Lazy and rude! Tried to purchase over $200. But couldn't get it to my car! Had to drive all the way to Oak harbor. I'm old and handicapped! Good news the Doller Tree in Oak harbor is staffed with awesome employees. I do this twice a month! 😡

I'm always here picking through. Used to have 5lb bags of ice but no more. Hours seem to be different on different days. Great staff. It's actually the 1.36 store now.Estas Bueno para hielo es solamente 5# para 1.36La comida es bueno y la gente es feliz

So tired of the unpleasant manager. She loathes helping customers. She reluctantly opened a lane for about 5 minutes (2 customers), when I got in line with 4 items she said ”I’m closed after them”. I asked her to check me out since the other line had a woman with a full basket. Without looking at me , she said ”I’m closed”. I left my stuff and walked out. I’m reporting her and my incident to corporate.

By far the worst customer service of any local dollar trees I've ever shopped. I've been to this location many times and every time there's only one cashier working. I waited in line for one gal ringing up what seemed to be an order for a good friend if not a family member of hers and after a couple of minutes she said "the cashier on number 3 can help you I'm closed" so I went to number 3 only 2 costumers in front of me but both had many items. So I waited awhile and looking behind me another 5 or 6 people lined up in back of me. Looking around the store while waiting I see this same cashier who told me she was closed walking around.. straightening up items on shelves... Priority for her I guess, not the customers waiting to check out. When it was my turn I asked the cashier if he had anyone coming to help. He simply stated " I'm the only cashier here." I paid and said, voice raised enough for the other employee to hear me, "I hope you get some help soon your line is half way down the isle." I walked slowly to the exit door and kept looking to see if the other girl was going to help but evidently the shelves she was " working" on was her only concern.I understand when places get busy.. I don't mind waiting. But when there are other employees that are so blatantly lazy and have this I don't care attitude, who see the lines pile up and don't do a damn thing????? How do they keep their jobs? I'd fire them in a heart beat! I won't be returning to this location. Period

Love this locationfor several.reasons friendly staff very clean and usually pretty well stocked even with supply issues everywhere is facing. Keep in mind there is lines but like everywhere else stores are struggling and needing staff and not everyone who is an employee is cashier trained as there is a freight crew and a merchandise recovery crew that is in store during open hours. Employees are doing the best they can during these times and with what they have for staff. If your stressed in line think about how the cashier or managers feel.

Horrible ! I used my debit card said it was declined ,I check my bank online and it was taken out of my account. Manager was called and she said it’s a hold I had to pay for it again. She said it would 24 48 hours before it was returned. So I said I have to pay twice and then wait for you guys to refund my money in 48 hours. She said yes. So I went to pay for it again lady in line said I’ll pay for it because there’s a long line in a rude way I grab my bag and said then pay for it then. Savings 17.08

This store is the cleanest and most organized dollar tree ever. Everything is where it should be, the whole place smells nice, and the employees are kind and helpful.

I arrived at the Dollar Tree on Saturday around 1:00pm. I noticed no available handicap spaces within a reasonable distance to the store.This was my first visit to this store and I spent probably 30 minutes or more looking up and down each aisle to see what was available. The store was clean, for the most part, most items seemed well stocked and wide variety of products. Speaking as a crafter, this store does not stock many items for crafting and was a disappointment.As I said, I was in the store for a while and had no employee greet me or even make eye contact with me. Upon checking out, the cashier only spoke the total due. Nothing else.I do not recommend this location for the lack of customer service alone.

Very crowded today with only one cashier but she kept the line moving (7-9 people in line when I was checking out, and it never diminished). Two other employees were present, stocking and gathering 'displaced' items, both were polite and helpful when customers asked questions.

They have a good selection of mixed items. The older female employee with the short blonde hair ( I dont know her name) working in the morning is always by herself at the checkout and works hard and has good customer service. She needs a promotion or a raise! The line is usually long and I see other employees stocking items and don't seem to care to come up and help check out the customers waiting in line. I guess stocking the items are more important than collecting the money and checking the customers out.

Horrible shopping experience! The manager enjoys yelling at her employees in front of all the customers, including kids! So rude and disrespectful! Yes, im talking about the lady "MANAGER" that was stocking the isles at the Burlington Dollar General by Target and yelling in front of everyone! You shouldn't even have a job there, let alone be a manager! Someone needs to turn YOU in!

Lived here only a year but every time I go into this store, a woman named Jamie is very rude. She was giving snappy attitude today when I called because I had left one of my purchases and when I arrived the person up front called for her and when she came up she yelled at him saying my purchase was right behind him. Have had attitude from her before and honestly if it’s more than one time, it’s no longer just a bad day but just a bad attitude. If you can’t treat customers or your employees kindly then you shouldn’t be working with customers.

There are two Dollar Tree stores in the area and the Burlington store is my favorite. This Dollar Tree is cleaner, better organized and has much more merchandise. Best of all, the staff at the Burlington store are by far the friendliest and most helpful. I have to drive twice as far to go to this Dollar Tree, but it's a drive I am more than willing to make.

Most of these Dollar stores are pretty much alike, some merchandise varies between stores.Depends on what you are looking for, but as is obvious nothing is more than a dollar.If you have the time, check it/these stores out for common place items....such as cleaning supplies, $1 is far better than the $3+ that major stores might offer similar items.

Great place to get some everyday items at a fair price. At our local store, the staff is very courteous and always eager to help me find things. I usually use a debit card and since my name comes up on the receipt, they thank me personally for shopping there.

Favorite store. It has name brand products inside. Just look carefully and you will find them. It might be a dollar 25 but it's still a place that I shop at no matter what the price it is it's still my favorite store to go to if I need something to go to the Dollar tree cuz I know they have it

Went in looking for receipt book. Found a student planner with dates through December 2019. Going to make it work! Spent $23+, better than the last time, $41.xx. Also found the "Awesome" cleaner, recommended by several friends. Probably use it on the van, get the weathered stuff off.Spent over an hour at the Dollar Tree, think I looked at everything, and had a good time! Even got a very small container of Haagen Dazs ice cream and ate it in the parking lot...$1 for ice cream, wow!

There were 6 people in line, one needing a number of balloons inflated and the manager Nicki stepped outside and left the one employee and all of us customers in line waiting. The associate made no effort to call her for help, when I asked her why, she responded it did not really make any difference. Cheap stuff but lousy service!

Has some items I regularly buy at a fraction of the cost in a store like Safeway or Walmart. LED light bulbs discounted by power company for $1 is a fine example. Cleaning supplies for a dollar.

I like this Dollar Tree, they are in the middle of a remodel so things were a little hectic, but this store(Burlington) is always clean and neat! The Mt Vernon one should take a lesson 😊

Nasty manager, not helping her cashier with backup when 15 customers standing in line, also 2 other female staff hiding out in a closed door room after seeing and commenting on how many customers were waiting. Will NEVER enter that store again. And will tell my friends not to bother shopping there.

i love it thier u can find anything there for only $1 sometimes thier taxs but if u dont have 0.01 they say its OK thier so nice ever go plus its so fun plus u can go to walmart find duck tape for like $5 but if u go to the dollar its only $1 thier u can save over $100 dollars thier thats why i rated this store a five star store

Jeez, EVERYTHING is a buck. Great place to buy Birthday cards 2 for a dollar. If you even THINK you need something then you better buy it or you will be ticked off at yourself when you can't find it again !
