Had a really great car buying experience with Zach at Dwayne Lane! We were referred to Zach by a friend and he made the process so easy and straight-forward. He was also kind and super responsive to my million emails, lol. I was up front with him that we didn't want to waste time and "be sold" and he totally got it, and respected it. The whole Dwayne Lane team (I apologize I can't remember the finance gentleman's name!) were exceptional, prompt, and respectful. We even got a very competitive rate for financing and their financing process blew Navy Fed out of the water. So so glad we went this route. Would highly recommend purchasing a car through Dwayne Lane! Go give Zach a shout!

I contacted the dealership through one of the car search engines and received a quick response and set up a time to look at a used Dodge Challenger. When I told them we got a late start, it was no problem. Chase, Matt, and the rest of their team were excellent to work with. This was by far the best car buying experience my wife and I have ever had. We drove over 2 hours to get to the dealership and I'd do it again in a hot minute the next time I'm in the market for another vehicle.

Dwayne Lane's buying experience was exemplary. Our sales associate Joel was so very helpful and didn't pressure us. He listened to our needs and concerns and was upfront about everything. He didn't pressure us to hurry or make a decision we weren't ready to make. The finance manager Elmer answered all our questions and explained our options clearly without trying to influence us to purchase unwanted extras. After the sale when we had questions they were quick to answer our calls and help us with our service and financing inquiries. The best car buying experience we've ever had.

Lost the battery in my 2018 Subaru Legacy. Went to parts department and there was one gentleman, with zero personality, who asked me what he could help me with. Told him a new battery like what I took out (Group 25). He started punching numbers into the computer and told me "the battery has been updated so now you need the updated version which requires a new insulated battery box because it's taller." I was quoted $405 for the battery upgrade plus tax and installation / servicing. I'm thinking $500-$600. I had already removed the battery myself so I went down the street to NAPA and bought EXACTLY the same battery I wanted for $129.99. Perfect, did the job as expected (Checked voltage and current draw-down overnight for possible short - all good. Alternator putting out 13.5V so eliminate that, too). I was not even offered the same battery I just took out. It was the "new one" or nothing.Attempting to take advantage of people who don't know better, especially older folks like me who are unaware of options, illustrates a lack of integrity in my book. We won't return nor recommend should anyone ask.

This review is for the parts department, specifically Angela. Had a job going on a Friday, and my local dealer only had one of two needed seals in stock, just to find out the other seal was out of stock also but inventory showed one. Called the Lane's of the Dwayne in the Skagit of the 'ol Scooby Doo Subaru and she had both seals ACTUALLY in stock. She was even so kind as to turn her driver around to pick up the seals and bring them to us one county away. Professional, friendly, and accommodating. True excellence in the automotive industry.

We enjoyed working with Joel. He was very responsive, helpful and knowledgeable. Most of the staff that we met were candid and amicable, and seemed genuine. They also kept the dealership really clean and sanitary, which we appreciated.However, they push really hard on the sales pitches for the extras at the end. At this point, we were tired and ready to sign and go home. It felt disingenuous, and like we were getting ripped off. I felt like they preferred to address my husband since he was the "man" of the relationship, even though I handle our family's finances. There were also some major mistakes made on the paperwork, which made me really uncomfortable. It put a sour ending on what was otherwise a good experience. We love the car, but you guys have to make this part of the process a bit smoother.

Service was prompt and service representatives were helpful in explaining filter location & installation instructions missing in manuals.OEM is still neglected to furnish charts or schedule lists for preventive maintenance on items requiring normal interval maintenance. This is not controlled by dealer, but still lack of documentation.

I'm happy with the service department but they get one star for constantly mailing me super sleazy extended warranty offers with "second/final notice" scare tactics.2024 update - scratch that, no longer confident in their service department. They recently ignored my request to investigate driveline noise (missed the failing bearings), misdiagnosed an electrical issue (they blamed it on the brand new "non-Subaru battery" which I later confirmed is just fine)...and overcharged for a brake job.My impression with them is that they aren't great if it's not a recall or basic maintenance on a brand new car.

I just purchased a 2022 WRX from them, and the whole experience was great from start to finish.The internet manager Taylor was great at answering questions, and getting me information quickly. I was also able to do a lot of the paperwork and running numbers online, which was appreciated.Zach the sales consultant I worked with when I got there was helpful, and had a great time talking about cars in our downtime. Very knowledgable staff!I was especially happy there were no hidden fees, or adjusted markup - especially in our currently climate. All the numbers I was shown were accurate and transparent.Happy to be back in a Subaru, will do business here again.

I had a fantastic experience buying my new Impreza RS at Dwayne Lane's. Joel Nations, my sales rep, was awesome to work with. I sent an internet inquiry and he was upfront with pricing and availability of the vehicle. I went for a test drive with him and he was great at answering my questions and letting me just relax and get a feel for the car. After I decided I wanted to buy it, we arrived at a purchase price agreement and then he really shined. Joel has encyclopedic knowledge of all the features of my new car and was tremendously helpful in making sure I knew how everything worked and how to get things dialed in as I gain experience in the car.I also want to give a thumbs up to Trevor in the finance office for being very professional and courteous. In total, the entire process took less than 2 hours from the test drive to the drive home. That's much appreciated. Thank you!

I called on Wednesday to make sure the prepaid oil change etc was still in force. During covid the car was not used often. I was assured all was well. Thursday I took it in for the quickie service and was told it had expired. Lesson learned.

