Most overpriced thrift store I’ve ever been to. Prices are outrageous, but I had to laugh out loud over them, mostly out of shock. Also, the manager that afternoon (2/28/24) stood around gossiping loudly with friends as she barked orders across across the store at the staff. Extremely disrespectful and unprofessional. The entire experience was unpleasant, I decided not to spend my money there and rarely leave reviews, but this one weighed heavy on me.

I noticed that they’re starting to price more and more items with white tags, meaning they won’t ever go on sale. When I was in there today it seemed like almost 50% of the store was white tags and they were putting more white tags out. Also their pricing on most of the clothing is ridiculous. Good luck selling all that stuff at full price. I won’t be back.

In the past three years of me living here I have tried on numerous occasions to quickly go drop off donations and each time the donations line is closed. Regardless if I call beforehand, check store hours, etc. I understand people need breaks but it’s ridiculous that it’s a recurring thing regardless of various different times and days I’ve attempted to come to this location. At this point just have bins that people can donate to outside the facility since no one is ever working this location

Stopped in last week when I was up in the area. I was greeted pleasantly when entering so i found it to be welcoming when i walked in &found the store to be clean and fairly organized for a thrift store. The shelves were tidy , not so overloaded with items, making it easier to look for treasures, which I found a few! They had a nice selection of beautiful fabrics&quilts, collectable items, brand new yarn and other crafting supplies, nice selection of pots and pans, just a lot of nice stuff! And they had some great jewelry! ... .The staff was pleasant and the cashier was friendly and even wrapped some of my items which was really nice. Overall I had a good shopping experience here

Terrible place to work. Called OSHA on safety hazard. And they made it my fault. Improper training of management and staff. Is the fault. The blame game. And than said I quit. When I have email proving I didn't quit. And hr fired just before she said I quit. She didn't even look at sent emails. Or take the employees side at all. Stay out. Truly feel thet let go for reporting safety issues. Hopefully OSHA and labor and industry has been in by now.

What a weird Goodwill. Looking for a Dog bowl and the same one unused at Walmart was less expensive. The older man with glasses is super rude.I’m surprised on how they get away with pricing at retail.

Waited in line for 15min to donate and a girl that braids walked up to my truck and put a sandwich noard out that said temporarily closed without any explanation. Now there are 7 cars behind me. WTH, poor communication. We'll be finding a better place to donate our goods.

I purchased a six hundred dollar genuine Wilson's brand leather coat at fifty percent off from the original price of fourteen dollars and ninety-nine cents. It has a resell value of two hundred and five dollars, a pair of wranglers still with their tags, and many other incredible deals.

This Goodwill hates poor people so much, they intentionally lock the bathrooms and make them unavailable for paying customers. When asked about it, the manager just says "company policy" as if I've never used the bathroom at a Goodwill before.Never shop anywhere without publicly available bathrooms. Ever.

Been sitting here for 20 minutes and no one here to drop off donations. Called and no one knows anything. Poor communications and customers service

The clerks in the store are always very nice But I’m sorry the clothes are used and your charging prices that I can get at Walmart and target for the same thing you need to lower your prices. They are used clothing!

Highly encourage to donate elsewhere. Three separate times I’ve tried to donate. Only once were they open to donate and even that time the guy receiving was very rude to everyone in line. Drive the entrance 5 miles and support an organization with employees who have good values and a company that’s open more than it’s closed.

I called the store to see if they were taking donations and was told they were. I loaded up said donations drove to the store. The front of the store told me they were still taking donations and to drive around back to the drop off. I drove around to the drop off and the workers told me they were not taking any more drop offs. When I told them their front of store just told us they were: the back of the store workers stated, “oh we just called them to let them know”. So I asked, ok can you take these since they already told me you were taking donations and opened and they refused to take the donations. I guess they don’t like their jobs, and would rather us to just take our donations directly to people who actually need it by cutting out the lazy middle man. I could understand if I came 5, 10, or 15 minutes after they stopped taking donations, but I literally was told by the front of the store they were, and while I was driving around to the back, within not even a minute, they said they just called the front to let them know. It’s rude, and unprofessional. Hope someone’s manager explains to them why they were wrong in this situation.

$8 for a used half burnt candle and $14 for a piece of fabric whoever is pricing these items is on crack. What happened to thrifty shopping

Not only is this place stinky and has just a bunch of garbage there there is nothing decent to buy everything there should just be free . Their toys and puzzles and games all have missing pieces or have rips. My toddler was sad toCome home to missing pieces to the things he bought. Stuff you can buy at dollar store cost double or triple .. but the worst is a big “Karen” woman , I’m assuming is a manager , that supports child abuse and wants to mask up your toddler that’s under 5 . Let me add I’m out and about with my kids all the time and never once asked someone told me that my four-year-old needs a mask. Basically Bonney Lake location is garbage .

The cashier was very friendly. The prices are laughable. Many newer items from well know store brands where priced much more then if you purchased it new in the original store today. They have a small section in the back that I believe is supposed to be for vintage or collectible items. Most items where new low quality items or vintage items in horrible condition with completely delusional prices. Found lots of items on the shelf's that should have been tossed away but instead where marked with a high price tag.

