I couldn't access some of the items I needed to shop for, because there were pallets of boxes in front of the shelves. Also, some items I wanted appeared to be out of stock. The reptile area in this site is set up weird, and it's hard to find what I need. The two employees I interacted with were friendly and helpful. The store was mostly sufficient for what I needed (crickets & frozen mice), but I ended up purchasing about 2/3 of what I needed elsewhere (reptile heat, lighting & decor), due to the shelf access, stock issues, and high prices.

I am discouraging ANYONE from paying for training classes provided by PETCO. I was a loyal returning customer in years previous. I've taken 3 puppies through the training with Petco and I was happy with the service provided. But This time I am the furthest from satisfied you could be. First off I had to try over and over to pay for the group online. Their payment processing wouldn't work for 4 days straight (maybe a sign from God I shouldnt have kept trying because man I regret the effort and time and money I spent to get these training classes. The First group the trainer talked about herself and did basically no training and then sent me home with a sheet of paper telling me what I needed to teach my dog over the next week as " homework" with little explaining. If I wanted to have to figure out how to train my dog all on my own I'd of saved my money and watched YouTube videos which is ultimately what I've resorted to doing and they have been WAY MORE INFORMATIVE AND FREE! I contacted customer service and requested a partial refund since I had gone to some "training" but after numerous attempts to get help resolving I again contacted requesting a full refund and expressing my absolute disappointment with the company's response and services. To which I have still after 3 weeks received ABSOLUTELY NO RESPONSE WHATSOEVER. What's worse is I bought multiple training classes at the same time so not only have I lost money but I've lost a large amount of money for a ton of training my puppy isn't going to receive. I can't speak for every Petco location but I warn against putting your hard earned money into specifically the BONNEY LAKE WASHINGTON location with trainer KIM. Nothing against her personally but she's not doing what Petco promised in her "training services '

Always well stocked, and they carry hard to find products. The employees are friendly and helpful. Its always clean, and the animals look like they are well taken care of. Sometimes, they have free samples at checkout, which I like because my dog is very picky. I have bought her numerous treats, and she only likes certain chicken flavors. So I always get the samples. That way, I am not wasting my money thinking she would like them. I really appreciate that the store does that.

Eric was Amazing! Not only was he super friendly, but he was so helpful and patient with me. I must had looked lost because he asked if I needed help although he was busy with feeding the mice. He quickly started answering all my questions and even took the time to walk me over to where I needed and began explaining ingredients and other important facts to help me to choose the catfood I needed. He then gave me his opinion upon me asking for help to choose what would be best in my case. He also took me to the other side of the store and helped me with products for my other animal (which I was not there for) and then walked me back over to the cat side and helped me to search for other additives for nutrition that might cat needed. He made me feel safe to ask even the silliest questions, telling me that all my questions were valid, which I appreciated. I defiantly will return to this location based on my experience and time with Eric. Thank you ERIC!

This Petco is not the greatest in my opinion. No cats (adoption center), most of the fish tanks are under observation. The store is also weirdly laid out, and there were no employees anywhere. (The Dalmatian Molly's were cute AF though)

This store is an absolute disaster every time I come in. The people working there are doing their best but it’s such a mess. Hire people and pay them well so you can keep staff.

I had been to the store previously. You were out of several items I was there to purchase. I was told there was a shipment due by Thursday that would most likely contain the items I was looking for. I returned to the store mid day in Friday. Items were still not on the shelves but there were several pallets of product in the isle. I asked a worker if the items I was there for were on the pallets. She asked me what I was looking for, then proceeded to tell me it was on the shelf and pointed to a very large bag. I explained I wanted the next size down as we have only 1 cat and the food would be stale by the time I could get through a bag that size. She then proceeded to tell me I could buy 2 small bags. I tried to explain that I wanted the medium bag as I had a coupon for 1 item. She then informed me she WOULD NOT cut the pallet to get out product. I asked if she could at least check the inventory list to see if the items( I never even got to tell her the other things I was looking for) were in the pallets. She told me it wouldn't matter, she was NOT CUTTING THE PALLETS. I asked when the pallets would get put away so I could come back for a THIRD time, she told me "maybe by Saturday some time" So pallets that come in late Wednesday or Thursday morning, are not available for people to purchase until Saturday or maybe Sunday??? What kind of sense does this make? I have gotten things from the pallets before, with helpful personnel. This was very rude and more than a little frustrating. Should I have to make 3 trips in a week to make my purchases? Really?

