I can’t say enough good things about Ron and RRRaceway. I lost the key to my late-model truck at a remote bike trailhead while on vacation in Winthrop. After riding to the lodge that evening, I thought for sure I was going to have to either hitchhike back home for a spare or get a replacement from a dealer the following week. The following AM, (after failing to secure a ride home) I called RRRaceway. Ron answered the phone at the crack of dawn, got all my information and informed me that he had the correct replacement key fob, he could get me into my truck, and he could could get everything programmed on-site. He even gave me a ride to the trailhead (with several side trips up to the ridge to get cell-phone service). Ron was incredibly professional, courteous and competent. I wish I was local so I could take all of service to him. Very grateful to have crossed paths with him.

Words can't express how grateful I am for Ben and the team at RRRaceway locksmith. He made a very stressful situation for me and my friends camping turn into a good one and saved the day. I was afraid our vacation was ruined when the keys to our RV ended up going overboard in Alta Lake. Locked outside of the RV on a hot day, it looked bad. But in less than an hour our door was unlocked, and he was even able to make us a new key for the vehicle so we could drive back home. The service was quick, polite, and effective.

I think RRRaceway is a wonderful service..we are lucky to have it. My sister's car locked..while running to warm up..on a full tank of gas! He came promptly..got in..and saved us from our folly...we felt foolish..but turned into grateful. If only everything had such good endings. Contacted this location for service and they rudely rejected the service. While I understand this is an small town, being open to work with people working remotely could open your door to more business.UPDATE: This reply is for the owner, I never requested service in Texas, I called requesting a rekey which the lady answering the phone told me "no" that she didn't work with 3rd parties. It was assumption on her part but she didnt allowed me to say more. She instead suggested I provide my CC and have someone local call in the service request. For clarification, a number calling from Texas doesn't mean we are in Texas. What if I am traveling? Anyways, my suggestion is that you are open to work with people working remotely, but at the end of the day people will take their money where the service is better than the one I received over the phone.

I am so beyond satisfied! Not only did Ron unlock my car quickly, he made me a spare key on the spot. And at a significantly cheaper price than anyone else quoted me (I have a fancy chipped key)!Ron called to update me on his location, ETA, made sure I was safe and made sure he knew exactly what he was going to be doing once he arrived (aaa processed my call wrong). Ron was so friendly and made the whole process stress free. I got great information on how worn down my original key actually is, and other services AAA provides that may be helpful to me.To say he went above and beyond does not even give the service I received justice. When we purchased our home a few years back we wanted to change all 12 interior and 3 exterior door knobs to door levers. We also wanted to key all of our exterior doors so we only have 1 key for all our doors and deadbolts. I contacted RRRaceway Locksmith to handle the job. He also suggested we key our shop to match the house, so we have 1 key for everything. This makes it so easy. Ron Race was very professional, knew exactly what to do, had all the tools and knowledge to do the job. We have had NO issues with any workmanship. Best locksmith experience I’ve ever had! We forgot the key to our bike lock which was around our bikes on the back of our car. Ben immediately met up with us in Twisp. And we were still able to do the bike ride we had planned for that day.

In August 2020, my granddaughter and I were on a social distancing road trip and stopped at a local park in Winthrop, WA for lunch. After eating lunch, we decided to walk near the river, so I locked my car up and we headed out. On our way to the river, I realized I had locked my keys in the car. I called this business and they informed me their people were at least an hour to an hour and a half away and gave me another business to call. I called that one, and another, and they wanted so much money to come out to unlock my car, so I called RRRaceway back. I had to wait about 45 minutes, but they were the least expensive and when they learned I had State Farm insurance, they wrote out my receipt with all the information State Farm required, and even gave me the original copy of the receipt (which State Farm required) to turn into my insurance so I could be reimbursed. I was so grateful to them. My granddaughter jumped for joy when she saw their van pull up to my car. Lol. They took just a few minutes to unlock the car and were so friendly. Ron helped me after I lost the computer chip inside my key fob while on a walk a few months ago. The situation had become pretty messy before I contacted RRRaceway for assistance. We have used RRRaceway locksmiths in Twisp multiple times over the last 5 years, and they have been outstanding. The technicians have been very knowledgeable, friendly and prompt. We have used them for our auto, house, and RV, and they do excellent work. I have used other locksmiths in the past, and we have been very disappointed and even had them damage our RV, but the work that RRRaceway does is superior. They have the most up-to-date computer programs, extensive knowledge of auto, home and even gun safes, and the technical data and machines to cut even difficult to find keys. Their prices are good and most of the time covered by our insurance, and when compared to other locksmiths, are usually better or comparable. We have always been pleased with them and would recommend them without reservation.

I am so grateful! Ron came to my rescue when i threw my keys into Lake Chelan along with a ball I was throwing for my dog. Ugh! He was very friendly and relaxed and it immediately calmed me down. We lost our keys while camping. After looking for hours we called RRaceway. He was very upfront that the key he had may not work and potentially we’d have to wait until the next day to get a key from the dealership and that he would come out with a “ Hail Mary” potential to get us on our way. If the key worked it would be in the ballpark of $400, not chump change but it was a Sunday in a remote area and keys are very expensive theses days. Ron drove about an hour one way and spent over two hours trying to help us but unfortunately the work-around wasn’t successful. Even though he had over 3 hours in on this job, on a Sunday, he charged us NOTHING and offered additional help if we couldn’t find a locksmith with the very particular key needed.We did find another locksmith to the tune of $900! If we weren’t in such a desperate situation with a family member in hospice waiting for us to return we would not have agreed to the other locksmith’s price. Ron at RRaceway = class act. So if ever stranded in Okanogan county, call RRaceway!

Ron and his crew have helped me many times over the past 15 years. A few memorable examples: 1. Re-keying my restaurant (10 doors) with master keys for managers and keys that only worked on certain doors for employees and delivery drivers. 2.Changing the ignition on a minivan when it went out 3. Replacing a faulty combination lock on a safe.They can do ANYTHING that involves locks or security and with very prompt and courteous service!

Very patient man. Had an older car with key fobs took three computers to get them programmed. Also had a problem with the ignition switch. He stuck with it and got everything working. Charged a fair price. Paid a fraction of what would have cost me at a dealer. Very happy with the service.

I was on vacation in Chelan, 4 hours away from home and dropped my keys in Chelan lake.. I was very emotional, not only because it was my only key. 5 days before I was told I have a tumor on my thyroid. Ron had no idea what I was going thru. He not only stayed up late to verify ownership. He also got up early and found a key fob at the nearest dealership. He was very honest about prices and never sugar coated anything. I called him several times with questions and he was so understanding! He had told me it was 70% chance he could program the key. So when he was able to start my van, tears ran down my face. I am forever grateful for this wonderful human being (locksmith)!! The key fob I had bought did not come with a key. After moving into the replacement house after the Carlton fire came through, I was not used to the new keys and locked myself out 3 times in one month. Being new to the area I called the closest one I could find in the phone book and it turned out to be a blessing! No matter how far away he was, Ben came to the rescue each time. The 3rd time he felt so bad for me that he did not even charge me. We discussed how to help myself from having to go through that again.
