They are seriously the most kind, supportive, knowledgeable people I know when it comes to choosing the right supplements, food, or really anything for your pet. What a cute pet shop and name! My daughter and I happened upon it on our way to Fountain Park. Our dog loves squeakers but she tears apart toys to get to them so these little leather squeakers are perfect because she can't chew through them! Our cat loves his feathered kicker toy and his older sister plays with it a little too! We also bought a cute dog cookie and some treats. We will definitely be back!

Gastro Pup is a very special pet store. Not only does the incredible team of humans who work there know A LOT about the brands and pet food they carry, they create a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes them your go-to spot for your furry family member. Our cat was picky and even though Gastro Pup didn't carry the brand we usually bought, they ordered it by the case for us. They're very accommodating and will welcome you to sample and try-out foods. We recently and unexpectedly lost our beloved Bodhi on Christmas. I had to do the unthinkable and return canned food. They were not only extremely gracious in refunding the amount of the cans, they were like family sharing their empathy for our loss. This level of kindness and service doesn't exist everywhere. It most certainly continues to live in these beautiful humans who are dedicated to your sweet pets. A lot of their expertise comes from deep experience with Naturally 4 Paws and their own passion for the subject of natural care of your buddies. Even if the price might be slightly higher than a corporate pet store that can purchase product in bulk, your investment triples as Gastro Pup's dedication to the community has been proven time and time again. We just moved to Bremerton from Marysville and I found this little shop when looking for pet stores in the area to hopefully grab some treats for my three cats.It's a really cute shop, first of all, with TONS of great treats for dogs and cats. They have all sorts of freeze dried and dehydrated options from pheasant heads to lamb (my cats LOVE) and beef lung, mussels, rabbit ears, kangaroo tails, and more at their treat bar. I love that it's setup so you can choose as much as you'd like rather than having to buy a prepackaged bag.There are awesome brands in stock too, among my favorites are Northwest Naturals, Feline Naturals, Small Batch, Churu, etc.Among the canned food I actually found Mouser that I was hoping to try too! They carry Dave's, Lotus, Rawz, and more. There's separated frozen sections for dogs AND cats with an excellent, wide selection.They carry pet beds and toys of course, fountains, scratchers, and a variety of catnip (including buds which I love because I hate the near powdered form which splinters off in my fingers).The women that work there are super helpful, assisting me with finding the exact treats I was looking for, telling me where and how everything was sourced too. At checkout I was able to get a few frozen samples.The shop is wide enough to fit a stroller through too if you are wondering. I stroller my little tot around just fine, a little narrow but there's enough space! My favorite part is that they have 2 resident tuxedo kitties that are just adorable! 🤩 I have two tuxedos myself.I'm really happy I found this shop, thankful to the ladies for their help, and since it's super close to where I live, this will for sure be where I go for all my cats' food and enrichment.Thank you!!

It doesn't matter what you're looking for, you can find it at Gastro Pup! Quality foods, toys, treats and goodies! The staff is FANTASTIC! They are knowledgeable and friendly. Everytime I go in there they are willing to help. They know their products and have great suggestions. They even have sample snacks for the furry friends that visit. It's always a wonderful experience.The pictures are of all the treats my foster, Heidi got for her birthday! She's hard to impress, but she was very pleased with the selection and the haul she got to bring home!

Otis is so happy to have such an amazing shop so close to home! The treat selection is wide and diverse. Otis is quite fond of the smoked marrow bones and duck head. Don't forget to check the toy selection before you leave. Great toys for chewers. Already looking forward to our next visit!

Really great pet store! They have a good selection for cats in terms of wet and dry food as well as toys. I also love how helpful and friendly the employees are and the free samples! It’s a great way to see if my cat will like certain treats or not before buying. Definitely stop by if you’re in town

The owner of the store is very hands on. She is knowledgeable and helps you find anything you might need,or a better alternative. We were very excited to see a new pet supply store open near where we live. Its also nice that she sources from smaller American made "mom and pop" companies that make their toys and treats from safe and quality materials and ingredients. Great store!

I love this store! Lots of locally made stuff! My pupper is a chewer and they have all kinds of healthy chews - bully sticks, collagen sticks and etc. Owner is very knowledgeable w answers for your questions.
