newest addition to the family. You can't go wrong with this eager to help friendly staff.

Village vet in Chelan is by far the best vet clinic we have seen. We live on the west side and part time in chelan. 4 years ago our lab pup swallowed a golf ball. Dr fehr after hours preformed emergency surgery and got it out. Now 4 years later same lab has developed epilepsy. It so scary when she has seizures and Dr fehr and staff have far exceeded any expectations I had with their carrying knowledge expertise with this condition and others. They have even called us to see how she was doing! And have her on a better medication that she was on! We can’t thank them enough ! Carole Ann and Jeff Swenson

When Barbara Fehr became owner we took our rescue Wilber Lee fir his initial check up. We were beyond impressed with her knowledge and warmth. Two weeks ago Wilber Lee was 14 and we had to put him down and although we've moved to Wenatchee we drove him to Chelan to Barbara. She was so warm and caring. The worst day was made tolerable. She's the best vet we've ever known🐶❤️ Wilber's staff, Kris and Rich

Dr. Fehr made time to see my dog immediately when he woke with no movement in his back legs. Dr. Fehr recognized the urgency of getting help quickly and referred my dog to an emergency clinic in Tacoma that had a neurology team. The staff at the Village Vet was just as wonderful, rushing to get my dogs records forwarded so the neuro team would have all pertinent info relating to my dog's health, as soon as I arrived. My dog did not survive a massive stroke but I know that because of Dr. Fehr's quick responses, knowledge, and follow up, my dog had the best possible care and everything that could be done was done to try and save his life. Thank you Dr. Fehr and the Village Veterinarian staff.

Dr. Fehr and her team have taken care of my two Pekinese dogs since they were puppies. I wouldn't take them anywhere else. Not only has their routine care been fantastic but one of my pups has had some challenging health issues. One condition has required long-term tests to try to determine what might be the issue and Dr. Fehr has been "dogged" (sorry for the pun!) to get to the bottom of what the issue was. Her out-of-the-box thinking and research was extremely beneficial at determining the root cause, implementing next steps and enabled my pup to get back to "normal" and good health without needing to travel to Spokane or Seattle for specialty testing and perhaps expensive treatment. She also literally saved this puppy's life when she had a choking incident and got a piece of a chew stuck deep in her throat. All measures to remove the chew failed so emergency surgery was done. Dr. Fehr went above and beyond and took my puppy home with her to watch her after hours until she had recuperated and I could bring her home. This is an example of going the extra mile, which she and her team have exhibited over and over again during the nearly four years that I've had my beloved puppies under her care. I highly recommend this practice above and beyond all others.

As a completely overbearing/helicopter LA dog mom to my 2 year old chocolate lab, I had an amazing experience with Village Vet and Dr. Barbara Fehr!We are visiting our family in Lake Chelan from LA and my dog who has chronic health conditions had a flare up of one of them here - which we usually only trust our vet at home with. After mulling over which vet to go to here (as there aren't too many reviews on any) - I called mid morning on a busy summer Friday and they were able to fit us in same day - which is huge! They told us to be prepared to wait an hour and we literally only waited 20-30 min.Ashley, the front desk associate, was sooo incredibly kind, patient, and helpful with my multiple calls and questions. The vet techs were all so nice and attentive as well. Dr. Fehr came out and personally spoke with us at the end of the appointment - which actually our vets in LA don't even do right now and we appreciated that personal touch so much.The procedure my dog had is usually pretty traumatic on him and he had a quick and easy experience here. He also got a rattlesnake vaccine.I never leave Google reviews but as I heavily rely on reviews when I'm out of town and need a service - I definitely thought Village Vet was worthy of a 5 star review for anyone who's out of town and in need of a vet!! Highly recommend! We now have a trusty vet for anytime we're in town. Thank you guys again!!

I recently came home on my lunch break to my dog being very sick, I called vets around my area and they couldn’t get me in , I reached out to Chelan Village Vet and they instantly told me to bring her in ! As soon as I arrived they greeted me , took my baby and ran all tests. They informed me of the process they planned to take and then afterwards what they did. I was given so much helpful information, all the meds she needed! It’s been a week and my dog is almost fully better ! They even called me the day after they saw her to make sure she was doing ok . I can’t thank them enough for saving my girl ❤️

Dr. Fehr, Jessica, and all vet techs were knowledgeable, helpful, and kind to my fur baby, Ziggy when he was very sick with GI issues. They were able to get me in quickly, test, diagnose, and treat Ziggy! So happy to have found a great vet clinic in Chelan!

I left a one star review because of my last visit, however the fact that i had an actual vet emergency this morning and was yelled at on the phone by the assistant and the vet was extremely unprofessional. I asked them to discuss this at a later time and that I am trying to figure out what to do with my animal. It’s the life of my animal and they seem to not be concerned.They insulted me, they had zero concern for my animal and they were extremely passive aggressive. When I asked them not to be passive aggressive she says and I quote “oh there’s no passive aggressive here, it’s open aggression.” The lack of regard to my animal is disgusting and I’m appalled.

I could write an entire book on wonderful Dr. Fehr and her staff are!Only wish we would’ve come here when our Lab was a pup instead of his last year with us. She didn’t even really know us or our dog as much as someone would had we been going there for 12 years with him but treated us like we did! Only wish my husband would agree to another pup just so we can go back! Maybe one day 😍

Took our Girl in to have her foot checked as she seemed to have pulled a nail. They fixed her right up and gave us some pills to for her to take and fight any possible infections. Very informative and great service.

They are very rude and uncaring also started cussing at my wife and mother in law. During the covid pandemic we needed caring for our dog and didn’t get it. Instead got both owners rude and sarcastic I was very disappointed in their bedside manor. I won’t bring or advise anyone to put yourself through that
