I think Ace & True Value are neat stores. I can almost always find what I'm looking for and the staff is always friendly, and helpful. Home Depot may have a bigger store but I'd never say it's better than Ace/True Value.

Great customer service...called in to make sure they had the product I had viewed on-line in stock they were very helpful and brought the product up to the register so it was there when I came in and didn't have to search for it in the store. Made checking out easy and convenient.

I've been in a few times the last few months and every time I've gone in I've been greeted and told that if they can do anything to help with my shopping experience to let them know. Every time I needed assistance they were prompt and glad to help. Checking out they were helpful and informative on their version of phone number and name collection and even got me with an add-on purchase.I've only seen a couple of stores ever following their sales policies so well ever and even fewer that really felt like they were doing it from their heart and not their wallet.

I needed ant killers. Spent a 100$ on traps, sprays, and granules to put down outside. No more ants at the moment. They had a good selection. I even picked up a few bee and fly bag traps. Plus they had fruit fly traps in stocks. Thank you very much for having all the items I needed with the ants and bugs believing its spring outside..

Visited today, great selection of tools but my favorite part was the maw & paw feel of the gifts and home decor. Black Rifle coffee decor and apparel as well!! <3 I will definitely be back, and more often!

I'm very disappointed in the deceptive pricing on their fruit tree's.My husband and I went into check out Chehalis Ace Hardware's plants and fruit trees.. we were told that the trees were 30% off.. they're older tree's in probably 5 gal. Pots. They were pricey, but what isn't these days. We bought two different apple tree's, they were unique one's I hadn't seen before, one was Hutson Golden Gem and the other was Red Rubin. They were priced $89.00 for the Red Rubin and $79.00 for the Hutson Golden Gem. Then got the 30% off which made the H.G.G. $55.99, still pricey, but acceptable. But when I got the tree home I saw the price tag on it that said it was $55.99! So apparently they had these tree's left over from last year's stock, ( according to and employee) held them in the pot, then after holding onto them for a year they raised the price on the Tree's $25.00, them put them on sale to bring it back down to the original price! Unbelievable!So I talked to the assistant manager and told him that the original price tag said it was $55.99 and I would like a refund of the $25.00 and the 30%off.. especially since the tree's had spent a year in a pot probably not in the best conditions.. I infact bought 2 of each tree's.. and I'm sure the Red Rubin's price was also raised!I talked to the Manager the next day and her offer was to refund me the $55.99 I'd paid for the H.G.G. after the 30% off and sell it back to me at $55.99 and no 30% discount! 🤨 Really!?Finally the manager said she would refund one of the tree's and give me 40% off the original price of $79.00 for just one tree! It was obvious they like to play games with they're pricing!Things are to pricey as it is and then to have a store falsely raise the price on a item they have had for at least a year and then play a pricing shell game with they're customers! Thats plane and simple price gouging!I'm a local, I do lots of buying for our home and farm and I have lots of friends that I will be bad mouthing your store to.. you might want to think about that the next time you choose making a few extra bucks over customer service!

Great hardware store for that item you need. You'll pay a little more, but the convenience is soooo worth it. Employees helpful. I'm finding that 25% more is worth not dealing with big box stores. I needed two of the same item and they only had one. Had one sent down from Tumwater the next day and called me first thing in the morning to tell me it was there. Won't get that service from walmart.

Absolutely ridiculous service at the key counter. Took them 5 months to order in one frickin key. Got there and took them an hour to find ONE frickin key. then said they couldn't cut it so Id have to go somewhere else. Had to go to another ACE to have it cut n programmed. Dont waste my time

I love the sales they have on bird seed here! I always stock up! Lots of the staff are friendly and helpful and I appreciate that. It feels good to spend money at a local store.

I was there less then a year ago and was amazed to see that your carrying one of the best if not the best aerosol/spray paint MONTANA when I was' there you guys carried two series from the brand the hardcore series and the 94 series with atleast fifty colors from each seriesI spent well over a hundred dollars on paint and caps I was just wondering if you guys still carried the brand i really hope so I live in oly now but will easily make the drive to buy that product at your store......the reason I ask is I looked up the product in your store and all that came up were the packs of different caps none of the actual paint????? Please let me know id like to visit your store if you do thank you:)
