What a great store! We love shopping here when we are in the area.I always feel like I am shopping at a mom and pop with the way the staff treats me! The staff is friendly, helpful, and show pride in their store. If I need help or have questions the staff is always happy to help me to the best of their abilities. I love how neatly the seasonal and holiday items are set close to the main isle are when you enter the shop. This Dollar General carries all the basic items we need for everyday life and events. My friends who live in the area shop here often! They love not having to walk/bike/drive 5+ miles to a large store when they may find all the basis here!

Generally speaking this store is an easy stop. Their shelves are usually well stocked with merchandise and not ever all that busy.

There's been two new Dollar Generals open up this year. One at Kresky and Summa st. at the south side of the viaduct and the second at either the 1400 or 1500 block of Harrison Ave. I've been to all three stores in the Centralia Chehalis area, the 3rd being on Reynolds Ave just a couple hundred feet from N. Pearl in Centralia. This one would be my 1st recommendation, followed by Kresky Ave... gonna feel foolish if I spelled that wrong.. lol now the newest $1 General on Harrison Ave isn't quite operational in my opinion. Stopped in, one block from home after a stressful day at work for a gallon of milk and a few things for snacks and lunch products. My phone's screen was cracked and lately it was starting to give me problems so while I was about to leave I noticed they had a bit of a selection of cell phones. That's where (BOY DID I CHOOSE THE WRONG TIME AND PLACE) to buy a phone. Clerk was on the phone with 🤔 the owner or manager 4 time's regarding the key to the cabinet, ringing it up... know what? You can't have everything go smoothly all the time.. they were really nice about everything although after about 30 minutes I was told the phones weren't in the system and my money was returned for that. I hope everything works out better for them soon. I'm disabled and standing there was not a good thing. I wish them luck and yeah, I'll go there again. Um... not to buy a phone and probably not going to buy the milk there either. It's $.50 less a few blocks east at Safeway.

I absolutely love thus store. Being from cali and all I fell in love with dollar general a long time ago. Just super happy they could bring it to an area that needs affordable yet trusting products. I usually stop here on my way back over the mountain for a toy for my 3 year old son and snack for the 5 1/2 hour drive home

If it wasn't for the manager, Alex, at the Dollar General store on Reynolds in Centralia, WA; I wouldn't give it this high of a rating. Because of lack of help, the poor guy seems to never get a break! He's courteous, funny, friendly and helpful all the while trying to stock shelves and keep the store clean. Hats off to Alex.

The store was very clean. People were keeping social distancing per government standards. Of you had a question the lady was helpful but did not show me where the product was But her verbal one ructions were spot on. 4 star just because she did not personally take me to the product.

This is a brand new store,a well needed place for this section of the city,prices are fair - awesome, only complaint is parking & safety towards entering parking lot, there should be a turn lane for crossing over the yellow lines. But very grateful for the opportunity to shop at a DG again...last time I shopped at one I lived in Buffalo NY(been back here over 10 years now)

Dollar General is my kryptonite! Everytime I go in for one thing I come out with a cart full!! It never fails. This store has the best selections of beauty items, food, cleaning supplies, and the cutest home decor/seasonal items.The prices are amazing for everything as well. I bought the cutest, softest blanket I've ever had for only $15! I can't get enough of this store and I'm so glad we finally got one here.

I really like coming here. I checked them out just a week or so after they opened just recently and they had a waaaaay bigger selection of products than I had expected. They're much different than the Dollar Tree. Depending on where you live, this could save you a trip into Walmart, or if you just don't feel like going somewhere thats flooded with people. You'll find pet food, energy drinks, things like toothpaste and tooth brushes, cleaning supplies. They have quite a bit of stuff. Its kinda like Grocery Outlet, but not as big. Go there!

First of alll... this place has no right to call themselves the DOLLAR General... I just spent $15 on like 5 items, nearly every item here costs exactly (or MORE) what you would pay at Walmart or any other grocery store for the same items or factory rejects/expired/cheaply made versions.That being said, I'm writing a bad review because the employees here are terrible and falsely accused/embarrassed us. She accused me and my boyfriend of stealing because I had a purse and he had his backpack on which he never took off or got into. We are used to carrying our bags because we were homeless for awhile and too often would get stuck places without our belongings. I paid for all the items in my basket and left with a receipt as proof. The lady told me to empty out my purse and while I wasn't comfortable dumping my personal belongings on the counter I did try and show her inside my purse. She was not having it, probably feeling stupid herself. I am owed an apology, which I'll probably never get, so just don't shop here unless you have nice clothes and $$$$ to spend because otherwise you'll get accused of stealing and made to look like a theif! Employees need retrained or fired.

Went here to do some quick shopping. Ailes are to narrow, no big bags of dog food. Watched a lady in 20 or less check out have to cancel her order and go to another check out cause the digital coupon wont work. To crowded in front of store. Parking lot to small.

I can’t say that I have ever experienced such selfless gratuity! This is a super store to shop at all the people are genuinely helpful. They have a great variety of stuff to purchase and at a great price. There isnt a lot in this area so its been a great addition for Inexpensive places to shop!

I found a lot of cool and useful items in this store at very inexpensive price points. Mind you not everything is a dollar but still everything is affordable. The only thing about this store is it's kind of beaten path even though it's neat a couple of main streets which makes it easy enough to find.

A stinkin' joke! Nearly nothing was "$1.00 or less!" As the sign said. We left, buying nothing. I'm sure Dollar Tree will drive this outfit out of business. Oh! There was only ONE employee there and she was away from the checkout register, but kept shouting that she would be "right back" up front during our very short visit. We won't be back.

People are nice here. One of the guys even carried 2 cases of water to the register then to my car for me.
