My family took a 4 day vacation to Great Wolf Lodge and needed a place nearby to board our pup Arlo. He's a very high energy 1 1/2 yr old golden retriever and we had no idea how he would do staying somewhere besides his home for 4 days and 3 nights. But he did great.I can't say enough about this place. It's just a few minutes off the freeway in Centralia and 10 min down Hwy 99 straight to Great Wolf. The property is set back in a residential type area but off of several streets tucked back. There's a beautiful main home the family lives in and then their business is down a gravel driveway to the back. They have a very impressive setup. Several buildings with different purposes. Training, grooming, doggy daycare and boarding. When I saw the property and setup it was obvious they are devoted to what they do.Check-in was easy, I handed Arlo over with collar, leash, a new Tuffy toy with no stuffing, his blanket and his food. They will feed your pup what they feed their dogs for a small extra fee but we felt keeping him on his own diet was best. They provide a raised bed for your dog so we just brought his blanket so he had something from home.They asked about his social behavior and we explained he's gone to the dog park a couple times but hea not an alpha dog so we worry about other dogs being aggressive. So they found a nice female labrador retriever dog for him to play with during his stay.They are very careful to ensure all dogs are current on vaccines and that if dogs aren't fixed they are kept with other unaltered dogs.When we picked Arlo up he was of course excited to see his family. But he was happy, and it was obvious he was well taken care of while he was there. He had outside playtime and got to socialize and we were happy with our experience. Price of $35/night also seemed very fair. Next family trip we will definitely be using their services again!

I did like this place overall. When I took my dog home after he stayed overnight for a couple days with Centralia Pet Resort I noticed my poor dogs collar was overly tightened while he was there and he couldn't breathe properly and he was basically suffocating for I don’t know how long! So please make sure you examine your pets when you pick them up! I do not recommend this business for proper overnight dog care.

We dropped off our lab for the dog daycare service while we went to Great Wolf Lodge for the day. The staff were all super friendly! She seemed super happy to go and when we picked her up we could tell she had a great day of play. Next time we come back, we’ll definitely make a visit.

Had a family emergency and needed to bring my mother's dog to be boarded. They helped me even though they are busy for the holidays. They even helped administer a kennel cough booster. SO THANKFUL TO THESE KIND PEOPLE!

Second time watching my dog was difficult for them. They are pretty old and not able to handle dogs who have energy. IF you have a dog with a lot of energy DON'T TAKE YOUR DOG HERE. They can't handle it. Plus who knows how much attention they actually give your dog. We picked up our dog who was hungry and had blood shot eyes. Our dog was not invited back, not like we'd bring him back anyway. But they did try and take care of him and put in the effort so 3 stars. They seem pretty ok so I'm bumping it to 4 stars.

Scott, his wife, and son do a fabulous job taking care of our unruly crew. I drive 60 miles from Seattle just to board here. They are the best!!! In 10+ stays they're always happy 😅

I called to see about toe nail clipping for my puppy. Whoever answered the phone answered with a snarly tone. As soon as he realized I was a possible customer, his tone changed instantly. It made me think that there was a possibility that my dog would be treated with the former snarly attitude. I'll keep looking for another groomer.

Scott trained my pitty Sarai, who has since passed on... He's very knowledgeable and definitely knows how to get to dogs, even the head strong breeds. I'll be bringing my new chocolate lab there as soon as she's old enough. I also used their boarding facilities for vacationing. Sarai would get sooo excited as we drive down the road... Every time.

I took my daughter's husky here when she was in California to visit. They did such a wonderful job with her! Provided some guidance to my daughter on how to manage a husky as well as fit her collar properly. The difference in behavior in only one day was notable! We will definitely be back.

First time we boarded our young dog who is somewhat antisocial. We had to board her for 8 days over Christmas and were concerned on how she would adjust. Our/her experience was great. They were fantastic with our dog and she was very happy and well cared for when we picked her up. Definitely will board her there again.

This is an okay place if you can’t find another doggie day care. They owners aren’t the friendliest. The son seems the nicest. A smile really wouldn’t hurt. My first experience was good. My puppy was worn out but did have a small scratch (not a bad thing just wish they would have told me, so I know they are checking the dogs). The second time they didn’t take her out enough it seemed and she peed when she came out. And not from excitement. That night she didn’t seem well exercised either, she was running around like crazy. She had been there all day. They’ve openly mocked another business that is a competitor to them. One that I’ve been going to and still go to for obedience and behavior. I just feel like the dogs are just money to them. Not that they actually care.

