Generally speaking, nice staff. Never know who is lying when it comes to refills though as my doctor says they aren't contacted and Safeway Pharmacy says they don't get a response.I get it, pharmacists do NOT have an easy time right now. This is why I am rather patient nowadays, but when i am repeatedly told my doctor's office doesn't respond and my doctor's office says they were never contacted...Ultimately I just blame how abysmal our healthcare system is.

Very rude pharmacist (white male ginger). Told me the reason why my meds are not there because it has been ready for two weeks. When in reality I got the notifications 4 days ago that my meds are ready and to reply “APPROVE” if I want a refill. Other than that, other pharmacists are very nice.

I would like to share a review about the produce. It’s ridiculous on how much groceries are already but it’s really sad when you rely on delivery and they don’t pick out your fresh produce products. I can tell that they’re kind of lazy when it comes to picking out the produce I get rotten strawberries I get moldy cucumbers. I have also noticed that there are items like the cheese with the grapes The dates are outdated and they’re still selling it when they’re bad.

Misleading information on meds "picked up for delivery". That just ment their delivery carrier picked up. Took another 4 days! Last two times refills took over two weeks. Not ok.

Been using this pharmacy for more than 20 years. There's me, 86 yo mom and 21 yo disabled daughter - so I'm there often. Mostly friendly, helpful and responsive to questions. And on many occasions, they've gone above and beyond, solving problems with insurance, prescribing doctors and out of stock meds. It's just nice to have a local place where my family is known. And the negative reviews? Sounds like entitled whining 😆

Worst pharmacy in county. Didn't catch drug interaction. Always a wait. Always rude. Tell you your scrict isn't ready when doctor said she called it a day ago. I'm writing this in line waiting. Shocker! Switched pharmacies to the one i already know and love. Zero stars. Could of killed my kid.

This is the worst pharmacy I ever been to. Even the walmart has better customer service and quick to deliver than this place. Many times I had place a medication for pick up and 1 hr later, prescription is not ready. Ok fine, but this time they over did it. I place an order ONE DAY before pick up and place another one 1 to 2 hrs before on the day of pick up. The one I had a order a day before was NOT ready! And the one I had order 1 hr ago, they forgot about it! Now I have to wait for them to get my prescription.....I am literally waiting here for it..also the pharmacist and the lady there seem to hate their job. Their facial expression says it all...

Safeway Pharmacy is a mixed bag of good and bad experiences. The system the pharmacy uses seems to be quite dated and difficult to use. As a result, the employees have to work extra hard to do a good job. Safeway Pharmacy has yet to convert to electronic prescriptions. The faxing system seems to create more work and headaches. I really want to buy local, but the online mail order pharmacies are looking better and better.

One of the techs wasn't terribly professional, can't set up auto refill for us, when we wanted to use a goodrx coupon for a drug that wasn't covered by our insurance we were told that because we had insurance we couldn't use the coupon even if they wouldn't pay for it because of "antitrust laws" which is imaginary. They ultimately took the coupon but made the whole affair a hassle.

Gotta love your local Safeway pharmacy. You can go in and pick up. You can have someone else go in for you and pick it up. Or if you just don't want to go in and have no one to go for you. Have them mail it straight to your house. They can. And will. Check it out you'll be pleasantly surprised. I was.

The pharmacist won't even stand up or say hello to you. He just sits there and stares. I understand that this isn't the best neighborhood and they probably deal with some unsavory people but nobody deserves to be disrespected.