Took car in for new tires and brake service. They charged me nearly $1k to turn the rotors and replace the pads. Absolute scam! But thats not the worst of it. They either forgot to put a bolt back in on my front driver side caliper or never tightened it and it fell out. My entire caliper fell away from the rotor and was hitting the inside of my wheel. So thankful that it didn’t catch on anything and cause a horrific accident. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE! Im terrified to find out what other corners they cut or forgot.

Bad people doing bad business. Avoid this dealer at all cost...I brought my car in for a recall service and I had asked if they could check if the noise I had been hearing was caused by the recall. Apparently the noise wasn't caused by the recall they were working on so they charged me over 200 dollars just to tell me I need new spark plugs.... Cool. Didn't fix it just wanted to charge me over 200 dollars. I could of had it repaired (parts and labor) for less than that. The worst part is they cleared legit bad codes and said everything was good. They had told me they were all old codes that had been previously cleared and randomly decided to light my dash back up. Um yeah...pretty sure cleared codes don't come back unless something is triggering them you dingus (Hi Glen). How dangerous and irresponsible of these technicians to clear a bad code and say its fine. You even documented it on paper and sent a mom on the freeway with her 7 year old.... How safe, all because why? Too lazy to trace a code back to its origin? hmm pretty sure that's what you were paid to do... You put Subaru to Shame with your terrible customer service and disregard for other humans. Thank you for not even caring or accepting blame on your sloppy work. This dealer is horrible and they don't care about your safety they just care about your money. Go elsewhere. Dwayne lanes you should of never took on Subaru if you can't even diagnose or work on them correctly..

Okay, so I’ve really kept any misgivings Ive had to myself for a few months because I hate using a single bad experience as justification to speak negatively. But a recent “straw” is leading me to leave this, hopefully to be a small poke to this dealership or those purchasing a vehicle there.Pros: friendly, helpful staff. Taylor was a great and patient help in getting my outback ordered and Craig was amazing with showing me around my new car. The workers in the service dept. we’re very helpful and kind. Really very little complaints on how responsive people at the dealership were.Cons: So this is really quite likely failings at communication and minor oversight…Dwayne layne didn’t accurately document extras I’d ordered for my vehicle that didn’t end up being delivered (were discontinued after they’d been put on my order) it took about an extra two hours at the dealership to get the charges taken off my vehicle price for the items that didn’t get installed. It took four hours to get my new OBW…and I already had a check from my bank. All I had to do was take ownership of it, and it took four hours? My husband had purchased a brand new Subaru from a dealership in another state a few years prior and it was 1.5 hours from start to finish. But time aside: if we hadn’t gotten down underneath to see that the steel skid plates we’d ordered weren’t installed, Dwayne Lane would have happily taken our money to pay for those nonexistent items. It took 45 minutes of back and forth between Zack and the guy in the back office to finally communicate that we weren’t paying for the thing that wasn’t on the car. It was exasperating. So please be aware that you need to check EVERY SINGLE ITEM on your order to make sure they are in fact installed.Okay, so that experience that would make me second guess going through the process of ever buying a custom-ordered car ever again was what I’d really just written off as a thoroughly, painfully, bad experience. It’s been five months…love the car. It’s great. But I just realized that the Thule cross bars Dwayne Layne put on my car we’re put on backwards. Just….really? I mean, I get they’re somewhat similar on direction…but they’re definitely designed to go a certain direction. And on top of all this: all those things that WEREN’T installed by Dwayne Lane because they were unavailable, after hours of a very exhaustive back and forth to some entity that I can only describe as trying to mediate with the Wizard of Oz, we just decided not even argue the fact they didn’t reduce the “installation” cost of the plates they didn’t install. SO, I paid $360 for Dwayne Lane to put on my cross bars backwards.COME ON

Usually they're great.Today though, they were so busy that I think my tech, different from my usual person, didn't seem to realize I was STILL waiting for my car 45 minutes AFTER it was already finished.Please stop trying to sell us your expensive tires. Also, Subaru in general needs to STOP asking to buy our older Forester from us! The answer is and always will be NO.

This is an honest customer review we bought a used Tiguan from this place this year and in 4 months had a check engine light ,we went to them to get it fixed since it was still under 6000 mile warranty , for a week it ran fine then came back on took it back ,we live in Renton btw ,received a rude service manager named Gary that just yelled at my husband over the phone and told us he’d charge evertime we came back for diagnosis of the vechicle. We said we make would make a complaint about how we were treated, he called us back and said to bring it in at no charge fixed for a week now it’s with out a 6000 mile warranty and has the check engine light again and epc light , they are horrible and not reliable and a dishonest dealership , they obviously did not fix the problem and waited it out for the warranty to expire now we’re stuck with the car with engine problems , Amanda at service was also not honest with us about the car problems we had to keep calling her for an update on our car she did not care about us as customers. Had to go back to get this fixed twice with no result and no help, super frustrating to know they just took our hard earned money and they didn’t bother to help us fix the car they sold us , they never called or cared about us as customers and were brushed off , don’t go to them and definitely! Don’t buy a used car from them .The hard working people of skagit stay away from this place .

My experience with their service department was outstanding, Kayla was helpful and very knowledgeable. Another service associate, Glen, was there to help me as well. There was no charge to service a problem with my window (Kayla got me in for the repair the day I called) and while I was there they gave me a very good price on tires, this just does not happen at non-Subaru dealerships in my experience. I have had my Outback serviced at several dealerships around the country and they have all been excellent. Dwayne's team was a notch above.

This is where I get my crosstrek serviced, and it’s always been great. If you are military mention that at the beginning and they will be accommodating per their policies. So far they haven’t tried to push any maintenance that seems unnecessary or preemptive for the sake of revenue.
