First of all Bredfields is very dog friendly. They have treats for your pup too. It was my first time in, so I looked around and there is a wide variety of just about anything you need. We compared two prices on a couple of items and one was the same as Amazon and the other one was double, so check prices if that matters to you. Sometimes buying local is more important! The people were so friendly, I left the store feeling happy!

The workers here at bredfields are friendly and welcoming, they always have exactly what I need when I go in there, and the guy who works on chainsaws in the back gets things done as swiftly as possible. well done bredfields.

Buying a new chainsaw was very easy. Great customer service from happy and knowledgeable staff. I found the prices to be pretty good also. Sales people here go above and beyond to make sure you are happy with your purchase.

I ordered paint with them and paid up front. They told me I could pick it up on Tuesday and when I went there after no phone call from them about my paint the person at counter said it's probably here the truck came in but it's not all the way unloaded. They never called me at all. So next day I called and the truck is still not unloaded. I asked them to look for my order in the truck or return my money because they have put my project back a couple days and I have a deadline. It's run poorly.

I don't have anything particularly negative to say about Bredfields. I needed something, they had it. The staff was helpful and they had a good variety of items to choose from. It's good, but not exceptional, but it doesn't need to be.

I have shopped at Bredfield's True Value for as long as I can remember, and their courteous staff was always helpful.However, in my most recent visit (early August, 2020), I was greeted with a female staff member wearing a "TRUMP 2020" face mask. I found this to be very rude and disrespectful of others' opinions (political or not), and left the store immediately. Starting today, I will refrain from shopping at Bredfield's, so long as that woman's pathetic, partisan behavior continues to go unaddressed by store management.I have never been more disappointed by a local business. At least big box home improvement stores respect their customers, and not just their money.

Today I was very disappointed in one of the local businesses that I’ve been shopping at for a decade. This pandemic definitely brings out the best/worst in people. Employees had masks on (most the time) but instead of being greeted with a design or plain face covering, you’re greeted with a TRUMP 2020 mask.As a business I’d think they would want to make ALL customers feel 100% welcome and ALL customers comfortable. I asked if the owner knew they were wearing those masks and the reply was “yes, they bought them for us”.I’ll take my business elsewhere until Bredfields of CR can support ALL their customers. I don’t even care if it’s a TRUMPSTER business I’m supporting, as long as they are respectful of my differing political views. This was blatant disrespect and a poor ethical business decision.

I went here because I was in a pinch and needed a metal rake. I was surprised to see they had spade and flat shovels for $9.99 but the cheapest metal rake they had was $17.99 every ace I've been to has them for $9.99. A lady working there asked if I needed help finding anything and I asked her if they had any rakes for $9.99 and she rudely says "no we only have what's on the wall" as I tried to inform her that other aces had them (thinking she may want to order them) she turned around and walked away from me while I was in the middle of my sentence. I'm giving them 3 stars only because they had a rake, but if I lived in this town and was just stopping by to grab something I could easily give them 1 star.

Good variety of hardware, housewares, paint and lawn&garden.They also have a STIHL power equipment section with a service shop in the back.The staff knows their stuff and are good at getting me what I really need and not what I thought I needed.

Need this or that? 20 bolts, repair your old drain, paints, obscure this or that? Yep, they probably have it!Plumbing, electrical, yard stuff, tools and much, much more.Great prices, knowledgeable staff & usually have whatever you may need.

I gathered several pieces for a project and left them on the counter to gather more as I have always done. My son and I politely avoided the non mask wearing staff. When we got to the counter with a lot of other stuff a lady wearing a Trump 2020 mask said our parts had been lost. Like she was punishing us for wearing masks ?I dont care about her politics but we were treated badly and this was the best way to describe this person. After many years they have lost a customer. I will drive to Winlock or Longview for my stuff.

Great employees, but take the extra time to go to home depot, where you can at least return a defective product and get your money back without being passed on to the manufacturer to deal with yourself. Stand by what you sell wether you ordered it or you carry it on your shelf.

i felt like the store employees were watching me like i was stealing it makes me wonder if they do that to everyone that comes in the store makes me not want to stop there and I needed help finding the right item and they couldnt help me at all makes me wonder if they even know where they work

More like a small General Store than a hardware store. Many of the hardware and repair supplies are in small quantity and resupplied infrequently, so if you need a reasonable quantity of anything you need to go to Lowe's or Home Depot.
