The atmosphere was so relaxing and joyful. All of the cats were friendly towards all of the people, young and old. The kitties were also respectful of the other kitties in the room. They were okay to be petted even when they were sleeping. They had a great selection of unique beverages, cookies, and adorable merchandise. Neko Cat Café is on the top of my list to visit every time I come up to Bellingham!!!Kid-friendliness: The kitties were comfortable with kids in the room too.

Warm, friendly atmosphere with lots of kitties to interact with. Lots of cat toys for the felines that are feeling playful, and cat beds for the ones relaxing, perfect for petting. It is my daughter's favorite place to visit. She knows all the cats by name, and we've only been twice. We will definitely be visiting again, it's only a matter of when.Kid-friendliness: The environment is very welcoming to cat-lovers of all ages.

We had a great time meeting all the adorable 🐈 🐈‍⬛ cuties here! They limit the visit to one hour and allow only a certain number of people per session. So it’s better to make a reservation before you go, which you can easily do on their website. If you don’t get a chance to make a reservation, make sure to show up at the top of the hour, that’s when each session begins. All the cats were friendly, most were sleeping while we were there, but that’s what cats do; they sleep during the day! You can still pet them tho. We fell in love with the newest cat Earl Grey. We learned from the staff that he’s not very good interacting with other cats, but he was super playful and affectionate towards humans, make sure you say hi to him while you’re there, you’d love him!😻😻😻

We didn't have any food or beverages so I can't review that. We did however have a great time playing and snuggling the kitties. The staff were very knowledgeable about each kitten. They were so friendly and kind. My son has been NUMEROUS times and now I can't wait to go back just as much. :)Kid-friendliness: It was fun watching all the little ones playing with the kittens and hearing them giggle.

45 min sessions for $15 each that start at the top of the hour (this is important because you will have to wait if you get there at an odd time). I really like that they have adoptable cats. The kitties were all pretty sleepy while we were there (2pm-2:45pm), but I did find one cat that I was able to play with for a while. Another cat was so happy to lay on my friend’s lap and fell asleep. It was so cute! We didn’t order any snacks or drinks, but I got a picture of the menu. I rate 4 out of 5 stars because personally, this isn’t somewhere I’d come regularly and it was hard to find a cat that actually wanted to interact with me (I ended up wandering around the room for the first half of my visit); however, I ended up having a very positive experience overall!

Clearly a place that loves the kitties they’ve invited us to visit. Great beer selection and fun, unique snacks. Very kind to my 2 year old. All the cats were so nice and patient! Can’t wait to go backKid-friendliness: You have to know your kid, obviously, we are lucky and ours is pretty relaxed with the kitties. She had a blast, easy for her to get around and explore the various cat spaces, loved playing with the cat toys with the cats. Staff were very patient and sweet to her.

LOVE the concept, and we’ll go again for sure, HOWEVER…We arrived 10 min late, and there’s a weird… everyone has to get out at 45 min after the hour ‘rule’?Doesn’t matter when you get there or when you buy your drinks etc. There was us and another small group. They need to be more flexible, when they aren’t busy to let you have your full time. We weren’t even able to finish the drink and food we BOUGHT. Nope. Had to leave. Can I at least wait for my minor kids to finish in the bathroom??? Geesh…You pay per person to get in, buy the snacks, drinks, or merch (which is all adorable) but it’s not cheap, then they seem overly eager to get you out.Staff are SUPER nice, and getting these adorable kitties their furever homes is priority #1 of course, but there HAS to be a better way to treat your supporters.Outline the rules up front, so no one is surprised for starters. Post it on the door. But people should be allowed to finish what they buy… it’s just snacks and drinks, nothing that takes long to consume.Parking: Parking is free on Sundays and seemed plentiful. There are a few lots. Not sure if they’re free. A few homeless about a block away, but no visible drugs, no smell, and their ‘camps’ were as tidy as possible.Kid-friendliness: An AMAZING place to bring kiddos. Especially those that might be differently-abled. They can sit and the cats come right up to investigate. There are hanging chairs, padded rugs, benches, and spots to lay down and snuggle. 2 very clean restrooms with a clear glass door vestibule so parents can see any kids going in and out and ensure they’re safe.Kitty potties are in another room, and from the lack of smell, the kitties use their restrooms accordingly. Everything was super clean.

