We loved this cute little spot! It’s not far from the highway and is definitely worth the drive. We did a self guided tour and were able to see all the cows and someone actually making the cheese! But as it turns out they make so much more than just cheese. They had Greek yogurt, cream cheese, smoked salmon, cheesecake, wines, ciders, meat cuts, jams, cute T-shirts with dairy farm puns, and the sweetest staff that gave us free cheese curd samples! We absolutely loved this place and will definitely be stopping by for more goodies the next time we’re passing through. 💙

Our local friends took us here during our driving tour of the Skagit Valley. They make their own cheese here, they also have meat and crackers and drinks. The homemade cheese was really good, we scarfed down a block of feta in the car between the four of us and the cheddar I brought home was great! They have their own kind of cheese that resembles Mexican queso (not the liquid tex Mex dish but the crumbly white cheese).

Great little cheese shop located right on the farm where the cows themselves live! Excellent variety of quality homemade cheeses, yogurts, dairy and more! There are lots of other local, artisanal products and delicacies like the homemade pasta, jams and preserves. Definitely worth a stop to pick up a few things and taste a few too!We bought cheese, pasta, and some honey. Would have love to try some of the wine - maybe next time!

The ladies working the counter were very knowledgeable and helpful in deciding what cheeses to try and purchase. We got a lot (yeah... we love cheese), but if you get anything, get some of their own branded cheese: Ladysmith. The fresh Ladysmith tastes mild and sweet, but just a tad more firm than a fresh mozzarella. The Aged Ladysmith had a slight rind and had a more intense flavor and consistency, like that of a brie! They were wid to try back to back, so of course, we bought some of both. I enjoy the fresh Ladysmith with a little sea salt and fresh herbs on a baguette or rustic bread, but the Aged Ladysmith is killer as, believe it or not, a grilled cheese (local crusty bread, a little cracked black pepper, and some thinly sliced ham, prosciutto, or turkey makes that cheese absolutely sing. And the Salmon Cheese Ball... just... chef's kiss. It's a wonderful breakfast cheese spread, for us.The Goudas are your save bets if fresh cheeses are too much for a novice to utilize (they go bad quickly, in general, so you have to use them in short order). The Herb Gouda is wonderful, and everything you expect from a local made Gouda (garlicky, chive-like, flavor paired with Gouda cheese), but if you like spicy cheese but hate the flavor profile of a pepperjack, get the Chili Chive Onion Gouda. My hubby hates pepperjack because the pepper flavor is too overwhelming overall. Samish Bay's Chili Chive Onion Gouda was spicy, without the dominant 'green bell pepper or jalapeño' tastes more commonly known in pepperjack. Even I was surprised, as I also don't typically eat spicy cheese. It was actually pleasant to the palette.Samish Bay also ships their cheeses if you absolutely need to have a taste but can't make it back to their shop. But I definitely suggest going in!

A nice diversion while traveling up to Canada. The service is so inviting and kind, and they are more than happy to answer any questions you may have. The variety alone will leave you in wonder. There were a number of wheels, cheese balls, wines, beers, meats, and souvenirs . Best of all, you can sample anything! There are a few parking spots and options. The lot leading to the store is pebbled, so it is a bit difficult for a wheelchair to enter the store (level with the ground). Restroom fully accessible, though!

Hidden treasure. This place is worth the stop. Great selection of cheese and very knowledgeable staff. Cheese curds only on the weekends, however we found everything we purchased.... delicious

This is also one of the skagit valley food trail must-visit shop. This shop is just by the cow farm, and they make high quality cheeses. The store provide samples for every cheese, you can feel free to ask any clerk to get the samples you would like to try. They are not only sale cheeses, they also have some quality sausages and meats and ice cream. You can purchase either 1/8 lb, 1/4 lbs, or whatever how much lbs you like, they can cut the lbs of cheese for you. They are so friendly to the customers. I like it here because you can have lots of samples for cheeses and chose whatever how much you want to purchase.

I love small batch cheese makers. This is a super cute store where you can get meats, cheeses, jams, and wine. With multiple cheeses on sample. There's a farmers market on Thursdays as well. Tyromancers unite!

The cheese was beyond excellent. I would recommend this to anyone visiting the area. My boyfriend and I were visiting from Charlotte, NC and were beyond impressed.Don was very kind and seemed genuinely happy to be interacting with people/sharing his craft. Healthy cow organic milk, yogurt and cheeses. The yogurt here is loaded with probiotics and when you open the jar, the cream is right at the top. Just a block off the highway.

Cute little country store with a selection of very local cheeses made right there on the farm, together with honey and meats. It's worth a stop over when you're in the area. The farm was for sale when I was there (August 2022) so here's to hoping the new owners keep up the good work, and best wishes to the current owners on their retirement.

after passing by this place for many years, I finally had the opportunity to stop in this past week. I bought a wedge of Ladysmith with chives, and another of the aged gouda.Big mistake. Now I'm an addict.Now I have to come up with excuses to drive up from Brier every week. God knows how many computers and big screen tvs I'm gonna have to steal to support my habit.

Wonderful experience. Kind owners, gourmet local flavors, a vibe of serenity and comfort. We stopped because of the signs along the road on our road trip, but it seemed to be a source of deliciousness for the locals as well. The local flavors stocked included lots of fun combinations (lavender drinking chocolate; rose petal apricot preserves, pickled blueberries). A foodie’s dream.

Super cool place with such positive energy. I loved everything about this little slice of Cheese Heaven. Besides cheese they offer meats , ciders , crackers,and other items related to yummy cheese snacks . And the best part is you can sample the cheese before you purchase. That’s very important to me, as I’ve made costly mistakes in choosing cheese before.