Drop off is never open (always "temporarily closed" due to staffing shortages) generally drop off staff is rude. Save yourself the headache and donate elsewhere

Went in this morning, and was browsing while drinking my coffee (from a cup with a lid, and straw) minding my own business picking out some clothing. I'd been in the store around 10 minutes when suddenly an employee came up to me and told me that I wasn't allowed to have my drink in there 'because someone spilled once'. I am a grown adult, if I want to drink my coffee while I shop I should be able to. Why was there not a sign on the door saying no drinks? I would have turned around right then and saved everyone the trouble. The employee did tell me I could leave it hostage with the cashiers if I didn't want to throw it away. Comical. I promptly put my clothes on the rack, walked out, and will never be returning. If you like being forced to abide by arbitrary rules that you aren't even made aware of - this is the best shopping place in town!

Excellent human beings! The staff is so friendly and helpful - Especially the guys in the donation center. I drove all the way from Federal Way to make a donation because FW and Auburn were closed. It makes the drive worth while when employees are so thoughtful and considerate!

I’ve dropped off here for years and I will no longer support this business after walking in seeing some of my items with price tags more than I purchased them new. I donate to keep business like this open and for the people who shop here to get fair deals not ripped off. Also I’ve called multiple times to see if they are excepting donations and hour later I pull up and they are closed.

Worst goodwill experience ever. Went in and first of all was blown away at some ridiculously high prices on USED roller blades. $12-25 is insane. I looked them up, nothing special and I could buy them on sale for that new. Then, found a set of 3 photos (a collage that makes one large image) and they were each marked individually $7.99. Thought this must be a mistake, given they HAD to be sold together. So we continued shopping and went up asking about the price, to which there was no flexibility even though its a set. Then at the same time, my 3 year old son put a jacket up he had picked out and was very excited about. In the excitement he lost the tag, so they said we could not purchase it. My son started crying, and they didn't bat an eye. Told us to come back later once it's been re priced. My son is still crying on our drive home.... Safe to say I will not be going back. Goodwill is no longer what they intended to be. I will not be supporting this anymore, Instead I encourage others to donate and shop at Deseret Ministries, they actually value the customers who keep the business going.

Tried to make a purchase from this goodwill and was told I could not because there was no price tag. Most goodwills would pull out the price tag binder and make a logical estimation. This one just said they can’t sell it. How is this a functional way to run a business?

Update for March 28, 2023: I originally rated this store about a 3/5. It wasn’t bad but not the greatest. Well today I decided to take my toddler out for a quick trip, I really do love thrifting. As I enter the store, I see a lot of people lined up at checkout. I thought that was odd but moved on. I found a few items I wanted, then headed to checkout. I get up and greet the cashier who seems a little distracted, that’s ok. Then after me asking how he is, he tells me “oh, by the way it’s cash only. Our card machines are down.” Well, I have been in here for a whole 20 minutes, never heard one single announcement about this issue. I didn’t see anything posted on the front doors (like they’ve done in the past because this problem has happened before.) I tell him well, I don’t have any cash. And he says “hm, maybe I should make an announcement about it.” I’m always a respectful person even in frustrating situations but I did tell him, “well, yeah? Maybe even something on the door? I just shopped around for 20 minutes and wasted my time unfortunately.”I know things happen and the cashier and workers can only do so much. But to not use the intercom to announce this every few minutes for new shoppers coming in, with no signage on the door at bare minimum, is not ok. And I wasn’t even bummed about the items I couldn’t buy. I was irritated that I had wasted my time “pretend shopping” essentially. So not that it matters to the store or the people who work there, but after this experience and previous ones of inconsistency and whatnot, I’d rather drive the extra 10 minutes to Puyullup and go to their Goodwill and Value Village there. Unfortunately I don’t want to shop here anymore.Previous review:The store is extremely small and sometimes not seemingly inviting. The prices can vary from a great price on something that makes sense, to very expensive for something that was donated. With the affects of the pandemic, they are often short staffed and don’t have many people to ring up customers so you can sometimes be waiting in long lines. The donation center over the last few weeks has been on and off closed to donating, and as an avid donator, it’s a bit frustrating to pull up multiple days and see they aren’t accepting. That’s because there is staff shortage though so that’s understandable. I have found some awesome finds here particularly in the home and wall decor section, and I buy used books here for my kids. It’s a decent place. I do enjoy coming here to look around. The place isn’t perfect but you may enjoy yourself.

Good experience! It was fun to look around and see what they have. Plus size options are quite limited but, there is plus size and you might find something you like. Another thing is, if you buy a lot of things you will need to bring your own bag because they do not offer bags for your purchased items. So if you are buying one or two items you can most definitely carry that out but, if you plan on shopping for more items; Be aware they don't give bags for your items.
just for fun

We went on a Sunday afternoon, so they may have been busy all weekend. Most of the store seems to be clothing. The wall labeled dresses was full of kids shorts, but not all kids shorts as there was part of another rack with some. I attempted to look for my toddler but there were no size hangers on the wall (the dividers that say where the next size starts) and they were so mixed up that I gave up. In the regular racks were also pretty mixed up. (Think a toddler large in with big kids large, etc.) Again, couldn't find anything for my toddler because of this. Boys shorts were a little mixed up too like they don't understand the size ranges for differences ages. I bought a toy for $5 only to get it home to replace the batteries and it was all corroded and didn't work even with new batteries, so clearly they don't test things before putting them out for sale.

Was accused of stealing. Custer saw me out something in my pocket. When I confronted manager, he said they have to be vigilant. As he agreed they do not sell cell phones.Dark people gotta beware..as usual getting accused by ignorance is not worth this store.

I would give the store zero stars if it would let me. We went here to get clothes for my special needs child. The lady worker was so rude and disrespectful. No consideration for anyone else but herself. I'm surprised that the company would even want or allow that kind behavior in their employees. This use to be a good company, guess they have dropped their standards.
