This place is so great, we were really happy with the grooming job they did on our pup! We came in as new clients recently and were very pleased with the whole experience. Booking online was easy, and they’re only booked out about a month right now. We put down a small deposit to hold our appointment time, which then went towards the cost of the whole appointment. Pricing was very fair, and they had plenty of add-on options to cater to the specific needs of each dog. I gave them a couple photos of my dog when he was groomed to our liking in the past and they did a FANTASTIC job of making him the cutest fluffy boy ever! The staff was very friendly and handled the dogs with care. When I picked up my dog he was calm and relaxed when usually he’s so stressed out at the groomers. I can’t think of one bad thing to say about this place, we will definitely be going back and making this our regular groomer from now on!

This was my first and last time taking my cat to Furtician. I thought about giving it a try since it had some good reviews, but the service received was ridiculously bad, to say the least. My cat was there for a total of 5-6 hours for a Teddy Bear Cut and spread across two visits because they couldn't "finish" him in time. The "finished" product? 60% uneven and patchy haircut with a few of mats left and $160 later. I attached a couple of pictures. I thought this has to be a joke, right? I talked to the supposed manager, Bri, to get a refund because this is simply not what I signed up for. She told me that they completed the services but that my 1-year-old skinny timid cat with no nails was too aggressive for them to do a good job. If the business is not capable of finishing up a job they SPECIALIZE in, they should at least give you a refund and say they're sorry for wasting your time driving to two appointments. On their website, they claim to have "amazing service and communication with you, along with the best grooming experience possible". They are for sure not in the customer service business as the manager did not care about customer satisfaction, and definitely not in the cat grooming business since they cannot complete a simple job. IF YOU DON'T WANT EMBARRASSING-LOOKING FUR BABIES, DON'T TAKE THEM HERE!

We got exactly what we asked for and Bean is rocking the softest summer haircut in town. She must have had a great time because when we got home, she kept begging to get back in the car and go back! The little bow or ornament they leave on your pet's collar is also super cute. We'll certainly be returning to Furtician for all of Bean's grooming needs.

Every time my pup comes back after a full groom of 180$, there is a nick somewhere and we have to take him to the vet and he gets a cone to prevent him for licking! Very unprofessionalWe have been a regular customer for 2 years and we never arrive late however once when we entered the place 2 minutes late because we were just outside walking - they charged late arrival fees

First time we came here was just okay, unfortunately the second time was worse!!! I dunno what happened but somebody at this business should've noticed that the grooming was uneven and somehow our little guys eye got poked with something. I figured I would try this place again because of the 5 star reviews but unfortunately it's likely the last. 6 years of grooming our pup and we've never seen such an awful job. Someone experienced should be checking the dogs in case there's possibly a new hire in training. I don't usually post negative reviews and let the first time pass but this is now 2x going here where the job is not done properly. I'm sure they do a good job with other types of dogs but I don't think this turned out the way that was intended.

I am writing this review with an update to my experience, after having my Pomeranian groomed here a little over a year ago they shaved my Pomeranians outer coat and it will likely not regrow. This business made no attempts to remedy the situation with me nor any compensation. I would highly advise if you have a delicate animal you take it elsewhere.

I guess its high time i leave a review for this place after being a regular here for almost 1/2 years now. This is the second time a blunder has happened. First time i let it go but this time, it was time to let everyone know. The people here mostly just care about making money. Not about your loved pets. I left my lovely pet here this morning with special instructions to save eyelashes and they didn’t bother. They just chopped them off. Also, didn’t bother to lmk about it. I only discovered on my drive back home and when I reached out to them, all they could say is that my pet was squirmy and they can give me a discount next time. Seriously!!!!Also her ears were still damp and matted and I literally ended up needing to brush her ears and tail right after i spend 200$ on a full groom.

