I appreciate that this store is the only grocery store in Whatcom County, with fresh produce, that doesn't price gouge. Prices are already expensive! Safeway and Fred Meyer are purposefully inflating their prices because they think they can get away with it because we are getting used to these high prices that we just accept it.

Always a pleasure to pick up groceries here. It is always clean and well organized. There are always deals to be found here. The staff are friendly and helpful. I like their off brand products and it seems like they they work hard to keep prices low. When I compare them to the surrounding grocery stores they are usually better. I'll be back regularly for sure.

WinCo is our main grocery store. We shop there every week. What would make it better for us would be to have the rotisserie chickens and fish counter available before 10 a. m . A lot of people, seniors, shop earlier than some. Thanks for the consideration.

This store has earned my business by keeping prices low during and after the pandemic. Their selection includes all the basics for a family. I recommend going early on a Sunday or weekdays after 6pm to avoid the rush.

I recently went to Winco for some fresh produce, which I will say was very good. I am torn about this review as it is very specific to one checker and one incident. I was inline behind a gentleman who was paying for his groceries. He gave the checker some cash and a small handful of coin. Mostly silver. The checker loudly proclaimed oh no! I don’t have time for that. I turned around to see if the lines had magically filled up, which they had not. She proceeded to tell him about cook star or something like that and said but I’m not counting it. This “Karen” attitude was terrible customer service which I have not experienced often at Winco. Sadly her snotty attitude was infact from an actual Karen. Such poor customer service from a store that takes only cash, check or debit cards. He never returned her snotty attitude with a negative response. He held his tongue and composure while I on the other hand was horrified at her behavior.

Security is legit awful here. They will treat you like a criminal when you are there at night. Security sped up next to me and then harassed me when they pulled up behind me from the back. I think it was because I didn’t drive a nice car like they did and because I am a indigenous woman. Just go up a couple miles to Walmart, they have similar prices and the security guards don’t harass you simply for existing.

I just visited this Winco and had a horrible experience. The guy that was working in the self checkout line had such an attitude and was extremely rude. He definitely made me not want to shop at this store again!

Pretty good store and it’s cheap. Can get busy but that’s a given considering it’s a big town every store gets busy, so I come at night as much as I can. The workers are all nice except the older lady that works the self checkouts at night is kinda rude and always feels the need to but in and put in the codes for stuff for me and I have to firmly tell her that I’m actually capable of entering numbers by myself and that I wasn’t born yesterday, thought it was just me but upon arriving today walking through the self check out aisle (because they put the gates up to the normal entrance after a certain hour) a man was having to do basically the same thing I tell her and he was telling her that he comes here almost every day to fill up water for his business, just really pushy and makes for an uncomfortable interaction, my mood for the shopping trip is usually ruined when I walk in and get her glare right off the bat, maybe she’d be better off being an actual cashier instead of supervising self check out, I tend to favor the other gentleman that also works the self checkouts the nights that she doesn’t, I don’t know names but he has a lip piercing, he’s always respectful, helpful and doesn’t bother anyone that I’ve noticed. The older gal that does the self check out is the only thing keeping my review from being 5 stars. I would say the areas not great and that could affect the score but that’s honestly the majority of Bellingham now, Whenever I come to this side of town to any of these stores I’m always armed just because of the homeless people, bunch of tweakers tend to spread around the area from the encampment behind Walmart, which by the way huge congrats to winco for clearing out the encampment behind their store that was a huge plus, wish Walmart would do the same

I really only go here because it's affordable, and supposedly a better alternative because it's employee owned. But those employees are often a real bummer, and have made me less comfortable going.

Shopping here this morning and I’m not sure why almost every single person that works has an attitude and seems to be saying bad things about customers that shop at this store as if they are so much better. No one cares you work in grocery store, no one. There is no need to have inferiority complexes, no reason whatsoever.When I went to check out at the self check clerk I paid with card that was like a gift card but there wasn’t enough cash on it so I had to contact the self checkout customer service guy to reset the machine. I told him I had paid with an expired card and he said very loudly “it’s telling insufficient funds, did you USE A EBT CARD?” I told what I used and he said “I’m just telling what it’s telling us”. Wow do you hate your job that much you feel as if you need to insult paying customers? Why can’t you just be pleasant and full of peace instead instead of contempt and jealously for the people that worked their way up in this world and don’t have take a low paying job. No I have never had to rely on food stamp cards.

Winco has a long-standing reputation for (better food for your body).Winco has some lower quality food, too. However, if you're looking for affordable healthier food , definitely chop at Winco.The lines seem to be full all the time, but I guess that says something for the products and prices.Bring a bag and cash or debit card, and relax .I definitely recommend shopping at Winco

Thank you for accepting Hours of operation edit.Went around 2 to 3 am one day and it was closed.Went another day for the "travelers" pouches by Bumble Bee that already include the folding spork!We travel much.Good for travel, camping, prepping or work.Thank you for having them available and a great price.

Great prices. You can buy the same product from winco for 50 cents or 1$ cheaper or even if it's 25 cents why go else ware for the same product ?

So, I gave WinCo a try today. Many rave about the low prices and, I thought I should check it out. The prices are good. For me, the store doesn't carry some of the items I depend on or the brands I prefer. That isn't a problem for some, but a deal breaker for me. I wound up needing to stop at my usual store for some things. I must have also hit a bad day as there was a snafu with one check out line and it caused a really long line.

Wonderful place, pretty crowded at times. The store stops letting people inside at 12:15 am the security guard just told me when they close at 1 and it says on Google the store is open until 1:00 a.m. so after driving 45 minutes to the store I wasn't allowed in per the lack of complete information on the internet FYI

I have been shopping at WinCo for years and even worked there when they first opened. I have always for the most part had great shopping experiences over the years. I have gotten to know alot of the staff and there's a few that know me. Nothing but policeness. Always eager to help. But I will say I haven't had that same experience at the customer service department. There are a couple that are just rude snobby and unpleasant Everytime. Yesterday I had a lady after I asked if I could get change for a $5 bill she was very rude and said what do you need it for very snotty I replied the bus. I get now that they don't give out change. And respect that but I'm tired of some of the people at customer service being rude or just more so un approable. I get it's a stressful job I have a stressful job as a caregiver as well but after my shift I come into shop I still treat people with kindness and respect no matter what my day was like. It is important to use good customer service at all times even when your ready to snap. We all have bad days but it would be nice to try and be more kind and approvable. I hope that this review will reach management and management can go over the importance of good customer service. I really enjoy a lot of the staff there and will continue to shop there. Thank You!

WinCo is where I do my manger grocery shopping. They have great prices, large selection of items I stock my home with, the meat selection I've never been disappointed in, it's a clean store and misty of their employees are helpful and free friendly.
