What a wonderful rustic place! It was so eclectic and cute, we just loved it. The outdoor seating varies, some more protected with heaters, some right in front of the slough. The view of the slough with farmland is just beautiful and there were green-winged teal ducks all over, so fun to watch. We had the meat and cheese plate with a wonderful local wine. And the staff was so so nice and friendly and very knowledgeable. We had a wonderful afternoon hanging out here.

Every month we make the trip from Seattle to Edison, and Slough Food is always a highlight. They’ve thought of everything to make outdoor dining comfortable, no matter the weather. Our group of 4 all like different wines, and John came up with a bottle we all love. Make sure to go to the back next to the slough to watch herons, ducks, and eagles. Get the staff to recommend a bottle to take home - we’ve always been thrilled with the selections.

This is a great place to stop for curated gourmet snacks and wine, if you’re in the Bow or Edison area! The people that work here are super friendly and knowledgeable. (I got some truffle butter there that’s amazing, as well as a stellar bottle of wine.) They also have food service - there’s the option for charcuterie plates, sandwiches and wine in the back, with outdoor dining that overlooks the slough and nearby farms… We’ll have to try that next time we are in the area.

If you are willing to take a detour off the beaten path (aka the I-5), Slough Food is a lovely place for lunch. We split the grilled cheese and panini. Both were delicious. Friendly and good service

This place is great. Menu is compact and well thought-out. Selection of wine and cheeses exceeds expectations. Caprese salad was as good as it gets. Well done!

Oh my gosh, what a hidden gem! Initially stopped here for some spirits while camping. They have a lovely selection of unique spirits to choose from. The best part was meeting Sarah! So friendly, knowledgeable, and delightful! So much so that we came back the next day for lunch and ate outside with view of the slough. This place & Sarah are true gems that I highly recommend visiting!

Came with a friend for lunch on our way home from hiking up Chuckanut. We ordered salads, bread, and soup and sat on the back patio at one of the tables facing the slough/creek. It was perfection. Fresh, delicious, local, and exactly what we wanted.

Whoa, what a gem! I’d been to Bow/Edison a dozen times but somehow never when Slough Food is open. And finally today stopped by. Highly recommend. Great food, amazing patio, fantastic service, wonderful people, great selection of food and wine to take home afterwards. Feels like someone is hosting you at their own home. Definitely a repeat customer now. Can’t wait to come back.

Great spot! The food is exceptional, as is the service and atmosphere. I love their garden dining in the back, but the front area has a rustic minimalist vibe that I also really like. I've been here twice, both times the food has been exceptional.

Great spot for a bite, drink, or takeaway. Friendly people, too. We loved the curried lentil soup and the eclectic collection of drinks and snacks.

Delicious food and so welcoming! We sat on the heated patio and enjoyed the wintery scenery. Loved chatting with our host, Sarah, and, afterwards, walked around and saw the art of Edison!

Amazing cheese selection that you can sample first! Wine selection is unique and priced very reasonably. Also in the storefront is packaged Pasta, various Olive oils, good showing of gourmet chocolate bars, sparkling waters. The garden restaurant overlooking the slough is a fabulous place for a sandwich (local bread) and a bottle of pinot. The service in the front store, and in the restaurant, has always been great.

Was really looking forward to visiting this place, yet it's just another business that sells mostly non-local wine, cheese, and similar paraphernalia, even after asking for that and/or organic products. Seems they have a quant covered patio and menu out back that seemed ok...Parking: Parking is minimal in this tiny town,

Came by for the paella party brought in by Paellaworks. Picnic seating on the back patio is right off the slough, with lovely views of the water, the wintering ducks and other wild birds. Tap wine and beer were both excellent, and I love the fact that they don't fill their cannoli until you order them, so the shell is still beautifully crisp. We made a lovely meal in a lovely spot and will definitely back for paella again.

This is a darling little place on the slough, great drinks and light food fare, the downside candidly is the owner. He is intense and each time I've visited he has been gruff and acted like I was imposing by ordering. He literally grabbed indoor menus out of my hands as I was headed outside to the deck, saying there were outdoor menus outside. As I was coming in the door, he charged past me with someones food, without saying excuse me or thank you for holding the door. One would expect more of an owner. He contributes to the hesitation I feel with wanting to go back again to this place that has so much potential.

Every detail is on display at this unique establishment. Custom timber frame pergola, live edge cedar slab bench top, reclaimed Sequoia (redwood) Pier from San Francisco turned into a huge custom table and matching benches. Oh yeah, and the food was stellar! Fresh Raw oysters, grilled oysters on the half shell with a variety of flavor toppings. Small plates of cheese and meats were generous, grilled paninis, and the soup specials were on point! Sat in the sun on there back patio overlooking the slough and had a great sunny afternoon with friends. All kinds of to go items available for foodies of all types when it's time to head home.

Sweet spot. Great owner and staff. Solid food and alcohol selection. Will come back for years. If you are going to Larrabee this place is a must.