I had the amazing opportunity to meet Wonderbread, a gorgeous kitty with the kindest little meow. He curled up next to me, kneaded like it was his full time job, and spent the rest of the session just purring and dozing! It was his first day out on the floor I was told and he was so relaxed and happy. They take good care of their kitties here, it’s always a pleasure to stop by!

We loved our visit so much. Very professional young team working that day. Very clean and organized. Cats are so sweet and very well cared for. These cats are in heaven with all the play and love shared by visitors. A bunch of sweet fur babies. Darling business, good cause. Bright and white and enough snuggles for everyone. If you are looking for a therapeutic experience, this is highly recommended. We did the 45 minute visit, and it goes by so fast!! Next time we'll pay for the 2 hour visit if available. I have 4 cats at home already, but it was hard not to fall in love with each of these cuties!

While it is a little pricey (food/drinks especially), it is totally worth it to see all the kitties and to pet them! ♡ $15 per person for a 45 minute session in the cat room. Plus taxes, of course. I highly recommend getting an appointment online to make sure there's enough space as they have a limit on how many people can be in the cat room at one time!Parking: Parking is all metered. You get an hour for $1.50 which is basically all you really need if you get a 45 minute session with the kitties! There are limited spots, but if you get there at a decent time (we went at 1pm on Monday) then you should be good!Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly! There were several when we went. 1 adult per 2 children minimum and kids younger than 13 (if I remember correctly) have to be accompanied by an adult.

My friend surprised me and brought me to NEKO for my birthday last month. It is such a cool, cute little place! VERY clean and sanitary. The decor was fun. The cats were awesome! They were all friendly and cute. Simon and Sean were my faves. They have some drinks and food, not a ton of options, but let's be realistic, we're here for these cute felines! Unfortunately (actually fortunately 😆) all the cats were either residents or already adopted. There's a similar dog place near here that we're going to do along with NEKO the next time we come up. Can't wait to go back!

Please go visit the cats and support this wonderful business. And maybe adopt one while you’re at it ☺️ The kitties seem well taken care of and the staff are super friendly and accommodating. Parking is a bit of an issue but that is more a Bellingham topic. Sunday is free street parking but make sure you have about $1-3 for a couple hours parking.(P.S Ringo loves to be pat🙀😽)

I love this place and it was my second time visiting. My rating is 5/5 for the business and 4/5 for my experience. That rating has nothing to do with Neko or the staff because they were awesome, they always are. Thank you to everyone making that happen.We just happened to have one kid in our group who was completely wild. He was loud and his family allowed it. He was playing with the kitties with wands, running and scared off a few cats I tried to approach. We were a group of 10 so we spent a good bit to get in and it was just disappointing that he had some cats on edge and frankly, us too. It wasn’t nearly as peaceful as it has been in the past.Parking: Most areas in the city are paid parking but it’s inexpensive. I think I paid $1.50 for my time at Neko.

Very spacious cat cafe in Fairhaven. There are SO many cats and the ones here like to interact with humans which is wonderful!Lots of great merch (cat soap, stickers, soaps and cat bow ties!) & drinks are available. Staff was friendly as well. Recommend if you’re a cat lover

This is a great place if you love cat. Your stress will melt away and your heart will leap for joy. They have a good mix of friendly calm cats that like attention. Plus, some cats are adoptable. There is a limited supply of drinks and snacks but that's okay. The time goes fast as you bask in this cat haven.You can get some cute merchandise and remarkable pictures.Cat lovers will enjoy.

I went here for the first time on Wednesday and I've already been back 2 more times!The cafe is well designed (and very cute) for the cats and the guests. The staff are friendly and so are the cats! They also have some tasty drinks, I like the strawberry cider in particular!Overall I had a wonderful experience and I will definitely be back!

The cats will let you pat them but most of them would play on their own instead of approaching you. Very few cats will approach you on their own or stick with you for long. Usually the cats with beautiful color fur have the most indifferent character in the cafe. They also have a private area where the cats can feel free to go in and out. I’ve noticed cats going in and never out again within my 45 min session. (This is not a complaint though.) The sitting, the atmosphere for customers (human) in the cafe isn’t very comfortable. The staff in the cafe were fine but the characters of the cats in this cafe didn’t really make me feel home.
