This place was perfect. Very primitive. Quiet and camp sites aren't sitting on top of each other. We loved it and will be back!

Collin's campground is located in the Olympia National Forest near Brinnon. WA. In the Duckabush recreation area 3.5 miles of paved road & 1.5 miles of good dirt road. It's an older campground and has 16 campsites 10 sites are for RV:s It's a primitive campground on the Duckabush river. Swift rapids, Not recommended for large RV's no power or water & no sewer hookups. 2 set's of restrooms (primitive no showers) I love the sound of the river all night long. The road was washed out earlier this year. It has since been regraded & open for summer of 2022.

This is a great campground, there are trails to walk and a waterfall near by. It also has tons of places to walk along the river. It is a great place to get a way even for a day. Fishing is great I caught a 12inch and a 6inch trout up the river. P.S. make sure to bring toilet paper the vaulted toilet doesn't always have any.

If it was open I think camping there would be real nice. Beautiful river front for all sites pretty much. Road to get there could used to be filled/graded.

Great campground. Most of the campsites are on the river, with some great views. Each campsite has a picnic table and a fire pit with a cast iron grill on top for cooking. Close to some trailheads as well, great location, just make sure you get there early enough since it’s first come serve.

Fabulous spot on the beautiful Duckabush River. Most sites are right on the river, with many enchanting scenes just a few steps away from your tent. There is no drinking water available here, which is fabulous, as it deters the kind of campers who tend to raise a ruckus after dark. No reservations are accepted, but if you come on a Thursday night or early Friday, likely to get a site.

For being a small off the grid Campground, it was enjoyable... some spots close to the water, others next to water holes (not for swimming). It is aways up the road/dirt road, and the loop through the Campground itself is narrow and has some good size potholes. Down side, middle restroom was closed and the end one needed dumped also. Vaulted bathroomsRestrooms: Vaulted toilets - small single one in the middle of loop and double at the end of the loop. Dog-friendliness: Dog friendly, keep them leashed or in a pen. The creek/river has a good flow.

It was gorgeous out there. The potholes leading to the site were... interesting, like playing bumper cars, but the river and site are stunning.

Nicely maintained, small, quiet campground. All but 2 spots are on the river. Clean bathrooms. No potable water. You have to bring your own.

I LOVE THIS PLACE!! It's my favorite place in Washington!! I've camped all over the state and this place is the best I've come across! It's the only spot I go to now-a-days!! The only thing is you need to get there on a Thursday if you're camping for the weekend cause the spots are limited and it's always filled during the season on weekends!! ENJOY IT AS MUCH AS I DO!! ITS SO PEACEFUL AND RELAXING!!

I'd give it a 5 but the vault toilet right across from us was closed. The Ranger came by ONCE in the 4 days we were there. Tweakers took over a corner of the grounds. It didn't matter if you paid or not ( we did). I spent an entire night listening to the Tweakers argue over a gallon of milk. It was not like the last time we were there. Normally a peaceful place but now overcrowded. I'm sad to say I will not be back . I used to love it there

This is one of my favorite camp grounds! I've never stayed over night for camping, but I've visited the sight multiple times and I think it's great. The scenery is really beautiful, combined with the deep forest feel with a river running through it, it's truly a spectacular place.

Just came back from camping for 2 nights got a pretty good spot. Liked the first come first served rule. River was pretty didn’t see any fish where we were at but the drive was scenic and beautiful. Definitely coming back when it’s a lot warmer. Had to layer up!

Filthy bathrooms and noisy campers. The only good part was Ranger Jim and he's moved on unfortunately. Ranger Christina doesn't replace toilet paper and other non-functional, non-fun happy camper actions. Also, the roads wash out.

Great campground. All the sites but 1 has private river access. Site 8 and 11 are the best sites. There is no garbage or water only outhouses, 2 cars per campsite. Not ideal for trailers. Quite, secluded, great hikes near by. I would come back.

Remote and tucked away.Real nice fire pits to sit fireside at unlike some of the other camps further into the park. Close to river but posted no swimming due to Falls just down stream. Great Fishing. Bring your own water from pump at the Interim Cabin a few miles back towards 101. Like most sites modern Pit toilet no running water bring your own TP to be sure it is there if you need it.

Small campground, pit toilets that were stinky. Set on the river only a couple of sites have no water access. Not reservable. The is a cold swim spot upstream from the campground. Most sites are grouped in pairs so going with another party is best. Very close to the state park and Seal Rocm for ocean access. Some beautiful falls a short drive and hike up the road. Gorgeous mosses.

This is a great little campground with some nice spots and a nice little river access. I would definitely go back to this campground again. We were able to get two sites next to each other big enough for 4 very large tents and a canopy. Great spot for a family trip.

I love this little campground. It is remote, but close enough to go to a store if needed. There are a number of things to do around that camp. You can hike to the waterfall. Watch the Elk in September by Brinnon School. You can fish, clam, oyster and crab. It is a sweet little blessing hidden in the woods.

I love the secluded location by the creek. Minimal traffic offers privacy. No running water and bathroom was out of toilet paper but otherwise great location for a single camping night!
