Finally tried the new coffee place out... Friendly service, tasty treats, and the Iced Vanilla Breve wad good too. They have a 'Sweetness rating ' of 1 to 5 to curate your ideal sweetness level of your drink. I chose a 3 but will go with a 2 next time... , but I have been minimizing sugar from my diet so others might want a 4 or 5. They have a garage door entry to open up during good weather that make the atmosphere feel interestingly inviting! I will certainly come again.

So glad I found this place after seeing them on Evening Magazine. You won’t find a better donut anywhere. If you’ve ever waited in line for the mini donuts at Pike palace Market in Seattle you’ll have an idea. They’ve taken those donuts and stepped it up a few notches. They also roast their own coffee which is SO good. I had to buy some beans to take home. On top of that I had the turkey melt which was also amazing. I wish I knew about this place when they opened. I’ll be a regular for sure.

I visited The Family Bean today for the first time to grab a coffee and was pleasantly surprised by the service and quality I experienced! The owners were personable and friendly. I had a great conversation with them about how they roast their own beans and how through trial and error they've been able to produce a consistent and reliable product. If you're in the Chelan area, you have to stop by and check them out! Make sure to grab some specialty donuts as well. You won't be disappointed.

Superior customer service is an understatement! I arrived a few minutes after they closed however I was coaxed back out of my truck to come in and order what I wanted… I tried to plead my case that it was Friday, and that I didn’t want to inconvenience them. She wouldn’t take no for an answer. Hands down one of the best hot sandwiches in town! They also sent me with a goody bag to take back to the hungry bears across the street (construction workers) Its refreshing to find people in the service industry that haven’t lost touch with why they are doing what they do. Class act establishment. You will always have my business!

The Family Bean is a great spot for a quick morning munch. The service is quick but the quality of the food and the drinks is still high quality. I would recommend ordering the mini donuts, they have a variety of flavors and something for everyone; I would also recommend getting a coffee beverage, they come with a choice of iced or hot and are all served with a cinnamon mini donut. Overall, I highly recommend this place.

Not friendly! Donuts were old tasting!Updated to respond to owner. - that is not true, we did come in, me and two of my kids. Two people working there were very unfriendly and it was the first time I had been and was not sure what to order, we got coffees and a few donuts each- they were stale and not fresh and cost an outrages amount. If the service had been friendly and not annoyed by us taking a moment longer to order than we could have looked past the donuts.

Stopped by on our way into town for camping and HAD to make it a point to stop back by before leaving town! Great, delicious, strong coffee (definitely for true coffee lovers!) with awesome, friendly service. The doughnuts are great too! Such a cute place. Will definitely be stopping back by anytime we're in town!

What a gem! Love this place! Great coffee, creative concept, love love their mini doughnuts and their sandwiches, holy cow, they are so amazing. I had their Reuben sandwich with jalapenos like they suggest, definitely one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. Definitely coming back again and again and again!

Our first visit here did not disappoint! We tried a variety of donuts...chocolate w/ sprinkles, lemon cream, cinnamon sugar and chocolate cherry... which were VERY fresh and tasty. They have delicious breakfast sandwiches with hashbrown patties, yum! My vanilla latte was great, loved the idea of the '♥' rating of sweetness. My daughters banana-strawberry smoothie was a hit. Family owned and operated! SUPPORT SMALL BUSINESS!!! Can't wait to go back...often :)

I meant to leave this review last September when we made our annual trip to Lake Chelan! Anyway, we love supporting local business and we could not be more pleased with the customer service and quality of food and beverages at The Family Bean Organics. The baristas make your drinks exactly to your specifications. The hot sandwiches were AMAZING and exactly what we needed before a day on the lake paddle boarding. We plan to visit next summer and try more menu items! Thank you for the smiles!

Honestly, we were hoping to love this place. The concept and the product is great. We have been there 3 times and all three time we had the feeling we were more on an interuption to who look like may of been an owner/ gentlemen making the donuts? We know that with this whole Covid thing going on that people can get a little grumpy. With that said we hope the best for your bussiness.

Was looking for old fashion plain donuts and this place came up. Drove over there and asked for plain donuts with no glaze.They couldn't get that right. Went to try one and all of them had glaze on them. Won't make that mistake again.
