Erin taught our 1 year old German Shorthair Pointer to "settle"!! I'm still impressed everytime I watch her manage her own energy and excitement! As much as I had a hard time parting with our sweet puppy (Pepper) for a whole month, it was well worth the investment. When we picked her up, Pepper showed us how much she enjoyed her time at Countryside, and came home a well oiled machine. We found Erin so open and upfront with the whole process. She even taught us how to extend Pepper's training further and we are so pleased with the results.

Erin did a great job of turning our 1yr old black lab from a wild, stubborn puppy to a well-behaved and respectful dog. We are one month post training and while she continues to test us, she does a great job listening and with little correction. She does a great job on the leash and the best part we are happy with is her recall. Can’t be the price either.

They did an AMAZING job training our German Shorthair Pointer who, ike most GSP's, was nearly unmanageable. However, after a couple weeks of boarding and training, we were returned with an amazingly loving and obedient dog that has also become a fantastic hunting partner!

Erin was absolutely awesome to work with and very helpful and knowledgeable. When I picked my boy up I was amazed how well he listened to commands and honestly was a whole different dog on so many levels. We are thrilled with the training our dog Monty received at Countryside Kennel. The most helpful part is that it was not just Monty getting training but me and my husband as well. We learned how to help him continue to learn. He has been so well behaved since training ended. When we've taken him out we always get compliments on it. If we get another dog, we would definitely put them through training here again.

We sent both our Great Dane mastiff mixes to Erin for training. I recommend her to everyone! We sent the dogs for obedience training because we were expecting our first child. It was the best decision we ever made. The dogs stay on their beds while the baby is on the floor. I can walk them off lead while wearing the baby with no worries that they will run off. They get to go more places with us because they are so well behaved.

We had both of our family dogs trained here. They are awesome. Both dogs were taken care of very well and people were always impressed at how well our pups were trained. I have referred multiple people here. Everyone has always come away happy. My brother has also had a dog trained here and referred people there also. We just picked up our Golden Retriever from her 30 day obedience training. This is the third dog that we have sent to Countryside Kennels and we could not be more satisfied with the quality of training that’s provided there. Countryside Kennels really deepens the relationship you have with your pet. We will continue to go there with every additional dog! We first heard of them from our neighbors who brought their Pomeranian! They work with any dog, big or small and do an excellent job. Thank you Countryside Kennels!

I just picked up my dog from countryside kennel and they were absolutely amazing. When I dropped him off he was flipping out on other dogs after being attacked from one of our dogs. When picking him up he was so well behaved I was literally in shock! The owner is absolutely fabulous you can tell she knows so much about animals. I would highly recommend them to anybody with a dog with behavioral issues and my dog came back absolutely wonderful! You will not be let down!!!!! This is money 100% well spent and an amazing investment in our family pet.

Really happy we sent our dog for training at Countryside!Kevin has been back for about 4 months now and his results have been great. You still have to reinforce what your dog has learned when you get on your own turf but you are given the tools and knowledge to make it a quick success. The rates are amazingly inexpensive for this intensive training -that's why the wait list is so long -but well worth it!

I brought a rescued dog to Erin that was impossible to control. Erin taught Zoe skills that brought purpose to her life. Zoe now understands sit, come, heel and stay. Zoe has been with me now, for 10 years and remains a great companion. I recommend Countryside Kennel one hundred percent.