Clean, large facility. Brian is great to work with. Our puppy stayed overnight and we didn't worry at all. Sure enough we got back a happy, unharmed, well fed and groomed (we paid extra for a wash) dog.If you're going to great wolf Lodge then this is very convenient

Tried this place for the first time. Piper usually gets very depressed when I'm not around and they said she never acted depressed and had a buddy to play with. She will be going back for sure whenever I'm out of town.

They did a GREAT job on my chow mix. He is an outside dog who gets into everything but they got all the pitch and mats out of his fur and he looks amazing! He was happy when we arrived and happy when we left, we will definitely be going back!

We left out 10 month old French bulldog here for 2 nights while we were at Great Wolf Lodge and couldn't be happier with the service. Before we even arrived, Scott went over and above to ensure that we were well informed and satisfied with our choice. As soon as we arrived, it was clear that our pup was the main priority as Scott took her out to use the bathroom and stretch her legs after the long drive. Would 100% recommend the Centralia Pet Resort. He even gave us a shortcut to Great Wolf Lodge!

We have used them for training and grooming. Our experience has been good on both fronts. Their groomers are always busy and booked out a ways. That tells you something! Scott is an experienced, ethical and effective trainer. Very fond of this place

We dropped our dog off for 8 days. Our dog loved it! Centralia Pet Resort went above and beyond to make sure our dog was happy. Scheduling was very easy. The price is unbeatable. We will definitely be bringing our dog back the next time we are out of town!

I was excited to call and learn more about this place because it was recommended by a friend. The website has zero photos of where my dog would be staying so I called to see if they did tours. The lady who answered the phone completely turned me off from the entire place. She was rude didn't want to explain anything all she wanted to do was give me the rules and get off the phone. They do not do tour a because of Covid- go somewhere else. Everyone is doing tours but this place. I understand she was probably busy but if you can't take the time to make me feel good on the first phone call my dog would never stay a week with you.

When we went to pick up our dog they tried to give us some one else's blanket and toys. Our dog came out and acted strange to us, she didn't get excited or anything. It was like she had been given something to calm her down and make her sleep. I will not take her back again.

I was worried about leaving my dog at first because it was her first time in a boarding kennel, the dog was happy and seemed to be well taken care of when I picked her up.Actually, I think she wanted to stay and play with the other dogs longer, because when I picked her up she wasn't as excited as I had expected.The people at the front desk were friendly as well.

Hands down, the best ever for pets and their people 😊 Scott, Gail and team are amazing! They do it all with excellence, training, boarding, puppy daycare, grooming and all that you might need in natural healthy food, snacks, collars leashes and toys. Incredible people! Great facility! Family owned and operated. Biarding, grooming, and training on all levels. Scott is amazing! Kind, compassionate, and his experience and knowledge level is unmatched. I wasn't sure if puppy classes were just a thing for first time owners or.... But as a longtime dog owner, this 'Mom' handler has learned many things. The basics to avoiding developing bad habits instead of trying to undo them. This equals safe happy dog and much less stress for owners! :-)

My pup returned to me with a deep, long cut on his hind leg. I was told to pick up from daycare at 5:30pm, although they closed at 6pm.The staff is not very friendly. I had to request a receipt when they asked me to pay cash, which took an insane amount of time to produce. It felt like he wanted me to get tired of waiting and just forgo the receipt. I also get the impression that they are not very loving to the animals from their tone of voice and lack of affection towards the dogs. We will never return!

My dog seemed happy. He had been brushed, which I greatly appreciated. He had leftover food and treats, so I guess he wasn’t fed the same as at home.

I'm not from the area and had to attend a business meeting in Centralia before leaving on vacation. I called ahead to ask if they would accommodate a one time daycare stay. The lady was pleasant and agreeable. When I showed up the older man at the counter was a bit of curmudgeon in that he wasn't very friendly and stated if my dog barked or bayed she wouldn't be welcome back. He wasn't interested in her at all. I left with a bit of trepidation. Luckily my meeting ended at noon. A different gentleman was there when I picked her up. He was very friendly to me and treated her with care. Over all it worked out but I wouldn't leave her again.because I felt the one man was a bit rude.