Botched my dogs hair cut and blamed it on my dog’s skin condition. She has cancer and she goes in and out of having yeasty skin due to her immune system. I have received better cuts for her even when her skin was at her worst from the same salon, but today they used it as an opportunity to send her home looking worse than she did walking in. Her hair is different lengths and choppy and her skin is oily as if she was never bathed. If she was having issues with the clippers they could have called me or approached the situation with empathy. Again, my dog’s health is declining due to cancer. I didn’t feel heard and my concerns weren’t acknowledged by the staff. Instead the girl wanted to argue with me after repeatedly telling her I wanted to just pay and leave. If they would have just approached the whole situation with empathy and explained that they weren’t able to cut her as well because of her skin I wouldn’t be leaving a review, but the lack of compassion is why I’m leaving a review. The moment I told her that my dogs hair was longer than I’d ever picked her up with she could have explained, but instead she insisted that I’ve always picked her up that way. It wasn’t until after arguing me she started sharing why she wasn’t given her usual haircut. After almost two years and always tipping well I’ll never return here.

Very accommodating on appt scheduling with date/time options.Pricing was extremely reasonable for a full puppy head to tail groom.I was a bit nervous how our new puppy would handle on his first ever grooming. Besides him looking like a pretty dapper pup pup. He was extremely relaxed and not anxious when we arrived for pick up.IMHO - that’s an awesome sign that groomers know how to calm and soothe the pups pups through their grooming

DO NOT TAKE YOUR DOG HERE!!! I am a groomer but broke my arm and needed to take my Shih Tzu in for grooming and a summer cut. Not only did they give him an ugly cut but it's so short it's actually risky to his health. They did not give him the cut I asked for! Along with that, he has blade burns and they cut his face so short they took his whiskers and lashes. This is UNACCEPTABLE! Anyone can look at this and know that it is not a Shih Tzu cut. They even tried over charging me when I came to pick up. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! *UPDATE* my dog had a traumatic experience during the long 5 hours of him being at this place. He is acting COMPLETELY different and he's scared of everything and flinching as if he was treated very poorly. Do not put your fur babies through this terrible horrific experience here.

I live next door and took my dog there today for the first time. I was really happy with the haircut. 6 hours later, he scratches and shakes his head a few times and a big dirty cotton ball jumps out. He is a Wheaten, so the ears flip down and I couldn’t see it in before, so it had to be fairly deep.I called them and they apologized, saying they forgot to take the cotton ball out and that “it can happen sometimes”.I’ve gone to groomers for the past 8 years and never encountered that. I briefly managed a large grooming salon in West Los Angeles and we never “forgot” things like a cotton ball in a pet’s ear. What else can they “forget sometimes”?Looking at the negative reviews here and Gary’s (pointless) answers to them, they likely won’t care and won’t change. That was my first and last time at their salon.

I used to bring my dog here all the time, but, similar to the post below, they have begun to nickel and dime like crazy. I ended up spending $175 on my 15lb dog's haircut! They claimed that she was matted and needed a special $45 deep conditioning shampoo and conditioner, even though we came in just 5 weeks ago. Halfway through the appointment, I received a text saying they needed an additional $20, or they would have to shave her. This was on top of the $45 I had already spent. They also now charge a card processing fee, so that was another $7 on top of the already overpriced haircut. I will be cancelling my next appointment.

The best grooming service ever!! I have a Corgi puppy and tried a lot of groomers here in the area! Although Some were over priced and hard to get appointment, i didn't really see a special service! I could give Mochi better bathes and care.. Furtician really worth every penny, I will never change again Mochi's groomer. Their prices a reasonable and you will feel the differenceLoved his smell, his paws and nails and the most important thing that he comes back tired 😄😄🐶🐶🐶

We've been coming here for 2.5 years. I used to love the service and hair cuts here. Especially by Bree! Lately, however, their increasing policy updates are becoming irksome and I left feeling nickel-and-dimed. We brought in our 21lb dog for his usual full grooming and were told that his fur was "dirtier than usual" despite his fur looking and feeling the same as it always is. We get him groomed once every 6 weeks so he is a very well maintained, clean dog. They told me they would charge an extra $20 for a "special shampoo" that would help with the additional "dirtiness" and that this shampoo was required in order for them to give him an even cut. ***Eye roll - sorry but shampooing so that he's clean is part of the bath and grooming service. I told them to skip the special shampoo ($20 upcharge is unreal for a shampoo switch that I didn't request). When I picked him up, he looked fairly evenly groomed except for very obvious, comedic patches of fur that were intentionally left long - in an exaggerated way - to show the "uneven" hair cut he received due to not spending the extra $20. Ridiculous client service and pettiness from a groomer I once loved. I felt very manipulated and don't intend to return.

