I ordered a couple things from the website for pickup and was told the order would be ready at 6pm. Arrived at the store at 6:05 and was told they had no record of the order. Showed them the order on my phone, and using the order number, they concluded it hadn't been filled yet.So they set about filling the order. After I'd already been at the store for 30 minutes, I was told that they didn't have any of my items and offered alternatives that were not remotely acceptable. I asked them to refund my purchase, which they said would take up to a week.After wasting a half hour I'll never get back, I went to Walmart and got exactly what I needed myself. I'd like to think that the store (and the online inventory tracking) are generally better, but who knows. Either way, I felt an honest review was appropriate.

Their deli closes at 9pm but they always stop cooking chicken around 5pm and run out by 6pm. I'm just not coming back to this place. They are too lazy to take care of their customers.

If you order pickup, prepare to be disappointed EVERY TIME. They are constantly "out" of staples like eggs or milk and won't bother substituting half the time. Or they just "cant find" the item...but they are the ones who work there and couldn't be bothered to ask for help. Don't worry, the stock is there...so you just have to go in store and pick up half your items yourself....which defeats the point, doesn't it? This has happened the last 4 times I've gone. Come on. Do better.

Nice store, for sure. But, if I can't get the cart of groceries to my car because the carts " lock up" halfway there, then I can't buy much! Therefore, most groceries are bought at Walmart, where I can take a cart to my car.

Updating April 2022, the deli is really good now. Love their chicken. They have pretty good deals pretty good price for 8 piece on the go.Updating November 2020, nice recipe and added a few twists of my own but truly incredible turkey cranberry cream cheese panini.I grilled the pears, threw down some bacon everybody loves bacon. And used half the avocado shell for mozzarella balls with balsamic drizzleI like this place a lot. People are friendly, great service all around. Its all here when it comes to what I need. Butchers have great input on the meats you want to grill up; recently tried a pepper blend on some short ribs and a New York, awesome outcome. really love the bakery and Deli selections and produce is always a great selection and price

Went thru the self check out as there was only 2 cashiers. In the self check, it was lining up with folks. No scu number for my items so I asked the gal that clears problems but she was running all over trying to help others like myself.I should have stood in line to 1 of the 2 checkers working. At least their lanes were clearing and moving!

Zach/Zack is amazing. He works the self-checkout & customer service. We recently decided to finally get rid of all of our quarters & and dimes, but the Coinstar stopped working. This wasn't a big deal, but Zach went ABOVE AND BEYOND to make sure we were able to complete our transaction. He took the initiative and tried working through the error on the machine. He cleaned out the dirt trap & got everything back to 100%. This guy deserves a raise. He apologized for the inconvenience even though it wasn't his fault. He saw a problem and tackled it w/o any prior knowledge of the system. Keep this guy Safeway.

I was here doordashing and needed help finding some items, let me tell you customer service here was flawless I mean they went so far out of their way to help me find an item that for whatever reason was really hard to find and didn't act like they didn't want to or all snobby like most of the other Safeways employees that I have came across.

I generally find this store to be great and the staff lovely. The one star is for the pharmacy. I have attempted to get the advertised walk-in flu shot there 3 separate times. Each time the lady blows me off. The first time I was told I needed an appointment for the combo shot. I clarified I did not want a COVID booster, I just wanted to do a walk-in for a flu shot only. I was told they were too busy. The second time I came in same thing, but I was told the tech was not available. The third time I came in first thing on a Sunday morning so they would not be busy. Nobody was in line and there were three people working in the pharmacy. I was again told I needed an appointment. I again clarified I did not want the combo shot. I just wanted a flu shot. To which the woman replied "we don't do walk-ins until after eleven because we have too much to do" She told me I could wait for 45 minutes if I wanted one. I finally gave up and just went across the street to Rite Aid. No problems there.:(

I have always had anxiety about grocery shopping, but my recent trip to this Safeway location completely changed that. The staff was incredibly friendly and made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. As someone who doesn't cook often and doesn't always know what to get, I appreciated their helpful suggestions and guidance. Even when I felt embarrassed about picking out some junk food, the staff didn't judge me.The store itself was well-organized and easy to navigate, which made my shopping experience much less stressful. And with the help of the friendly staff, I was able to find everything I needed and more. Overall, I highly recommend this Safeway location to anyone looking for a stress-free grocery shopping experience with a welcoming and supportive staff. Thank you for making me feel at home!

I loved it! I brought in a picture of the cake we wanted, and they made it so identical. People were really surprised that it came from Safeway and not a specialty bakery. They added extra sparkles on the cake which made it even more magical looking!

