If this company ever says anything about environmental concerns or "doing their part" or reducing energy costs... It's all a show. If they really cared about the environment they wouldn't have us running our refrigerated trailers burning extra fuel on full blast with the trailer doors OPEN for hours while they took their sweet time to unload your food that needs to stay frozen.Capstone sucks.

No complaints here. Second time here and both times they are on point. Can only arrive 45 min early. Follow instructions that they give you and hopefully it will go smooth for you

Waited 4hrs for paperwork. They had me unloaded within an hour. They do not care how long you sit there. Drivers beware. No parking in or around the facility local law will ticket you for street parking. Can only check in 45 minutes early. Shipping receiving office around back at door 48.

Drivers should refuse to deliver here, maybe then they will unload faster.Checked in at 8:15 AM for 9 AM appointment, gave a dock around 11 AM, it’s 1:30 PM and they are still unloading me. 😡Check out time was 4:00 PM, with 3 pallets back on the truck, some extra freight that they didn’t order.On the positive side, security was very friendly and helpful. 👍

My sons have both worked there at different times and they both enjoyed it in the beginning. But after a couple months they started working overtime. Some overtime is a nice thing and a nice bump in the check. However, when they were refused time off and the schedule changed to “a couple weeks” of 6/12s that lasted 3 or 4 months, all the nice checks start to mean nothing at all. This place works people to death. People need some downtime to relax!!! Not an employee friendly place. If you don’t believe me just check out their turnover rate!!!

Arrived at 8 am for a 9 am appointment. It's 3 pm and still no word on my BOL's being ready. I docked at door 109 and everyone who docked after me is gone. I tried calling the receiving office multiple times but nobody answered.Now I'm just stuck waiting to check back into the office. Definitely not a pleasant experience.

Started working here a few months after it opened. Was great even enjoyed the work and would even work overtime if asked. Then it happened one day they closed their other warehouses and everything came here. Started with working having to work extra hours. No problem just means more money sweet. Then it was working 6 12 to 14 hours a days for the foreseeable future after 2 months of that and the management not caring and just wanting more work out of you yeah I was done. So to the drivers out there don't get to mad at the employees for their attitude they are just being worked to death.

I would have given this company -5 stars worst company like the other drivers shared their reviews here they don’t give damn about drivers time and schedule I have to cancel my pick I have to wait from 11AM to 8PM for them to unload and give me my POD back, when my appointment was at 12PM reached thier an hour early for my appointment and spent my rest of the day for them. Don’t take any loads if it’s UNFI waste of your schedule time and you’ll lose money too if you have other picks and drops.

I'm making delivery tomorrow but I already know. Dozen time I went to make delivery at their ware house took 10hr+ for 2 pallet. Made me late for the next delivery of 5 pallet and hometime. I quit my otr job because dm make me run their load. Prepared to wait!!!! Quiting this job if they send me here again

Typical grocery warehouse don't be late but we will waste your day when you arrive an hour before your appointment time. I wish the public and business cared about truck drivers as much as fast food workers this is a thankless career

Gate guard, very friendly and personable. Arrived 13 minutes ahead of my appointment time. Then, circle all the way around the building, park at the far end and have to walk back to door 248 to check in at receiving. Took almost 15 minutes for the receiving clerk to process my paperwork and assign a door. Instructions are clear, that we are to immediately dock our trailer and chock our wheels, tandems all the way back of course. I have now been on-site for over 2 hours and not one pallet has been removed yet.I was hoping all the horror stories about this place have been exaggerations, but they are all true."Excuse us while we politely ignore you"But if I would have been late, there would've been hell to pay...Oh...what's that? 1 hour and 56 minutes past my appointment time and they are pulling the first pallet....I might get out of here before 5 hours have elapsed....oh joy!

I rather enjoyed the work and wanted to pursue a career within the company, although they have unrealistic expectations of when to get the work done. However, I had an unfortunate bad timing family emergency that forced me to be the only caregiver for my kids. I was in communication with HR the entire time and was told my only option was to resign and reapply when I was able to return. I have done that and yet I have been rejected EVERY time. They say they have their employees backs and willing to work with you but when it comes down to delivering on that promise, they don't. Pay and benefits are great but only work here if you don't plan on having a personal life or family. They discriminate against working mother's and set you up for failure.