I am in love with this place. They groomed my malamute so well. He came back clean and fluffy. I am so happy with the way he looks right now because we just came back from camping where he literally rolled in mud and swam in the lake. My dog is dog reactive and the groomers made sure no other dogs were around when we Chewy went in and came out. They were so considerate and thoughtful. They know their breeds well and will not do anything to your dog unless you specifically asked them to do so. I will definitely go back here again for Chewy's grooming in the future.

It was a terrible experience with this branch. I was late to my appointment and the store manager called me and I said I’m on my way, they said ok. After all check-in processes they wanted to charge $20 additional late check-in fee. Then I didn’t check-in and they charged $32.5 cancellation fee. Checkin time was 2:20 but they said your pet will be ready 6:50. 10 mins late check-in for 4 hrs operation time. Not easy to understand the correlation

Bri did a great job with my 4 month old Standard Poodle puppy for his first haircut. Even when he made a mess on himself, he got a second bath and blow dry at no extra cost, and it was handled as a no big deal event. While I waited, I watched as other canine customers were greeted very lovingly. I would definitely recommend Furtician and will be taking my dog back for regular grooming!

Although they do a good job, I will no longer be bringing my dog here given their new policies. It truly is absurd to charge $20 if you’re 10 minutes late dropping off/ picking up, $40 if you have to cancel and an additional $45 if they have to brush mats off the dog??? Isn’t that part of the job of being a groomer? They’re also super inflexible with their locked door policy and my dog is often late for pickup and I have to sit around in my car waiting. It’s just become a huge inconvenience.

We have been coming for about a year. Everyone is so friendly. We have a long-haired doodle and they give him the perfect cut. Our dog is also SUPER anxious and has always struggled with groomers but he loves coming here and always leaves happy.

their hours and dependability of service appointments can be iffy (i.e. having confidence that an appointment at a certain time won't end up being 30 minutes late) which knocks a star.despite that, I have traveled here from Everett and Seattle to have them groom my dog. she comes out a different color sometimes! lol. they're fantastic groomers.

It’s covid times and our boy Bishop needed some head to tail love. Our ‘go to’ groomers were booked out 2-4 months. I came across Furtician in my search to find someone sooner and now we will be dedicated. We are grateful this new business opened and at a convenient location. Bri understood everything I wanted for his cut/trim and her passion and attention to detail shows. Bishop was happy at pickup and I appreciate he wasn’t kept in a kennel while waiting for me.

Cat grooming is good and staff is friendly, but scheduling is difficult. The website is "dog centric" but has gotten better recently. Have to book cat grooming a month in advance. Pick up and drop off windows are very tight. I understand why, but that doesn't change the fact that they are.

I've never had such a great experience with a groomer! My two shih tzus are a little anxious about having their faces trimmed, but somehow they managed it! I'm so pleased and I will definitely be back!

Absolutely love, Furtician! Not only do they provide incredible grooming services, but I feel like everyone genuinely cares about your pet and their well-being. Once they even discovered an ear infection that I wasn't aware of. It's easy to schedule an appointment and can even manage to schedule appointments on short notice, which is convenient. 10/10 would recommend.

I don’t tend to leave reviews, negative or positive but I believe this place is exceptional so for that I thought it warranted a review. I was only passing through for work and my 6 year old husky needed a bath and her nails trimmed so I googled the nearest place that was open on a Sunday which was only one groomers in the area, Furtician. I was able to squeeze her in to what was a incredibly busy business. When I walked in I saw a poodle whose poor tail was in the midst of being dyed blues and pinks and I thought to myself, “sh*t, what have I walked into?” I left my pup, who I am sure was rather difficult of a client and about 2 hours was called to retrieve her. When I picked her up, I was stunned. She was the cleanest and most tidy husky I had ever seen. Even the whisky hairs on her back haunches were trimmed. Her long hair was trimmed but not shaved, so much so that her coat looked poofy and tight. It’s the most amazing grooming of a husky I have ever seen. This place is magnificent! I have lived in Los Angeles and numerous other cities with my 6 year old husky and have never found such a gem of a groomers that could trim her up cleanly but still look natural and not overdone. Kudos to this spot and their professionalism.
