Really impressed with the selection and staff at Yeager’s on my first visit. I stumbled upon their tent sale and picked up some nice t-shirts and socks at a great price. Then, I decided to check out the store and wound up buying some new ski boots at a great 40% off end-of-season price. The staff was really helpful with my trying on ski boots, in June. I was also delighted to see all of their kayaks, paddle boards and related gear. Definitely looking forward to my next visit and seeing more if the store.

The basement is a trap! I’ve never seen so many toys in my life! Unless you’re ready and willing to buy something for your babies, don’t go down there unless they’re extremely well-controlled lol. But in all seriousness, this place is amazing and are comfortable, especially when they have sales. The staff there is out of this world friendly in every way and they are so helpful. And if you get the opportunity, I would suggest that you go to one of their mini functions that they have throughout the year. They’re always giving away free stuff and always have the funniest activities for kids there.

I wanted to shop local, as opposed to snagging the basic fishing gear garbage offered at Goodwill, or a chain like Sportman's Warehouse.This is my son's first experience shopping for fishing supplies. Are my expectations too high?The lady running the register was not friendly. Maybe a burnt out long time employee? I had had hoped to be greeted more enthusiasm, especially with earnest questions & a desire to spend my money locally, with a newbie in tow.I found that your cheapest tackle box was the best quality, (Plano, made in USA!) & the more expensive boxes were garbage!I plan to return items, because I found higher quality, AMERICAN MADE fishing items on Amazon for not much more cost, than what I found in your store.I was truly sad at this shopping experience.Why go to Yeagers in person when I can order American made items online?

They tend to be a little overpriced but they are still one of the best sporting goods stores in Bellingham Washington they have a great wide variety of items including kids toys and wonderful housewives department on the 2nd floor and if you can't find it there they give a great referral I love this store

First, Yeager's is a locally owned shop! Buy local! Second, they have a large selection of sporting goods! Just about anything you need! Third, downstairs is a huge toy store! Fourth, also downstairs is the spot to get all of your canning goods!

Great local place to shop for your sporting needs. Fishing, hunting, camping, skiing/snow boarding. And they have a toy/home/kitchen area downstairs! They have a little bit of everything. Sometimes they are out of an item because they don't stock large quantities (in my experience).

This place is great--a classic outdoor sporting goods store for >100 years. Before there was a Cabelas, there was Ira Yeager's. Nice toy and kitchen department downstairs, too!

Probably the nicest gun store ever. Proud of them, as they navigate our complex second Ammendment legislation. Pat on the back for being very kind, patient, nicest gun guy ever. Hope the laws change and they can sell again soon, at least my guns, but I’ll be back for fishing gear in the meantime. Everyone from the younger folks to us grey hairs was very nice and informative. Great advice on local fishing, rigs, set ups. Very Impressive place, yet friendly and down to earth. No one here talks down to you even when explaining things twice. I got a memory issue fro AD service and they are always patient with me. The only retail sporting goods store I consider honestly.

Incredible store! Toyland is off the charts. Melissa & Doug products, faber castell, ravensburger puzzles, Steven Joseph raincoats & boots, western chief rain boots, dinosaurs, toy horses, Lego & duplo, a dress up area with lots of different costumes and accessories, build yourself diorama kits, calico critters, fidget toys of all types, metal tonka trucks, and so, so, so much more. I was blown away by their carefully crafted selection. There’s truly a toy for every kid, big and small, in every budget. I honestly didn’t spend much time in the upstairs sporting goods section, toyland was too much fun!

Classic sporting goods store... excellent service. I went to the Shop trying to sell a old gun I never used.... I was treated well and I highly recommend the service. The sale associate is well informed....treated me like a friend or family member. He was kind professional and very informative about gun laws rules and regulations. I'm going to return. I was looking for a specific gun and Yeagers was the only place that had it in stock! I was happy to return here as my previous experience here has always been exceptional. He deserves a raise! 😉

I was shopping for low top waterproof hiking shoes. Instead of going to REI my normal store for outdoor wear, I decided to shop more local and try Yeagers. I walked in to a largely empty of shoppers (they weren’t busy) store, perused the shoe section for 10 minutes, and made brief eye contact with a salesperson. There was no greeting and “how can I help you?” Zero interest was displayed by anyone working in the store. The options for waterproof hiking shoes were very limited, but if I had some interest from a salesclerk perhaps I might have found a decent pair? I’m heading for REI.

Yeagers is a local sporting good store that's been around for as long as it can remember. My dad used to take me here when i was a kid to get our fishing gear and any camping supplies we needed for a trip we were taking. And i still go there. They have all sorts of gear for any outdoor activity you can think of. Fishing licenses, Mountain wear, work wear, rain gear, boots, knives, huge fishing supply section, camp stoves, guns, skis and snowboards, kayaks... Just try them, they probably have it if it's for the outdoors. And also they have a huge toy section for kids. Lots of helpful employees, and has a more local feel to it. One kind of gripe in have is that they close a little early for me, so sometimes it's hard to get that last minute item you need. All in all the store is great!

LOVE Yeagers! Obviously they have a good selection of hunting/fishing gear. What you may not know is they have an excellent selection of housewares that make great gifts, and an AMAZING toy selection! You just have to go downstairs to find all that good stuff. They also are a great source for all your needed canning supplies.

So grateful there is still a locally owned sporting goods store. And this one has stood the test of time and been here for over 100 years. We come here for our kids fishing gear, bait and fishing licenses and anything else we might need. Good spot.

Unique store with something for everyone! I shop there for kitchen gifts, kid's toys, and camping supplies. Missed their big summer tent sale this year which bargain-hunters love. Next year I will get the dates in my calendar!

Yeagers is a good home town store. You won't get overwhelmed by hordes of cheap stock and they specialize in having things you may need for sporting needs. Gun section is very limited. Great toy section last time I went for that purpose which was years ago.
