Super knowledgeable and friendly staff, amazingly organized store, fair and even competitive prices, very exotic selection, and they have the ability to order in animals they don't have. 100% would recommend a visit and catch those deals they have! Nothing better in MILES.

Love the service and information. He was very knowledgeable on ferrets. I just bought a ferret from there. Cages are well maintained and the animals are very healthy. I would come back again.

I came in this place 2 times today I absolutely think its super cool my daughter really enjoyed it. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable about there reptiles. I can't wait to pick up my snake tomorrow. Also the store was clean the cages where clean. I can't wait to see when the paradox get more reptiles and products. Thank you for your guys help with the snake and giving me info I needed to be a successful snake owner. 😁

Went in on 4/19/2023. Pretty upset by what we saw. Water dishes were mostly empty. The ferret pen was disgusting. The 1st employee we saw didn't acknowledge us and was just slothing around with a bag of water. The other employee was walking around just kissing a ferret. We were in there for 20 minutes and didn't get a hello or can I help you. Then theres a donation box... for what? Definitely solidified my opinion toward breeders. Hope these critters find better homes. Very disturbing and lethargic environment at Paradox Reptiles.

The staff are incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. It's obvious the animals are well cared for. Christian is a great guy and really cares for all the critters. I highly recommend this place for anyone in the market for reptiles and other exotic pets.

Excellent selection, except the cool pets aren't for sale because their breeders. Repeatedly disappointed by their feeder insects. Especially the pricing matrix. They admit don't upcharge for large crickets, instead they sell all crickets at the same price. Instead of paying fifteen cent each, I went five minutes up the road to farmland pets and got the same number of crickets but for seven cents each.

Such a cute place! I got two male rats here and they are very sweet:) only thing I recommend is if you get a critter here, bring your own container to bring them home in. They provide a small cardboard box that’s not so comfy. But I love this place!

Wow! Talk about a professional, knowledgeable reptile walkabout. I was impressed with the expertise available and the experience. I had the privilege of witnessing first hand knowledge, care and training the staff here exhibited. As, I walked through the exhibits I witnessed staff, training customers on the care and upkeep of the reptile, amphibian and rodent populous. It was tantamount to a zoo visit. Customers were allowed to experience up close and personal; the reptilian experience. The exhibits were well maintained and classes in session. I was impressed! Great job Paradox!

This is a pretty cool place, with super friendly staff. We have taken our son here a couple times just to browse. We were greeted with friendly smiles and asked if we had any questions about anything. They didn't pressure us to buy, and ended with a friendly goodbye. Really cool reptiles to look at for all ages!

Fun shop just to go in and look around even if you're not in the market to add a reptile to your family. Kids are sure to be fascinated by all the little dinosaurs. They have tarantulas and fancy rats too. Fun store and very knowledgeable staff.

Owners are incredible people. One gladly spent close to an hour just letting us handle rats and snakes, swapping stories about seemingly every critter in the shop. It became obvious that this is not your usual "pet store" - these animals are well cared for, treated like family by people that don't just mill them out for profit. THIS is the kind of place you want to buy a pet from, and when my wife and I settle on the next addition(s) to our growing family, it/they will come from here.

Came in yesterday evening and not a single employee asked us if we needed any help. Was it the way we looked? I have no idea. Was interested in the tarantulas but 1. The prices were absolutely insane. Do they actually make a profit off of selling these? 2. The enclosures needed some cleaning badly in some cases. Get your spiders from a reputable breeder I'd say. This place is a bit dirty. They treat the tarantulas better at petco honestly. I gave 2 stars because at least there was a variety of tarantulas.

Fantastic staff and stock. Service is great, prices are very fair. Bought 7 Tarantulas at various times since they opened. All were healthy specimens still thriving today. If you're in the downtown Bremerton area I strongly recommend stopping by and having a look.

I haven't bought anything here, but the animals all looked healthy. The store is laid out well and clean. They have tarantulas, lizards, perhaps some snakes?, and last I was there, a hedgehog. No birds, but most people don't consider them reptiles, anyway. The staff seem knowledgeable and have had success breeding bearded dragons.

I want to like this place but some of the animals really have no enrichment. The quality of each setup varies pretty wildly, with a good chunk of the animals not having the proper amount of hides or enough hiding space, especially the beardie. Even if they're only there temporarily it just doesn't look great. Reptile breeders/sellers tend to be notoriously sleazy to begin with so it doesn't instill a ton of confidence. If the tanks were cleaner and had more hiding space I'd definitely be more likely to come in more often

Came in to scope this place out and the staff was phenomenal. I brought my 5 year old with me and they took her on a tour and showed her all the animals. They didn't have a lot in yet as they just opened but they were so friendly and knowledgeable! All my questions were answered. I am definitely going to be coming here for feeders in the future. A note to the staff; THANK YOU for being so nice and friendly! I appreciate you!

Small, but growing, and top quality too! The critters were all in great shape and seemed happy and healthy. Just came in for some flies and a keeper for my new S. Scenicus juvenile and the staff was very helpful!

Paradox is a great local establishment! The staff is extremly helpful and knowledgeable. The owner Mike is a stand up guy and passionate about his craft. All of the critters are well cared for and loved! If your in the mall stop by and check them out it will surley brighten your day!

We wandered in as we had never seen this place before. The owner, Mike, was amazing and showed us all of the animals, gave us so much info, and was just all-around incredibly kind and fun to talk to. He knew we weren’t there to buy, but treated us amazingly anyway. We’ve always wanted a chameleon and now we know where we’ll be getting one from when we’re ready. Thank you, Mike! Many of the animals here were kept in subpar conditions, they had a boa in a glass enclosure with a heat lamp and screen lid which if you know snakes is not a great setup for a boa. Had many rescues up for "adoption" with high price tags slapped on, Giant Day gecko was in a tiny enclosure, and there was a water snake that had a very exposed spine and not in good condition. Tegu was very exposed and in a small enclosure with no enrichment to be seen. Most of the staff were friendly enough with the exception of one that seemed to want to have a d*** measuring contest with me to do with his knowledge of reptiles while I was simply trying to look around and have friendly conversation when approached.

Very cool reptile shop, some neat lizards, frogs, and snakes too. Lots of options for accessories and cases too. Definitely a great way to get setup with your favorite creatures or simply check them out with the family.

I went there today and I was unimpressed. The animals on display have too small of a habitat. The bearded dragon has a horrible set up, not only is the dragon in sand(horrible for them) the tank is way too small there are no enrichments just a stick, no water bowl or anything and insufficient lighting. The skink is in a tank with nothing but a hide. The care these animals, is far from ok. If you get a pet here, these tanks are NOT a good example for the animal, do your research but I would say don’t buy at all. For having so many supplies I’m saddened that the animals are last priority. Highly DONT recommend.

paradox reptiles is an amazing place and if your looking for a reptile or something to do come here because they give you a lot of info and basically tell you about all the animals. I had a lot of fun handling ball pythons. awesome place!
