This store has a recently taken a turn for the worse. I've always had my prescriptions filled here and it seems like the wait times have just increased an increase. I get all these texts, then more texts saying that a medicine is not in stock etc etc. I could handle most of that, if the attitudes of the employees were not so awful. The Pharmacy workers as well as the pharmacist themselves need attitude adjustments. Not pleasant, not informative, and very dismissive.

Giving 2 stars as the pharmacy typically has what I need close to when it’s sent to them. But one of pharmacists is seriously not knowledgeable at all. I know a lot of medications, especially those that can be used in veterinary medicine as I’m a vet tech. I also have had orthopedic surgeries and been on a number of meds and switched from multiple types of pain medications post op. I went to pick up a medication yesterday that my surgeon switched me to and when paying they came over to “consult” me making sure I knew that this was an nsaid and to not take another nsaid at the same time and it can be damaging to my kidneys… I said, no this is not an nsaid at all. Definitely not an nsaid and they argued saying it was one. Not sure what school they went to but the medication is not an nsaid at all it is an opioid derivative with zero anti inflammatory properties. Even a simple google search can show that, though I already knew this anyway from taking in the past and the fact that for a long time it was used in vet med in conjunction with NSAIDs for many dogs with pain.

Customer is always spose to be right. Customer gets to remind employee that an item is on sale. There is also a good coupon customer is using. Employee 'accidently' touches wrong button. Total is $52 instead of $14. Thankfully fiasco only took 15 minutes & manager to clear up. We are only human right....

I think she is a new tech or a pharmacist I'm pretty sure her name is Norma (?) but I just hope whatever she is going through, she is doing OK. I don't care how efficient of a worker someone is, there needs to be a conversation had with this person and they need to revisit bedside manner, customer support, basic levels of respect for other humans etc. I also wonder if she is maybe in the wrong field for her career? Usually health care workers genuinely want to help people and having dealt with her at least 5ish times, I question whether that is the case here. Good luck Norma. It would be awesome If you could reply with your work schedule so I can avoid the vicinity during those hours. The stars only reflect this specific human, I find the other workers and store itself fantastic.

The pharmacy has always been great to us but recently they have a new tech and she’s very rude. Asked her to transfer a prescription to another closer store and she acted like that was bothering her and failed to do that. Ended up waiting over two hours for after surgery meds. Maybe hire people who like working in customer service.

I'm sure some folks had bad experiences here; unfortunately it's that way with every pharmacy. There's gonna be times it's not good, and I feel that.This Rite Aid though? They've been treating me quite kindly for over a year now. They make pickup really helpful and convenient for me, especially with the app. The pharmacy techs are kind people who have always done their very best to help me when something went wrong. I've really seen them go above and beyond.Even if they fumble sometimes (and I'm sure they do, they're only human) they try to make it right, and really care about making sure I have what I need. Thank you Sunset Rite Aid!

I have a disabled son and husband. The Sunset RiteAid pharmacy staff has very caring pharmacists and the technicians who are very knowledgeable , supportive, professional and kind! I’m so thankful that we found them.

Man, what a terrible store. There's hardly any of the products on the shelfs. Almost looks like the place has been recently robbed... Went for baby formula and the shelf was probably 5% full. Employees seem sad and depressed to be working there. Walgreens right down the road is 100 times better. Went there for formula and shelfs were 90% full.

Don't usually post review but saw some negative reviews for the pharmacy worker had to post-Been going there for years the are always the nicest maybe a little line but usually not too long. The customer service for me has always been great. That's why I don't switch pharmacies despite cash coupons. One guys opinion.

I was in getting a prescription filled last night. I asked the woman at the counter if this variation of my previous prescription would still give me the same negative side effect. She said she had to get the pharmacist to answer the question, so she summoned him over for a consultation. I was very alarmed by the fact that he was paying very little attention to what was being asked, he was talking to a coworker in the middle of me explaining my concern, not listening to me. In hindsight, I should have asked for my prescription back and went to Walgreens instead. He then quickly said, "no, this is a different medication" and rushed away. I took the medication last night, and contrary to what the pharmacist told me, I did have the same negative side effect. This is scary, it is legally his job to reassure and explain the prescription to the customer when they request a consultation and I didn't even get the time of day. Hope he doesn't do this to the wrong customer and they end up ill or worse. Unlikely I'll use RiteAid pharmacy again for safety reasons. Two stars only because the woman at the drop off counter was pleasant and professional, and because the other pharmacist that is typically working when I go in takes his job very seriously, understanding that people's health is at risk.

The lady that works the morning shift. I think her name is Anna, she always wears her name tag crooked. She is the rudest lady and has the worst customer service!!!! Now keep in mind that my Mother and I shop here all the time. This morning I purchased something and she literally threw my change back to me on the counter and said nothing. No "thank you" or anything. I am so sick of appalling customer service in Bellingham. She should be fired immediately!!!!!!! Just went in to Rite Aid again and the same lady, Anna, was the cashier again. Again she was extremely rude and no Thank You. I complained to upper management and can't believe there is nothing they can do about her!!!!! Upper management told me they would let an even higher management know about Anna. She obviously hates her job and completey takes it out on customers every single day. Wow!!! Next time I go in there and if Anna is at the counter, I will wait and ask for another cashier to help me. I refuse to have her ever cash me out again!!!!!!!!!

Very rude pharmacy worker. I came to the wrong store for my vaccination and when I politely asked if she would look at my confirmation email she looked at it and snapped “that’s not even our address” and walked away. Ok, my bad, I’m at the wrong store, but I don’t understand why she was so rude and unhelpful.
