A fun way to enter (or exit) Washington! We came across northbound aboard the motorcycle, 2-up, headed to Olympic National Park. Total fare was $4 (cash or checks only). Quick and easy. Today was also "National Talk Like A Pirate Day," but the friendly staff talked normally. 😆👍 Highly recommended mode of sailing.

so much fun! so cheap! ferry leaves every hour on the hour & it really is a social experience. the crew are friendly, safe & too cute for words. everyone gets out of their cars to stretch their legs & chat it up. dogs pant. kids laugh. smooth ride over to Oregon gave me a break from driving.not everyone knows about this little gem. it's a rare experience for the Californian in me. totally recommend this experience!

Love it! Super smooth ride even with choppy waters! Great Captain, you don’t even feel the normal numb when pulling in to the station. Seen 2 gorgeous bald eagles in a tree. Highlight of our Sunday ride! It was only $6 for whole car load of us!!

This is a great way to get across the Columbia River. Passengers are allow to exit their vehicles and enjoy the scenic views. The ferry leaves Washington on the hour and leaves Oregon on the half hour.

We took Oscar B from Puget Island to Oregon on a day drive. The wait time to get on was only 10 minutes.The Oscar B River ferry operates on the Columbia between Longview/Rainier and Astoria.

It was my sons first time on the ferry. It was calm, and less choppy then other ferries I have rode. Made a day even more fun. Cash or check but you can buy a punch card. Pretty sure we are going to just to ride it back and forth.

What a fantastic way to get a ground-level view of the mighty Columbia. The ferries run every hour at 15 after and are a very reasonable $6.

Loaded up fast. Pretty ride. You are allowed to get out and walk around the ferry. Nice personnel.

$6 regular vehicle/ $11 trucks, cash only. About a 10/15 minute cruise to the other side. Fun, you're able to get out of your parked car and walk around the ferry.

We enjoy riding the ferry every now an then. The people that work on the ferry are always nice and even give our dog treats.

Wow! The ferry itself is a Virtual @geocache and the Washington side has an Adventure Lab location. Neither require a ride on across but it's fun to take one.

Had a fun excursion! The ferry ride always tops the day. The people are friendly and helped scout out birds of prey that they had seen on previous trips of the day. Worth the time to experience when you're looking for a fun drive. Ferry ride is approximately 12 minutes.

A lovely quick transfer between WA and OR. Used to able to spot Bigfoot on one of thebislands from the ferry but someone took them down :( If you stop in Cathlamet for fun, take the ferry that runs on the hour across the river and stop by Gnat Creek Hatchery for a nice break to feed the fishes and an easy relaxing hike to the creek.

Wonderful, scenic trajectory that cuts substantial time off of getting to Astoria from Washington side of Columbia. Short jaunt across the river from island depot but you're riding a piece of real history aboard the mighty Oscar B! Go Already!