Let me start by saying I was having a rough puppy experience. My Australian Shepard was a very high-strung dog. I had to have a lead on her anytime the front door was opened. If I didn’t, she would bolt out of the house and it would become humans herding the herding dog. She would almost always trip me when taking her for a walk and there was one time she took off out in front of a car and almost got hit. In the house, she targeted and chased my cats. I was hoping being a puppy, she would adapt…. Boy, I was wrong.I was telling my frustrations with the above to a coworker one afternoon. He told me of Jill at Countryside Kennels and what they did for his 2 Dobermans 10 years ago. He said that he took 2 unruly dogs to them, left them for 4 weeks, picked them up after a few hours of training the humans. He said that his family got back perfect dogs.I got their number from my coworker… so I reached out to Countryside and talked with Erin. I wanted to see if they still professionally trained dog since 10 years was a long time. She explained everything to me and what was expected. I was very happy with what they had to offer so decided to go for it.They were already booked out into March 2019 but Erin offered to put me on a cancellation list. A month went by and I got a call asking if I would like to take her to them the beginning of December 2018. I jumped on it!What I got back is a loving dog who has major self-control! I have no problems with her running off… or even going through a door without permission. The best part is at dinner time, I say Mindi go to your bed… she goes then lays down. I tell her to stay and she stays. I do this while we cook dinner and eat. This can take an hour to an hour and a half. She is real good and loves to keep us happy. And it's nice not having a dog jumping on a door wanting to get in because there is human food on the other side.Jill warned me that she may still be nasty to the cats… I am pleased to say that they can co-exist in the same room.Thanks so much Jill and Erin! No love shown toward your animals at all!!! I would NEVER recommend this kennel for your family dog!!! My once happy and trustworthy one year old lab came home with MAJOR aggression problems. My dog was there for the recommended 30 days and was horribly ill when we picked him up. We got him home and my vet diagnosed him as extremely malnourished, suffering from dehydration, clinically tested a fecal sample to properly diagnose two intestinal bugs (giardia and clostridium), multiple wounds on his elbows, legs, feet, face, and swelling in wounded areas. Keep in mind the trainer said my dog was never around any other dog and never ran, but just walked while being trained. Dog was dropped off at this training facility weighing 93 lbs and was picked up weighing barely 79 lbs. Dog was emaciated, no muscle tone, chest and sides were sunken in, ribs showing, and in my vets words in "appalling condition". After we got him home and contacted the trainer the next day - she said that he had fallen ill around the 2nd week he was there and instead of calling us, they diagnosed him themselves and practiced their own unlicensed veterinarian skills by dispensing prescription medication for 7 days. Didn't disclose what kind of medication they used (type, strength, or dose) until after my own vet had by then treated him with a different medication. We were scared to death we would lose our dog - part of our family! Their contract says they are not liable for dogs contracting intestinal illnesses, but their business license clearly prohibits them from practicing as a veterinarian. Before and after pictures are SHOCKING and I will share them with everyone in social media! This is an e-collar based training, but she didn't use the low shock collar that I provided - she put a heavy duty knock him to the ground collar on him without our permission. If you do not believe in kicking, hitting, stepping on, punching, etc - DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE! Owner of facility will take NO responsibility and said she is not liable for anything. EIGHT months after picking the dog up and we are still dealing with his health and behavior problems. How very sad for my dog! Don't let this happen to your pet! My dog had wounds everywhere on his legs and face. We picked our dog up and had the 3 hour training session to teach us the commands, and trainer said she had to punch him in the face and kick him away from her. Told us to do the same in the training session. Wasn't a single review (bad or good) on Yelp, Google, BBB - until I put a bad review. Begging for good reviews now for business??? I hope so! I would like to add that even though we brought his bed, they refused that we leave it and said they would provide one. He slept on concrete for three weeks until his elbows were completely ruined! Scarred so bad they have horrible calluses.

My parents are retired and love to travel. Sadly, the dog that they got in their old age does not like other doggies much or young children. So when they travel they take Toby joe here :)I am now out of the house with 3 dogs of my own. I am so happy to use their services! They have an amazing staff and no issues with breeds! Can't wait until toby joe, rambo and chewy come for their Christmas getaway at countryside!

Just came back to pickup my a little Teddie and found such well take care , happy dog. They were professional and at the same time personal.The place is clean, spacious and people over there truly love animals and best yet price is good.I highly recommend this place.