They take you on your time only on appointment time so don’t go there before time because you can’t wait there or there is nothing to stop or park so wait nearest parking area and go on your appointment time only there is lumber fees too other thingsthey unload you quickly

My appointment time was 2:00 am. I reached my appointment on time at 2:00 am. Because these people allow entry only on appointment and there is no truck parking outside. First of all, the person checking here is very rude and doesn't know how to speak to the driver.When I gave them the load papers, they did not look carefully and quickly gave me the wrong Dock. and they gave me the dock, I went there and backup my trailer, then after 5 hours these same people told me that it is not your dock.Then when I went to the check-in office again, these people asked me to wait in truck, then after waiting for one hour they give me again dock , so I backed up the trailer again. Then after waiting for two hours again, I went and asked these people how much more time will it take for me to unload the load, they said that it will take another 2 hours, then I said that you people have already taken a lot of my time. You have wasted it so now you are telling me for 2 more hours then he said that if you want to unload the load then it is fine otherwise you can take this load back.These people have no respect for the driver's time. What do these people care about anyone's time because they will do the work and go home but what these people don't know is that the driver's all day wasted and his next load has also been spoiled.These people waste a lot of time. I won't take the next load.And the checking guy is also very rude.I don't even want to give these people one star because it doesn't even deserve.

The staff are polite. However you will not get out of here quickly. Book the night appointment or get it as early as possible if you have to drive the next day. Checked in at 730am for a 9am appointment. It's now 2pm I have been off loaded but no paperwork. I estimate to be out of here at 4 or 5pm. Do yourself a favor and pass up on this one.

I had a 1300 appointment for a dry load. Checked in at 1230. In the door at 1300. Unloaded and paperwork in hand at 1415. Awesome job. Everyone was pleasant and friendly.

DoorDash driver here, and I’m here to say I’m never dashing to this location again. Absolutely rude security and I was unjustly yelled at for trying to find my customer. Props to the kid at the gate who was a good sport. But those other 2 clowns should be ashamed. Do better👎🏻

I had no problem here. I was 45 minutes early, my appointment at noon, left at 1:40. Everyone was very nice. Paperwork was ready when I walked into the office.

Never go here. Refuse the load. Worst distribution center ever. Had 12pm appt. Got there at 11:45. Did not unload me till 3pm. Now it's 5pm and still no message for the lumper fee. I would give them 0 rating if I could. Employees are lazy. All drivers are sick of this distribution center.

Slow is an under statement, 3hrs after my appointment at the door and still waiting for them to start unloading.. there's a steady line of employees going in and out what their doing inside to unload trucks is beyond me..

Absolutely the worst place to find a job. If you're thinking about working here in any of the departments, THINK AGAIN! you'll be treated like a slave in Germany. Do not work here. Do not fall for the corporate scandal they run here. There's a whole world full of better opportunities where you'll be respected and cherished for your hard work. NOT AT UNFI!

Security at the guard shack was nice but the time spent there was ridiculous. Our appointment was for 10 o’clock. We got there at 9:15 and we didn’t end up, leaving till 4 PM there is no overnight parking at this place and no street parking around the building must wear safety vestThe rules

AN ABSOLUTE DISCRACE!!! This place makes me miss any WALMART DC. The lumpers get the load off in a decent amount of time. UNFI employees take for ever to check it in. I never come here with no more than 3 to 5 pallets, and takes 3 to 5 hours to get out. It was better when the were in Tacoma!

My trucks delivered here a lot of times and yes they will hold it from 4-12 hours doesn't matter how many pallets. Also they will reject the produce load from AZ or CA very often. Last our delivery of cabbage they took most and rejected a few pallets and reason was it frozen. Now customer blame to us even though reefer download was showed that it was on 36F from the day we picked up. Doesn't make sense how one part is good and other frozen lol. I got one bag of that rejected cabbage and it was't frozen the product was in good condition, way better the one they are selling in their stores. This is my last delivery here, they don't deserve our hard work. To UNFI when you don't want the product and need a reason to reject it please find the one (like product bad) that won't get carrier in trouble, otherwise more and more carriers will refuse to deliver you.

Unfortunately the reviews are right, checked in at 12pm for 1pm appointment…got a door at 3:30pm…checked out at 9pm…Unfi blames capstone and vice versa it’s ridiculous they both could care less about your time. One star for having restrooms for drivers.

There really should be a way to leave negative stars as one star is about 6 stars too many for this place.All will be OK you get to the receiving area- then the angst and employee attitude will begin.You will be VERY lucky if you can get out of here in under 12 hours, it is painfully slow, as all the other drivers here have mentioned. Expect to see several shifts of people come and go before you are even close to being let go, and they have ZERO interest in fixing this issue because after all these are the same people championing Self-check at the stores they supply.Soon Karen will have to run the forklift to feed her Family, and there isn’t a darned thing any of you can do to stop it because soon enough Kroger will buy this place and it will ALL be the same!