Staff is nice and helpful, location is good. Watch the app, it regularly doesn't give me the sale or digital coupon price, and I have to watch prices carefully (often price adjusts at end so hard to keep track) and prove the price. Once proven staff have been great about honoring but I should have to work so hard to get the posted price, I feel like Safeway is trying fraud people.

Produce looked nicer than F.M. and customer service was great! Was looking for leeks before our Thanksgiving feast. Produce person was so helpful, she checked in back for me. They were out but informed me that the next morning they would get fresh delivery. I know grocery shopping not the most exciting, but 2 days before Thanksgiving they sure provided friendly, prompt service and saved my dressing recipe!

I come here a lot and never had a bad experience so far. Nice and clean. Employees are actually talkative and inviting. Having a Starbucks inside is also a plus.

The Women's Restroom was disgustingly filthy. A filthy feces covered plunger left sitting in the Disabled stall. Floor's were filthy, frankly speaking, I was afraid to touch anything in there as I am ill and have no immunities. Was expecting a good disinfected and sanitized Women's Restroom, as I have been a Customer of Your store since your Manager was a teen. Over 30 years. Best Safeway in Western Washington!! Highly recommend!! I'm pretty sure they have armed Private Security that work behind the scenes and you rarely see them but thanks to them and the night crew/stockers, you don't get that many tweakers and homeless thieves in or around the store like a lot of places in town. Unfortunately Fred Meyer can't say the same, probably because they have merchandise other than food. But regarding what really matters which is they rarely don't have what I need, it's always clean and organized, the store and aisles are big, and most of the employees tolerate my obnoxious @$$ and are still nice to me. Lol My only fuss with this Safeway and all the others is where they put their clearance or discount items, which is right in front of the doors to the warehouse in the back. Please put it somewhere else, like where people can easily see it and where you're not in the way of the employees doing their job. After all, you do want to get rid of the stuff don't you?

They are a little more expensive than Fred Mayer, or Wally World, but they are open later, and have what I can't find at the last two. Parking is a little tighter, but they also have been in this area the longest, by far, which kind of proves they are doing something right! That is my opinion and I am sticking to it, and also of note is that I've been referred from those other two stores by their employees to go to Safeway when I could not find what I was looking for with them. Safeway is a safe bet for your shopping needs and desires.

I usually enjoy coming to my neighborhood, Bonney Lake Safeway, but today was an unpleasant experience. Mainly in the meat department when what I thought what was a friendly employee came out from the back of the counter and ask how he can help me. I smiled and said yes sir do you have any pork belly? His response was that first kind and partially helpful saying “ not any fresh. The closest thing I would have is bacon.” I then asked a final question to be sure I understood. Do you happen to have any in the back? He then became visibly irritated turning to me his response was “No sir I do not have any pork belly in the back.” Putting off a vibe of what kind of question is that. I was left feeling disrespected and confused as to why the employee was irritated with the question. So much so I left my cart and the store and decided I would spend my money elsewhere today as I have more to purchase than just some pork belly for my bbq.

I specifically visit this Safeway the most for ordering online and picking up my groceries.I’m a single mom , 2 kids and commute apr. I have no energy to shop at times.It’s such a blessing to have this option. Everyone has been extremely friendly.

Some of the employees are very rude some are very nice. The lady in the deli with the long blonde hair and the glitter all over her eyes is ew. She's not polite at all, she will look at you and pretend she didn't see you. Amongst other things.

My grocery orders are being delivered on time and complete, except for out of stock items. The delivery employee(s) are very, very thoughtful to ring my doorbell if there are frozen items but my order are always left at my front door.

The young employees at this store are amazing. They go out of their way to help me find things, carry things, load up for the check out, pack my groceries and put them in my car! And, they do it with smiles, jokes and pleasant chit chat!I drive all the way from Pacific, WA just to do my grocery shoppung at this store because of the employees. They are great!

UPDATE: After a few days shy of a month, still no refund. I have not received a call, can't get a response or even an email back from this company. Unless you want to pay for groceries you'll never receive, horrible service and not get refunded. GO ELSEWHERE!!They at one time were awesome, not anymore. If it didn't happen to me, I might not of believed it. SAFEWAY DO BETTER!I highly suggest you do NOT order delivery from here. Once upon a time they had wonderful employees and reliable service. That is no longer the case. I ordered groceries to be sent out next day. Safeway now has a 3rd party doing their deliveries. These people do not care if you get your order. The driver dropped the groceries off at a closed business, not anywhere near my home, not even on my road. I only know this because, the next morning the business kindly called and let me know my groceries were melted all over. I called Safeway to get the groceries re-delivered. They never showed up. I tried one more time and you guessed it, they never showed up. After 3 attempts to get these delivered, I have now requested a refund. Save yourself the frustration and do pick up or anything else!!