The Bonney Lake Petco is one of the nicer stores. The staff is usually helpful and nice. They seem to always be moving stuff around or working on projects, so we often have to navigate around boxes, inventory, etc.

We brought our pet cat to visit Santa. We purchased a few low cost cat snacks but then checked receipt on the way home and were charged a $20 donation. I called the store and the clerk laughed “whoops”. I am not able to return as we went there on a special occasion and don’t appreciate being the humor of the day. I did not see a screen nor push and buttons indicating a $20 donation. I hope you use my $20 well as it was part of my kids Christmas gift fund.

Very friendly staff all very helpful. I went in looking only for a sweater for my small dog and ended up with a dog bone, chew toy, non stuffed toy and some training treats. They have the store so well organized I love it. And needless to say I have a happy pup

Frodo loves petco! But in all seriousness I had a great conversation with a worker about the food and she led me to try some brands I otherwise wouldn’t have. It’s nice to be able to return the foods he doesn’t like or I buy and realize he’s not quite ready for. Every worker has been really kind to me, and Ive been going quite a lot recently!

Had to come twice and both times they didn’t inform me about the proper paperwork I needed to get my dogs nails trimmed. The lady didn’t even remember to take rabies paperwork until I handed them to her, she looked confused. Then she told me I didn’t have all the paperwork, which the day before all I was told to bring was my dogs rabies paperwork. Seems like their staff arent informed enough, because for two different female workers to tell me two different things doesn’t make sense.

I don't remember the name of this cashier, but it's an awesome person. I try to buy a cat fouuntine because my daughter is kitty, it's so delicate with the water so I try to order online and I was impossible, so I went to the store and this guy's just check the price online and give us the same special deal on the store an awesome guy

The state of the small animal cages at this petco are absolutely disgusting. Crammed with too many animals, no food, feces everywhere, clear signs that the cages have not been cleaned in days. When I addressed it with who I can only assume was the manager, she very defensively said, "he is cleaning them now, that's what he is doing", pointing to one lone employee. All the while her and two other employees literally all have their hands on decorating a single table....

Petco in Bonney Lake is the BEST!! We recently moved to Bonney Lake and when I needed to get some pet supplies went to this Petco. ALL the staff has been very helpful here but especially Eric the Manager who answered my many questions and gave me some Awesome suggestions when getting puppy food for our new puppy. Also Katie in the grooming dept has been very helpful in trimming our older dogs nails. In the past Layla was very difficult but now she loves going in to see Katie. AND Kim the trainer has been exceptional in training our new 4 month old Bailee an Alaskan Klee Kai. I now go to this Petco for all my dog needs and also when I have questions.

I have always praised this store and the staff, even when supplies are short. During my last visit, I was extremely disappointed and left your store distraught by your grooming staff. I did not get her name but you can check the time stamp on my receipt which will tell you what time I was there. I was trying to make a schedule for my 3 dogs to get groomed. The staff informed me that my dogs’ rabies vaccines are expired as of 10/ 2022. I had informed her that was not possible as I had just picked up my dogs from the kennel that day and they do not accept boarding for pets with incomplete vaccines. My dogs just turned a year old last month and per our vet, they are not due any vaccines until October of 2023. The staff said they just need proof, which is perfectly reasonable for me. I informed her I can provide it anytime as our dogs’ records are available online. She wanted me to make the appointments online but I told her that since she and I were already there and I had trouble making the appointments online, that I would like for her to book the appointments. Besides, she needed the proof of valid rabies shots. She then off to tell me that she had to take lunch “in 1 minute”! That was very rude and unprofessional! After she said that, I told her to just go take her lunch. I will not waste my time trying to make arrangement with someone who has no time taking my business. And I will never trust a groomer who is too in a hurry to leave in the middle of a transaction! I would like to hear back from the manager of this store and let me know how you are addressing this matter.

