Pioneer West is the place I go to for my tarantula supplies. They have a great selection of tarantula food! My lil buddy prefers live crickets, but they also sell live meal worms. Also bought a new terrarium from their store. My tarantula is definitely enjoying the extra room!

This is "Carlos" and he is a very healthy fish we purchased at a fair price from Pioneer West Garden and Pet Store. He is about the size of a small Chihuahua (he's a HUGE fish!) and is a happy, hungry guy! They have a great selection of EVERYTHING you need and the staff was so friendly they all said goodbye to him and told us about his name. Love this place and strongly recommend!

Love going in here and looking at all the cool and interesting things and animals. I purchase all my aquarium stuff and also fish from there. They are always healthy and taken care of. I also bought my Axolotl there, he is so cool!

I like going to this nursery for the personalized help and knowledgeable staff. Unlike the big box stores, if I have a question, Pioneer West will do its best to answer it thoughtfully. Just discovered they babysit pet reptiles which is not a service I need, but...you might?

I have always loved coming here an still do! It had been awhile yet I was able to get the present for my mom that she really wanted a bleeding heart plant I called they looked an had one which they held for me til I got off work. I so appreciate their kindness to do that... An it is adorable❤️

Lots to look at in this store! Plant selection is beautiful If you don't see something you're looking for to talk to the staff they can look into ordering it for you. Lots of fish to look at the axolotls are adorable. Normally have bearded dragons and a few different types of snakes and all the supplies you'll need to take care of it all.

Always so kind! They took a fish in from me I purchased somewhere else (they pet store lied about the breed and it outgrew the tank and my budget by 5x what it was supposed to) and didn't shame me or make me feel worse than I already did. They are so knowledgeable and kind. I go here for bugs for my critters and they are ALWAYS kind, professional and ready to look something up if they don't know instead of sharing misinformation.

Phenomenal, knowledgeable staff! Everything from pet supplies to gardening and houseplants. Their fish & pet section is always a big hit with the kiddo. They also grow the hanging baskets that look so beautiful in downtown Centralia every summer!

I heard through a fishkeeping group that there were fish here. Drove up from Lacey and was not disappointed! What a great place! There is a nice variety of plant. And gardening supplies, as well as fish, shrimp, reptiles, birds and pet supplies. The aquatics area was really nice with beautifully scaped tanks and healthy fish. Can't wait to go back!

<Google randomly requests review while i'm on a car ride and i'm game haha.>Been coming here for years, besides the last couple months mostly due to moving. The manager they've had a while is awesome, and they should hopefully still have a few girls there that are super helpful with reptiles! They're much much more welcoming and personable than the other two stores! They clearly treat their reptiles, (especially bearded dragons) with much much more proper, complete care than the one store on Main St... Plus these guys are the only ones in the twin cities loaded with cool, useful AND reasonably priced inventory! This is the best choice even beyond LC, easy!

Way to overpriced. Good thing nobody price shops anymore. I'd understand a small upcharge but most things are sold for 2-3x the price of most places. Not good for if your on even the slightest budget. Shops like these are why everyone shops online.

I absolutely love this store. I use them for all my turtles needs from fish for her to snack on to light bulbs and filters. I also love the variety of plants and fun animals that my kids like to watch. I highly recommend them for all pet and plant needs.

I love this store! They have a small but impressive indoor plant selection, and a massive outdoor plant selection and they also sell pet supplies and pets. The people are always friendly when I go there.

What an amazing staff! I love to come here for all our reptile needs. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Heck they even stayed open late one night because we called and were rushing to get to the store before they closed. We had rescued a unhealthy bearded dragon and I thought he died a couple times on the way to pioneer. They put him under a heat lamp while we shopped and let us borrow some towels they warmed up just so we could make it home with him. We returned them washed and left a thank you note. I strongly believe because of this amazing team our bearded dragon is alive and healthy today. Mushu thanks all of you at pioneer and we can’t thank you all enough. Amazing staff and just a all around wonderful place!!!
