Well stocked store but the customer service is, depending on which of the workers is there, is either VERY rude and being ignored or aggressively friendly and being hounding you.All I wanted to do was look at all the stuff they had and the lady would NOT take ‘no’ for an answer when offering help finding something.I had plans to but several Ruffwear harnesses but left with just the dog food.If someone says they don’t need help maybe don’t follow them around asking if they are sure.

I came in here for treats & the lady working looked me & my dog up & down & basically said no no judging us & didn’t want us to buy anything. I let my dog snifff something (that I was planning on buying) & she snatched it from me, acting like I’m trying to steal. I’d been in here once before & the worker was nice that time (a different woman) she sold me my dogs harness but even then this place is way over priced & so rude!!

We’ve stopped in a few times to get things we forgot for our dog while staying the area. Great local pet store. We prefer to support local businesses over chains and are picky about the ingredients/materials used for items Watson will put in his mouth. The prices are on par with what we expect for the higher quality stock. They do also carry options for folks with tighter budgets.

I am a cat owner; so I was deceived by the name of this store. HOWEVER, it is one of the best cat toy stores I have been to so far. They had a variety of high quality and perfectly designed options. The team member that was there was very helpful, professional and kind! But of course, it has a plethora of dog items! You will not be disappointed! Love this store

This store is the ONLY place I shop at for my dog since I moved here 2.5 years ago. The product selection and quality are top notch, and I find everything I need, from food, to treats, toys, grooming tools, and even poop bags. My dog is now on a better diet, thanks to Heather (owner), who has been a tremendous resource. I can't say enough good things about how this store has helped me take better care of my pup.Heartily recommend Bow Wow & Woofs.

This little shop is surprisingly well stocked for such a small space. The variety suffers just a little because of this but not enough to make it a big deal. Just don't walk in expecting to choose from 30 different colors for each leash design. That being said the staff is extremely friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend this for any who find themselves in the area and need to get something for their furry family.

Heather is kind, knowledgeable, and the store has everything someone might need for their pup (and maybe even their cat). I always go here for my dog’s treats and collars and used to buy her food there, before we had to start buying prescription food. I highly recommend shopping here!

Amazing pet store. Small town store with charm and this place pays attention to all the details. Super friendly and cute merchandise for pets. We got our little guys doggy cookies and she placed them in decorative wrap with a bow, nice personal touch.

I Love Bow Wow & Woofs. Heather, the owner, is so knowledgeable and helpful. She really cares about all of her customers. I love going to the store and looking at all the useful and interesting things there are. You might even get to meet the resident Cairn Terrier, Pepper. Keep up the good work Heather and Pepper.

Heather (The owner) is just the loveliest lady I have come across at any kind of dog/pet supplies store. I went in with my pup Bruno after my appointment across the way. When I walked out of her store, I felt confident with the change of dog food she had recommend (a more healthy and Eco-friendly brand), I got itchy spray for his dry skin, I got fish oil to add to his daily diet, some really good pet treats that don’t have any hidden bleaches, a great brush to get to his undercoat (he’s an Aussie Pom). She was so happy and willing to give me some great advice from her years of experience. I’m a newbie with hidden ingredients in products, she was willing to guide me in the right direction with all of my many questions. Heather thank you for being so sincere, I will definitely be stopping in again when I go through Blaine again in the near future.

It should be mentioned that the owner here is part of a phenomenal program that assists in reuniting servicemen with their service dogs. She has received a certificate of thanks for her efforts, which she proudly displays along with photos of dogs that have been reunited with their personal combat heroes (or is it the other way around?). For that reason alone, I would support her. However, there's more. I'm not wont to write extended reviews often, but this shop deserves some sincere accolades.If in doubt: GO! The first thing that struck me about this store was how friendly the owner was. Not in a pushy, salesperson way at all; rather a kind greeting, allowing us time to browse and offering help at the right moment.We went in for a small bag of dehydrated dog food and left with that, along with treats, (more!) leashes, as well as AWESOME harnesses we had struggled to find elsewhere (Ruff Wear, if you must know!). Great selection of all available colours, too. We had just ordered the same harnesses on Amazon for a few dollars more ... but are returning those and purchased from this shop instead: support local, small enterprises instead of mall-closing, mom-and-pop shop closing Internet giants!She had solutions for our corgi's perpetual soaked and muddy tummy on winter walks as well, and gave us great samples of food to try.We popped in here on a whim after seeing the sign from the road ... Google had marked the store as "permanently closed", so we were going to push on to Bellingham after dropping our pups at my mother's house. WE ARE SO GLAD WE DIDN'T GO SOUTH! The store IS open, so I'd recommend calling ahead if someone marks it closed again. (Who does that, by the way? Nasty!)You really should not miss out on this welcoming, clean, well-stocked, well laid-out and affordable store. We had wanted to purchase food near my mother's house in Birch Bay, as the rule on bringing food over the border from Canada is always a mystery to me ... so I just don't do it. Now I know where my local shop for "home away from home" goodies will be in future!SUPPORT LOCAL, SMALL, INDEPENDENT BUSINESSES!!!!!!!

For full transparency, two of his friends are beavers. Located conviently off of I-5 to your right it heading south. I couldn't tell you, which way to turn if your heading north, after all I only have a master's from a Washington university

Have frequented Bow Wow for many years and would not go anywhere else. When my dog was arthritic and couldn't walk I gave him a tincture from Bow Wow and on the third day he walked normal.When my cat was paralyzed and amaciated and would not eat and no bowel movements I fed and did everything Heather said and gave herbs for intestines, and now my cat is fine sassy and old . Heather has top of the line food. Everything is top notch health wise. I trust her explicitly.