Awful dog trainer, I think her name was Ren. More interested in holding a conversation with your dog than you. Stuck up, was super rude and snarky to my daughter and made her cry.

I’m honestly disappointed in this shop’s employees. I went fully prepared to purchase a new companion and when I asked the red haired employee for help (politely) the first time she said yes and proceeded to ignore me and socialize with a customer who I believe was also an employee for all of 20 minutes (not to mention they were speaking badly on people in their conversation and those employees seem to have terrible attitudes all in all). I was fine with it until my mother went up to the counter irritated and asked someone to come help and the same employee proceeded back to where she was and ignored us once again. (She did not call anyone to help us and no one else was on the floor). We ended up leaving the store and moving on to petsmart in puyallup where they helped us in less than 10 minutes… even though they were packed! The birds here all seem pretty under the weather and a lot of them are showing signs of sickness but I still wanted to bring a couple home and help them, glad I moved on because the puyallup ones were happy and none were puffed up or had tail bobs. If this is how they treat customers no wonder they never have people coming in. Don’t get me wrong they do have a few super sweet employees but I will probably take my business elsewhere when it comes to my pets from now on.

Me and my dog love this store.Being so close to my house. Its a weekly vist now. I bring Koda with me all the time and he loves it. With being able to pick out a new toy every week and destroy it in a couple hours. Lol.I love the fact the staff is friendly and very helpful. And also not alot of people are there in the morning when we go. So its actually enjoyable for us to look around and find new treats or toys. The store is very well kept and doesn't smell of animals.We are going miss this store, when we move next month back home to Montana.

The staff were helpful, friendly and nice. When I went here many items were out of stock, which was disappointing. The fish area is a nice oval shape but it's smaller than the Petco in Puyallup's fish dept. However, they carry more hard-to-find items like giant roaches and pond plants! Overall it was a good experience. It had good prices.

I honestly couldn't be happier with the staff and their owners, Petco staff are minor experts in their own areas of specific pet type's. & their competitionPetSmart literally sent a nice lizard to his early grave @ a store I went to once. Due to their total lack of trying they seemed to be guilty of giving it mouth rott,a terminal condition. Simply due to never changing it's water enough :(

VERY dirty tank! I have owned a tank my entire life, I understand it is not the easiest to maintain (especially with so many). But they have enough staff to at least scrub for algae. I tried to purchase a nerite snail (wont breed in freshwater) and they showed me a mystery snail (will breed in freshwater) and called it a nerite snail, very disappointed since they look very different.

I would avoid this location for any grooming. Today was the third time I was turned away from getting dogs nails trimmed. Their website says to just show up and you cannot schedule nail trim on their app. The first time, the groomers had gone home early, the second time they told me they had no time. This time, after 4 days of calling to get someone to answer, they scheduled me an appointment to make sure I would not get turned away. Well.....they turned me away saying they were short staffed and would have to reschedule.

Customer service is nonexistent. Store is very messy with not only items all over the floors but barley anything in stock nor in its actual place. To get help is like pulling teeth. Went to purchase a harness with no tag from a shelf that stated it was a certain price. The cashier said it was over 10 dollars more because it's size.. there is no tag.. it was dirty.. and now I have an employee with a attitude.. nope! I walked out. This place needs to a employee overhaul. Maybe hire some positive and upbeat employees who are happy to do their jobs! I will never shop here again nor will I recommend anyone to shop here.
